So i was playing 1.8, and as everyone should know its very buggy, so therefore, after a few crashes, i was presented with a new problem, 2 corrupted chunks near my house
if i go near them.... then the world freezes, and i have to reload the world, luckily it has to be right next to it to freeze
anyone know how to fix this?
If your world got corrupted you can try to repair it with MCEdit. Open the offending world in MCEdit, press 'ctrl-i' and select 'Repair regions' in the dialogue which pops up. Once this has completed, save your world and exit MCEdit.
To download MCEdit, go to http://www.mcedit.net/ and choose the version appropriate for your OS.
Thanks for the help, after exploring a little bit, i found out that there was even more corrupted chunks, all over my world, i hope this fixes it, i really dont want to restart, i already found a wither skelly skull...
It is fine, as it seams, just one thing, when its repairing the chunks, i think it reloads from the seed, and seeing as how its not been updated in a while, its takeing it from 1.5.2 so i got a jungle biome in the middle of a sunflower plains biome, and a swamp biome next to my house, its not much of a problem though THANKS FOR THE HELP i was worried i would have to restart, plus.... FREE JUNGLE WOOD! and maybe some slime from the swamp chunk
