So I connected my Xbox One S controller via Bluetooth to my Android Phone. The Oppo F1.
And it sorta works but it doesn't. So pressing A to jump works. Looking and moving around with the thumbsticks work. That's about it.
Pressing the triggers makes the whole game bug out. And the only way to fix it is to uninstall the game and reinstall it.
For some reason the controller doesn't map the keys right with the game. Or the game is not mapping the keys right. Its saying the triggers are Axis X and Y.
Have attached a gif showing what it does. Where it starts spazing out. That is me just pressing the left and right trigger. Nothing else.
Plug the controller into you Xbox or use the controller app on pc to update the controller firmware, that should fix the issue. I had the same problem but once I updated the controller it worked, I think Microsoft recently released an update to make the controller work with minecraft vr and that fixes the Android issue.

Also should note. I have tried remapping the buttons. Triggers are un changeable.
Any idea how to fix this?
