Hi all. We are new to playing Minecraft on the computer (have pocket edition already). We have a new game band that we are using on our desktop. It works with no problems. However, when we try to play on the laptop, we receive an error message and Minecraft will not load.
We can load minecraft on one computer, but not on the other. We get an error message. We have updated Java, loaded, reloaded, and tried everything we can think of. Any help is appreciated. I have tried to do a search for similar topics, but nothing I have found has been able to help us fix our problem.

Unfortunately, your graphics card is too old to run Minecraft. Since Intel chipsets have issues with OpenGL support, the game will crash if it's version 1.7.4 or newer.
Your only best bet is to buy a better laptop, or use the desktop instead.
However, you can still use Minecraft 1.7.2 and older on your laptop.

Thank you for the info!! I definitely appreciate it! Here's another question then - if the game band is used on the desktop that runs Windows, can it be used on a Macbook also? We have that option, also.

Yes, it also works on MacBook (Minecraft uses "Lightweight Java Game Library" as its game engine, therefore supporting various OSes), as long as you currently have the newest model of all the Macs (for now). If you somehow got an older MacBook, you might have to fiddle around the graphics settings to run the game optimally.

So, there isn't an issue with switching back and forth between a PC and Macbook? My Macbook is only a couple of years old, so it should be ok.
