My kids love playing Minecraft PE on my Android tablets and my wife's iPad. I bought an Android stick to plug into a 32" tv. It comes with Jelly Bean OS and will give full Andoid on tv including Google Play and internet access.
How can my kids play Minecraft on this? Not a touch screen. Will it work with keyboard and mouse? If not, is there a browser based version that would? I will have a wireless keyboard and mouse for them to use.
Forgive my ignorance, since I don't actually play the game myself. And thanks in advance for the help.
Well, Now that I have received my Android Stick device (Sainsmart ss808) and plugged it into my tv, my son is playing Minecraft PE using just a wireless mouse. So you CAN play PE for Android (downloaded from Google Play store ) using a mouse. That being said, only 1 of 3 wireless mice work with device. My Logitech mouse that has the micro dongle works just fine. The other 2 with the full size dongle ( 1 microsoft, 1 Logitech) would not work with device at all. Not just Minecraft, only 1 worked at all. This has been a learning experience. I would rather have my kids using a device connected to tv than using my $500 Asus or $500 Samsung tablet (especially my son who is like Calvin without Hobbes). I paid less for the tv and wii and android stick combined than 1 tablet.
