Updated to 1.023 and the automated essentia refill system is broken. The monitor is blank except the refresh button. I think the updated computer craft mod or thaumcraft breaks the code.
Hey guys... I am trying to get this essentia filling system working with the logistics pipes but I am not having any luck. I had to upgrade to CC 1.63 due to issues with the logistics pipes (the proxy couldn't find the request pipe). So I am beating the version differences are causing my issues. I am getting a NIL value error when I make a request. So it sees the jars and all the essentia, it's just not reading the mana beans right... I guess. Does anyone have this running? or any insight into differences between 1.58 and 1.63?

ComputerCraft 1.63 changed its API. Instead of adapting to other mods' forms of redstone and multi-channel control, it has its own API that other mods will now have to work with. There may be other changes as well which make it slightly incompatible with older versions of OpenPeripherals (the mod Dire uses to connect his essentia jars and Logistics pipes to his computer). This could be a big reason for the recent breaking of the essentia refill system.

hi i am trying to make my ae system send me say a stack of torches and food tru enderchest. i know dire did it on a video, and i cant find it . anyone know which one he did it in or can help me get it working, i have tried and no luck . i can get it to do it if i have torches in stock but it wont craft them for me.

It still uses the turtles though. I haven't found the logisticspipes version anywhere.
I have made a system without using turtles (I am not a fan of the turtle)
It is a bit more manual but it works fine
I made the separate AE system like Dire did and connected it to a provider logistics pipe then at the alchemical furnace placed a hopper with a chest on top and a remote order logistics pipe feeding it, with a new remote orderer (coloured different to the main orderer). So I can order many different mana beans and they will wait their turn in the hopper or the chest
I am getting a huge supply of mana bean so I made all the jars void jars, so that if I order too many the system doesn’t get clogged.
The only problem I have is that the mana beans don’t list in alphabetical order so it is more difficult to find the one your after.
OK so not sure who's ears this will reach but I have a question about design Looking online I have tried to find different ways to go up and down (elevators). And its lead me to 2 results one is using the elevator in the mod pack(white blocks, which work great) or to use a piston elevator. The piston elevator has a lot of issues as well as is very clunky and noise(hard for the eyes) and the white elevator from the mod packs doesnt have that but using space and shift are an issue sense if you hit shift to many times it throws a hotkeys issue on windows(I know I can change but lets go for something better) I was wondering if their is a way to mod the rotary pack to go vertically up like the transportation on a conver belt wher it has ridges where you can go up and jump off where and it just loops around when going down... I am trying to think of better ways of going to different floors in my building which is currently 8 floors but am continuing to expand up what ideas/ what is available for this

Pneumaticraft actually has pneumatic-powered lifts, with call buttons. Check out Dire's mod spotlight for more on that.

I have an issue with Thaumic Tinkerer Kami. I have finally made the robes of the stratosphere, however I can't fly nor do they grant me fall protection. If any one knows why this is happening you would be a great help.
if i am right u must press the button "U" to activate them, at least thats what i read on a forum post on reddit in the FTB part

I just downloaded the 80th episode world download and got on to look around and stuff when i went to you'r thaum room the essentia refill is not working i tried running the start up program but all it gives me is this.

in red text any reason why also there is white dots all over the monitors and in the computer.

Sadly, this has nothing to do with Lua, and more to do with Java. The API that other mods use to interact with CC is Java code behind the scenes that passes information back and forth between them, enabling certain things. Open Peripherals updating would help a lot, for example. MFR isn't updating its CC API for Minecraft 1.6 (MFR is already being rebuilt for 1.7 now), so rednet cables won't communicate properly with newer versions of CC until everyone updates to the newer Minecraft.

Right now I'm on S6E56 AutoTesseracts of Direwolf's Let's Play and at the beginning he completely changed how the mining wells' turtle program was written. Does anyone have a pastebin they can post or should I just stop being lazy and pause and type everything in on my own world?
Oh, and when I try and download the worlds from the launcher, it always says its missing some block ids, I skip past those and then the launcher just crashes.
EDIT: Okay, got the world even with id mismatches. Here's the pastebin for the mine program if it doesn't exist anywhere. http://pastebin.com/BBt411u8
EDIT 2: If there is a more recent version of this program please tell me which version it's on.

The Map mod is called Opis.
It doesn't matter what version you use, it will still work.
