Hi, I'm new to these forums and I have a quick question:
I might be getting a Kindle Fire, and I'll definitely be buying Minecraft on it, but I'd also like to play with my bro and sis, who have an ipad and ipod, on local multiplayer. So, my question is: Can I play with ipads and ipods on Minecraft while I'm on a Kindle Fire?
Yes, you can. It does not matter what version of Minecraft Pocket Edition you have, whether it be for Android, Kindle, or iOS. They all can play multiplayer with each other.

Thank you very much. You've helped me decide my question.
We have an Ipad and a Kindle Fire and they both have the 7.1 Minecraft PE. They could play multiplayer just fine before the update but now they cannot get it to work. Can someone help?

The new update has a bug where the Kindle can HOST the world, but not join. I am on a Kindle Fire HD 7" and I can only host with my iPod. When I try to join there is no name or IP. Just a blank "LAN world" with no name that doesn't let me join.
