I hope I am not the only one getting this, but like 20 minutes ago, I was playing minecraft when I died to a mob and noticed my skin was steve, so I went to restart minecraft(Reloading the world didnt fix my skin) and I now cant log into minecraft, doesnt matter if its a custom launcher or the vanilla one.
I also seem to have problems connecting to the mojang help site, and even when I manage to get it to load it doesnt say anything wrong.
Also I keep getting random timeouts on the MC forums, but anywhere else I go is fine.
Anyone else getting this?
Sometimes aspects of the minecraft network are down, ranging from login to skins. If you notice something isn't working check this website http://xpaw.ru/mcstatus/ that's what I use. Hope that helps = )

The Minecraft Forums and Mojang servers are no in any way connected to one another. Meaning the Minecraft Forums and your Minecraft problem are not connected.
The problem is likely your internet connection. Then again, Minecraft Forums has issues time to time. But if you are getting a HTTP error saying Timeout or similar, check your internet connection for problems.

You can do this in various places such as Speedtest.net and Pingtest.net.
Also I have no why the post above put some awkward site link to Mojang services, when you can officially go here and view them.
https://help.mojang.com/ <- plus I would trust that better and more accurate.
