Alright I'm pretty sure most of us have seen a dungeon. At first we think oh cool a dungeon I wonder what stuff the chests have! We run in torch it up kill the mobs, grab the stuff, collect the mossy cobblestone, and than leave unless we're making it in to a grinder. So heres my conclusion dungeons are pretty boring... I was thinking why not implement better dungeons where its about 1/2 or 1/4 the size of a stronghold with a somewhat similar layout but using mossy cobblestone and cobblestone instead of stone bricks, cracked stone bricks, and mossy bricks. I think this would make players stay interested in the game instead of quitting and getting bored. Maybe even add a little mini-boss room where players have a choice wether to pull the lever and enter to room or leave if they're not up to the challenge. Maybe depending on what kind of mob the dungeon spawns it could be that mob dressed in armor such as a skeleton dungeon and the boss is a Skeleton with leather or chain armor with a few potion effects like strength or swiftness. Or depending on what difficulty you're on it could be a skeleton with Iron armor and an enchanted bow. This will also make players play on harder difficulty to get better drops.

If you look at dungeons in most games, they're large and have some boss or powerful enemy, like a non despawning diamond armour zombie or something.
However, in MC, I'm not sure it would fit in, you could tunnel through the dungeon, trap the boss, smash the spawner and take the loot.

I really like the mini boss idea of having more mid power enemies, that could be a suggestion on it's own. If nothing else there could be enemies like that in strongholds that do not despawn.
