I have seen a video on Youtube from Shivaxi that tells a Minecraft bug that has been forgotten and has not been fixed for years. Whenever you take damage, your screen usually turns to the left, right? Well did you know that is not actually supposed to happen and it was supposed to tilt to the direction you took damage from. This bug has existed for over 8 years yet everyone including Mojang forgot about this. When did the screen tilt thing last work? It was all the way back in Minecraft version 1.2.5. I find this feature to be pretty useful when it gets fixed because you would be able to know where you are being attacked from rather than going in 360's wondering where the skeleton shot you from. I wanted to point this out so that more people can hear about this and get this to Mojang's attention to fix it.
According to this bug report Mojang doesn't plan to fix it - it is resolved as "won't fix", for whatever reason (you'd have to ask them why, the report was resolved a couple months ago and last updated yesterday so it isn't like they forgot about it):
Also, before opening a new report on the bug tracker always check for existing reports (the majority of new reports are duplicates of older ones, for example).
That said, there are many bugs which affected singleplayer when they split it into a separate server and client due to the server not sending the data to the client (this has likely always affected multiplayer), which should be very easy to fix (simply send one extra bit of data to indicate the direction a player was attacked from, which won't impact the amount of traffic if it only needs to be sent when attacked).

Report bugs to Mojang.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
