uhm keep your v's at the recommend version (can't spell today) to that if crashed or can't play (it also could be your java if you play, if so please let the modders know that there maybe some thing giving a error,)
I have spent quite a bit of time not the computer craft side of the frame quarry Dire built, but stuck on the pocket computer and the GPS stuff. Has anyone replicated the pocket computer code successfully? If so, would you mind sharing the code please?
Hello, I'm pretty new to this ftb stuff, so I have a question. How do I get the world downloads onto my game? I've been playing on the Direwolf20 1.7.10 modpack, so that should be fine, I even downloaded the world save save folder, but the world never showed up on my list, so I'm assuming I did something wrong. The files were extracted to the save, by the way, so it isn't like I put a zip folder into it. If it helps, I'm playing on 1.0.3. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Make sure you put it into this directory: C:\Users\??????\AppData\Roaming\direwolf20_17\minecraft\saves
?????? Being whatever your profile name is on your computer. Make sure you put it in only as the folder, a .zip will not work.
Has anyone found a hungry node on the DW20 S7 map? If so can you give the co ordinates. I have already made a node with about 40 - 50+ each base elements, and traveled a lot searching for the best nodes, but I would like to play around with a hungry node and I can't locate one.
I was wondering if someone could help me. I'm getting a bug with the frame pullers. i found out that whenever a frame slider is facing any frame block, the frame puller stops working. If the slider is facing other way, it's completely fine. Can't get the frame quarry to work this way, HELP!!!!
Are you sure your setting them up correctly? I have made the pneumatic seed planter (from last serverplay series) and a miner (my own design) using frames and not found a bug.
From memory the slider has the colour (green I think) to the frame that is slid. If the slider does not have an empty space to be in when the frame moves - the frame won't move.
Cool, but I'm at a loss as to how you move it. The only substance it won't devour is obsidian which means putting a glass jar around it to make it a node in a jar or putting a teleposer under it is problematic at best.
I mean, you could build the containment area for the node at your base by building a hollow 3x3 of obsidian with a hole in the side away from your base to feed in items if you are using the node in the jar method or the same container with a second hole in the bottom where the teleposer goes, but how would you capture the node or place things to get it there in the first place.
I guess you could build the obsidian box around the node where it is and then make the enhanced teleposer focus to move the whole 3x3 block rather than just the 1x1 block above the teleposer. (I answered my own quandry it seems)
I wonder if the node stabilizer and node energizer are two blocks that the hungry node won't eat.

I know how - but on my first try could not achieve it. The method sound simple enough. Encase in obsidian put wood slabs on top and equal trade the obsidian for glass then wand it for a node in a jar. BTW I think your idea is possible but not sure if any easier.
The node stabilizer and energizer are not safe from being eaten, I have seen a video, you need to make a heap of them and keep placing them and hope it takes before you run out.
But that is the 3rd step - before stabilizing you need to feed it, soaryn was doing that on a recent serverplay episode, he built a 'chimney' above the node to feed it crafting tables and was having trouble with the height of his dropper (too low and it gets eaten) When I eventually capture my node I am going to try dispensing from the side into a similar chimney.
I have also worked out (hopefully) how I am going to capture the node - last time I got all but the bottom block and got caught trying to place it - I am thinking making a platform of connected signs on the side of an angel block above the node and putting 9 stacks of sand about 20 high on top. Break the angel block and the sighs fall allowing the sand to fall and then quickly equal trade sand for obsidian. The rest would be easy. I'll update how it goes
Update on the hungry node - Turns out the teleposer is an easier option. I managed to surround with obsidian and get the slabs on but was not able to get the timing of the equal trade and node in a jar right.
Anyway the sand drop idea worked but not as I hoped, all I got was a column of sand under the node which I then turned to obsidian and was easily able to add the obsidian to the sides as the block under the node stops you being pulled in (as long as you don't use bat mode or similar) see image .....if it attaches
For feeding I have a dispenser on a 5 second timer putting the crafting tables into a stream of water which then drops them to the node, the dispenser is fed from an enderchest which is receiving the crafting tables from my base which is far enough away to be very safe but near enough to get to quickly
Tips -
If you get the block under the node first your likely to succeed
Have a staff of travel or ender sword with travel with you to get away from the node
Build a secure obsidian area to teleport it to before you teleport it - building is harder when your being pulled to the node
Don't move the mode to your base - nearby yes.... inside no - just to be safe.

@ 9min, yay, trying to do something similar for Pam's Harvest Craft. Thanks man.

when is Ep 60 world download here?
did you put it in the right folder?

Anyone know why Direwolf was wanting a hungry node, wouldn't it eat his thaumcraft base if he put it in there?
Maps done:1 Maps raged at: 5 Map rage quit: Waking Up
They won't eat obsidian and if your fast enough with a wand of equal change you can move them to a stabilizer setup

Below F = Frame, A = Air, S = Slider
ASA
FFF This will move either direction
FSA
FFF This will move the frame <---- but not ----->
FAS
FFF after move.
I found a Hungry node!, -572 79 399 on DW20 map, and I almost survived it. Glad I backed up
