I think crouching should be toggleable, not having to hold it down. I mean, how many times have you fallen off a cliff because you accidentally let go of shift/alt/ctr/etc.
I actually prefer it as is, it can be rather obnoxious to accidentally toggle crouch at times, like if you want to run from that skele.
That's why we make the toggle an option in the menu.
If I'm fighting things I wouldn't make it a toggle but a hold.
If I'm safe near my base building things I would set it to toggle.
This has been suggested a couple times before but we still need it.
I'd like to see this in the game. It would avoid falling from ledges because you get a muscle-twitch while sneaking. And avoid my computer being all "helpful" and asking if I want to toggle sticky-keys
A brilliant way to do it would be to detect when you tap sneak, it toggles, and when you hold it, it stops when you release. I know there's a mod out there that does that, maybe it's configurable in Smart Moving?
