One of my friends started a Java realms recently so I decided to start playing MC Java again after only using the Bedrock version for the last couple months. It worked at first, but soon started crashing with the message "Error, Game Crashed, an unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Exit Code: 0"
Where the crash occurs is completely random, sometimes I can get in and play for a minute before it crashes, sometimes it crashes when I try to load a world, and sometimes the game won't even launch at all. I am playing vanilla 1.16.4.
I have tried everything that would usually solve a problem like this, I reinstalled Java, Minecraft, and my graphics card drivers. I ran a malware scan and fixed all the issues, I tried running as admin and in compatibility mode. I ran it though the integrated graphics on my computer and still ran into the same issue. I tried allocating more RAM, less RAM, changing the java executable, pretty much all of the things I've seen online about this bug I have tried. Mojang support could take months to get back to me so I hoped maybe someone here had the same issue and had a way to fix it.
I'm running Windows 10, an AMD FX 8320 Eight-Core Processor, an AMD Raedon R7 200 Series, 8 GB RAM.
Here is the beginning of the error message, however the problematic frame changes depending on where the game crashed.
