I am having an issue where while playing minecraft my screen will turn completely green. If I am playing in full screen I can simply hit the windows button to return to my desktop and the when i go back into minecraft the screen is back to normal. If I am in windowed mode when the screen goes all green it will not allow me to see anything on my screen and i just alt. ctrl. del. and press up to lock my pc and it brings me to login and when i go back to desktop my screen is fine and i can resume playing minecraft. This green screen happens like every 5 mins or so and its to the point now that I no longer enjoy the game. This happens in Java and windows 10 edition. Now I know everyone will say its your graphics card but I no longer think it is bc I have updated my drivers to the newest versions and the problem still persists. I have a AMD Ryzen 3 2200G APU w/ vega 8 integrated GPU and I play all sorts of games on my pc from skyrim to fallout 3, NV, 4 and Farcry 5 with no problems. Minecraft is so far the only game that gives me issues. No other game on my pc gets this green screen issue. I have started a service ticket with AMD and after completing all there steps they told me to get in touch with the developers of Minecraft so thats what I am in the process of doing. I am also posting on different forums this issue to see if anyone else is experiencing it as well or if anyone has any ideas what the issue could be. Kinda disheartening that Minecraft does this as I was so excited to play it on a PC and be able to use mods and servers etc. etc. but this issue is stumping me. Also this is just plain unmodded minecraft that im experiencing this issue with. Like i said already too it happens not only in Minecraft Java but with the windows 10 edition i have as well.
I got the exact same problem (and disappointment) with my ryzen 5 2400g running the latest drivers. Very rarely i get the same issue with other games then MC java wich are resolved by simply alt+tab, going out of full screen mode or turning the screen off and back on.
I suspect it has something to do with the drivers of these apu's as i can't find anyone else with the same problem who aren't running one of these apu's.
I guess we just have to accept this way of playing untill 1) a cause and solution has been found

Not sure if this adds anything but I decided to give terrasology a try and it just like minecraft gets a green screen issue.

2) we get a dedicated GPU
