I uninstalled my Java 32bit and installed Java 64bit. PROBLEM: I click on my Minecraft launcher, and the first page appears (login page). After I sign in and click login it goes to the "MOJANG" part but the screen is black
I'm guessing the first thing I should do is reinstall the Minecraft launcher but ANY help would be greatly appreciate

While it does look like the computer is 64 bit capable and likely came with a 64 bit version of vista, it seems that someone upgraded it to windows 7 with a 32 bit version.

Well we can double check with a dxdiag report. And I was going off the info on the gateway site about the nv52 series of laptop, it doesn't mention shipping with a windows 7 version at all.
To obtain the DxDiag file:
Press the Windows Key (the key with the Windows logo on your keyboard) + R (at the same time).
Type in DxDiag and press Enter or click OK. This will open the DirectX diagnostic tool.
Click on the Save All Information Button
Save this file to your Windows desktop and name it dxdiag.

Well there you go. I'll have a talk with zombie on why his report showed as 32 bit.
Still you should remove all your java installations, and then install only the 64 bit version.

It looks like en environment variable was overwritten and it can be reset this way to what it should be.
You can also delete the bin folder inside the .minecraft folder.
And it seems to be a different issue, but you are using a newer version of the beta release, but it could still potentially be an an issue.
Java 7.10 is the version that will be fixing the security vulnerability it may require java programs to adjust to the change.
If updating minecraft doesn't solve the issue, you should once again remove the version of java you installed and grab 7.7 64 bit from http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

You can download the advanced error logger from this thread: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1383256-advanced-minecraft-error-test/
Run it, and paste the results back here.
Apparently it's running 32bit instead of my 64bit. Not sure why that's happening

Still you should remove all your java installations, and then install only the 64 bit version.
That's what I did, and my program list only has 64bit listed on it... ugh
LOOK AT THIS:
I have seen other people have trouble using the beta release of java tho. Going to go take a look at that thread and see if was the same issue.
Unrelated, but there are newer graphics drivers on the gateway site for you. Direct link is http://global-download.gateway.com/GDFiles/Driver/VGA/VGA_ATI_8.653.0.0_W7x86W7x64_A.zip?acerid=634124516241607157&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=NV SERIES&Step3=NV52&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=GATEWAY&SC=PA_6G
but you are welcome to hunt them down yourself.
You can also delete the bin folder inside the .minecraft folder.
And it seems to be a different issue, but you are using a newer version of the beta release, but it could still potentially be an an issue.
Java 7.10 is the version that will be fixing the security vulnerability it may require java programs to adjust to the change.
If updating minecraft doesn't solve the issue, you should once again remove the version of java you installed and grab 7.7 64 bit from
