i updated to the latest version of forge because one of the mods i want to add needs it.
but now minecraft won't open when i press play and instead crashes right out the gate

the first log was from the jar launcher i wasn't sure if there would be any difference in the logs so i got one for the native launcher too

fixed the problem was i needed to update optifine to the latest version
