for some reason when I click play game then press the PS button and look at my friend list it starts to lag. Also when doing I am doing an offline single player world on survival but when i look a the sky it stops then when i look at the ground it starts to lag
Yeah, they had to have screwed something up on PS3. Anytime I go near or even LOOK at torches, BAM. Instant frame drop. They better fix this soon, or I'm going to stop playing. This low framerate near torches (Edit: and lava, too!)gives me a headache for real.
yes im haveing the same problem in single player offline survival it work fine untill i download the new 1.18 now im geting up and down fps drops from chests and when im in the crafting menu and it seems to be a little sluggish when playing to so they really need to fix this cuz it is bad so in the meantime i deleted minecraft and redownload it except for the last update and it works fine now till thay get it fix
Not much can be done about a system that is 9 years old unfortunately. You could try adding more up-to-date parts, such as a better GPU or more RAM, but I think that would be against Terms of Service. Not that I care, just throwing that disclaimer out there.
