I've recently run into a problem whilst playing Minecraft where my left click / right click seems to become "stuck". It acts as if the click is being held down constantly and will cease once I click again or pause. I've read posts from others who seemed to be having a similar problem way back from the days of BETA 1.2 though I haven't heard much mention of it occurring on 1.2.5. I'm experiencing this heavily on a Singleplayer Creative - Superflat map I created recently, and so far all I have placed is; sand, dirt, obsidian, water and lava. I don't seem to be running into this problem on a seperate Singleplayer world I'm playing on in survival mode, though I may just not have run across it yet. Just to clarify a few important things:
PC Specs
- Windows 7 64 Bit Home Premium
- AMD Athlon II X2 260 Processor 3.21 GHz
- AMD Radeon HD 6450
- 8GB RAM
- DirectX 11
Additional Info
- FPS: 100 - 125, with no change during the error.
- LWJGL: Have tried using this potential fix to no avail.
- No lag: I do not experience a drop in frame rate or any lag, this is not an additional click or two the game is catching up with, the mouse button is permanently ON untill I click again or pause the game.
- Mouse: A wireless logitech mouse, this problem only occurs during MineCraft.
- Occurence: I have played worlds for hours without experiencing the issue, then without indication it will occur and be very frequent.
- Closing Minecraft: No change.
- Mouse Sensitivity: Changing this does not affect the problem.
-Older Computer: My older machine running Windows XP 32bit, 2GB RAM and NVidia 8600GT card did not experience this issue (however I never got up to 1.2.5)
Any information and help would be much appreciated as this is really starting to ruin my Minecraft experience!
Thanks for the information, is this definately a known culprit? Not surprisingly I did switch from a wired mouse about a week or two ago, but was problem free untill a few days back, the problem seems to have gotten worse (even since my original post) to the point a world of mine is unplayable. I'll test with a wired mouse to see if that changes anything.

I also have a optical wired mouse with no problems... maybe the clickers are goingg bad in the circuit... unless the mouse is new... that is a different story.
I'd just like to say, I switched to a wired mouse and the problem seems to have gone away for the time being, however a small observation I've noticed is it likes to connect and disconnect every so often (USB sound playing and loss of function), though it's only for a very short duration, it happens when my mobile phone (which sits close by me) has activity such as a text message or just is generally nearby. I've heard that mobile phones can interfere with devices sometimes including wireless ones, so perhaps my problem was down to my phone causing interference and jammed the mouse controls temporarily? I'd like to think so as it could be a rare but useful sollution to others problems potentially.

See? That's the exact cause of it. That's why they want you to turn off the cellphones while indide the airplane.

Do not use wireless mouse.
Wireless mouse support for Minecraft is a bug. Mojang will fix it.
