So, I have this mod called "The Dalek Mod" installed and it adds a couple of new biomes in it, however these biome's have ids that clash with those from Biome's O' Plenty
To rectify this issue I tried going into the Config for The Dalek Mod and changing the biome ids there, but it seemed to have no effect on the mod
I thought of changing the biome ids for BOP is not an option as this would leave the world with several displaced biomes, but I could be wrong, if someone could clarify this, that would be great.
If, however changing BOP ids isn't an option, could someone point me to an external biome id changer, or maybe a tutorial on how to edit the biome ids in the jar file itself?
Also, for more reference here's a dump of the biome ids using NEI, if you check the config, for biome id 15; then scroll down to 15 and 61 in the dump, you'll see that something is not quite right.....

Is this for biomes? Cause it looks more like a dimension id config.
Hmmm, I suppose those are for dimensions, my bad, that would explain this "if you check the config, for biome id 15; then scroll down to 15 and 61 in the dump, you'll see that something is not quite right....."
But the way the mod works is by sending you into a new dimension, and then that dimension basically consists of one biome with the same name as the dimension, and I guess the biomes of the dimensions, are causing the id conflict.
eg. Europa[dimension] which is dim id 15, and Europa[Biome] which has biome id 61,
Is there a way to change the biome id of those biomes?

There are no other configs for the mod.
Have you tried to change the Biome's O' Plenty config?

If you've already generated a world, then changing the biome IDs now would mess things up. Since it looks like from the list you posted that the biome IDs end at 98, change the Dalek config to start at 100 and go up from there? That's what I'd try, it would be easier to change the Dalek mod config than to try to change the BoP config since that has so many different biomes to worry about. It looks like from the list that it's mixing in the biomes from both mods, but they don't match the IDs in the config, unless that config is from before you changed it?
There may also be an issue with biome IDs higher than 100, but I'd try that first. If it's trying to make biomes with the lower IDs then finding they are already taken, it might be jumping up to higher numbers, if the mod is smart enough to detect that.
You might also get a more useful response if you post in the mod's thread you linked above, as it seems it's active enough that someone there might have a better answer.

To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.

My first thought was to change the dalek mod ids, however the config file for it does not support biome id changes,
I would post to the forum, but I'm not sure if the mod creator actually takes bug reports...

Not yet, Won't that leave the biomes messed up?

Honestly, you should just change the ids. Ids are just how they are stored and can be easily changed. What version of minecraft are you on?

The mod author should take bug reports/questions, either on the forum thread or a dedicated bug reporter.
