Hello, my main SSP world has suddenly developed huge lag spikes making it unplayable. They usually begin to occur after having the world loaded for 5 minutes or so, and pretty much always happen when I place redstone, torches ect. My frames drop to 0, and everything becomes unresponsive, including pressing escape to get to the menu, and even the actual menu once it is opened.
I have tried using the minecraft region fixer, but it say's I have no errors at all. I think my world is corrupt, but I'm not sure. This world was created in Minecraft 1.2, so it is a little old, if that makes any difference.
I have tried replacing the level.dat and other files form a working world, but this does not fix the problem.
Its just this one world? If you have any large redstone contraptions that are running turn them off(though you probably thought of that ) Otherwise I would say that it is probably corrupt. Before you delete the world however I would save the world to a hard drive and try playing it on another computer. If that works fine delete it on the one you are experiencing the lag on and load the files from the other computer.

Any help would be appreciated thanks
