Okay so about 2 hours ago I played a bit of minecraft, and then switched to another game called Osu. I then after a little bit returned to minecraft but a really weird thing suddenly happened
The Minecraft launcher at first wouldn't let me click Play or log in, so after 2 minutes I restarted it, same case
I deicded to restart my computer
Now minecraft would get stuff and would have the error:
Looking for update Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws...ncher.pack.lzma Exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: s3.amazonaws.com Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws...ncher.pack.lzma (try 2/10) Exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: s3.amazonaws.com Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws...ncher.pack.lzma (try 3/10) Exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: s3.amazonaws.com Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws...ncher.pack.lzma (try 4/10) Exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: s3.amazonaws.com Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws...ncher.pack.lzma (try 5/10) Exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: s3.amazonaws.com Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws...ncher.pack.lzma (try 6/10) Exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: s3.amazonaws.com Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws...ncher.pack.lzma (try 7/10) Exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: s3.amazonaws.com Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws...ncher.pack.lzma (try 8/10) Exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: s3.amazonaws.com Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws...ncher.pack.lzma (try 9/10) Exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: s3.amazonaws.com Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws...ncher.pack.lzma (try 10/10) Exception: java.net.UnknownHostException: s3.amazonaws.com Unable to download remote file. Then it gets weirder.
I reinstall java, delete my .minecraft and restart my computer again
Then this time after retry 7/10 it logs me in (the reply is around 7000ms, which is crazy, since I usually get 30) and I log in, so then I click play and.... nothing downloads.
Relaunch, same bloody case.
Now its stuck on the retrys so I delete it, restart.
So now I'm trying to get the launcher again to see if anything happens.
Well that didn't work AT ALL.
Ok so it doesn't give a download link, and when I click the show all platforms. It freezes.
Restart AGAIN and now I can download it. YAY! Oh wait, no. Download didn't start, relaunched google chrome, now its stuck on starting and repeat 3 more times ._.

I then looked on this forum:http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1966137-minecraft-162-launcher-freezes/
and did what extreme heat told me to do. STILL NO LUCK
Windows 7
64 Bit
I don't know if I need to state anything else
I'm annoyed and confused.
Crap.
