Whenever I change the values in %MCJAVA% -jar -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M %MC%minecraft.jar in doesn't work. Otherwise it does.
  • #44
Nevermind, I just fixed it. The problem was a texture pack. :Pig:

    your commandline is wrong.
    it is supposed to be
    %MCJAVA% -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar%MC%minecraft.jar

Tried on 1.3_01 - No effect. FPS stays the same.

Thank you. This helped a lot :wink.gif:

I had massive lags, in both sp and mp. It's far better now :smile.gif:

Wow, really thank you. I had 3 FPS badly and now I get up to 60 in far =)

I can't get it to work. This is the notepad:

    set MCJAVA="C:/Program Files/Java/jre6/bin/java.exe"
    set MC="C:/Users/Charles Henneberger/Downloads/"
    %MCJAVA% -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar%MC%minecraft.jar
    pause

And this is the Command Prompt:

    C:\Users\Charles Henneberger\Documents\My Stuff>set MCJAVA="C:/Program Files/Jav
    a/jre6/bin/java.exe"

    C:\Users\Charles Henneberger\Documents\My Stuff>set MC="C:/Users/Charles Hennebe
    rger/Downloads/"

    C:\Users\Charles Henneberger\Documents\My Stuff>"C:/Program Files/Java/jre6/bin/
    java.exe" -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar"C:/Users/Charles Henneberger/Downloads/"minec
    raft.jar
The system cannot find the path specified.

    C:\Users\Charles Henneberger\Documents\My Stuff>pause
Press any key to continue . . .

    Can you help?

Wow, dude, thanks so much! Works so well! In SMP it went from 10-12 FPS to a max of 42! Incredible! Everybody with this problem needs to see this!
  • #56
Only problem I have is that I keep disconnecting from the server I'm playing in in SMP.

I would like to know if this still helps people out or not. So I'm gonna bump this topic. Does this give anyone a FPS improvement still? (I feel some. So I wanted to see if it still helps others who've had larger problems)
