Very nice channel and series i saw your signature in a thread and clicked it because i like technical mods and subbed cos you were very good apart from amateur PC construction video (*face palm* but i cant say much i have neither my own PC or made my own) and am hoping to get a PC and my friends are helping me to get a cheap and decent PC for $NZD500 and ill have to get a graphics card with my own money. Hope it goes well its not till April 17th so i have time to plan. Decent series but i prefer Direwolf20 cos I've been following him for 2 series.
You learn a lot after building the computer, more than you do from building the computer. Like in hindsight I would have done that video not on my first build, but that was the perspective i was trying to give, and I mean hell if I somehow managed to build my pc not knowing crap and it worked then that says a lot to people scared about doing it.
Also any constructive criticism on my series?
haha your always like "hmm were is (x).....i was sure i made some ......" and im like THERES SOME (x) RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!
and your like "oh well ill make some more" ................
I need an chest management system. Badly!
Well all that should come shortly of adding my new house
First off I'm going to build a workstation though. Baby steps.
I really think I'll learn a lot from participating in the build and process of making and buying the parts for my pc. As for critiscim nothing bad really that I can think of just love how all additional ores, blocks ect were modded textures by you. Also a unique combo of mods is interesting. Your series will probably use all my broardband this month . keep it real

oh btw............JUST SHOW US THE HOUSE ALREADY...
haha but realy, i do like this series!
lol
You guys will be mad when you realize how long it will take me to get those resources in my real world
Glad you like it!
Also my APS Spotlight went up today! A very cool and complex mod that I will probably use in Evolution of Technology once a few chunk error bugs are fixed.
nice review actually i remember what you could improve. When you say something wrong like try to plan the names of things your using eg write it down and display it your other screen.Awesome just realised that APS modder is from NZ and he lives in the same city as me

I try to do that, but some things just come to me randomly
I try to edit in text on the screen when I mess something up though.
WOW just got annoyed with 1.2.3 co there arnt enough of my favourite mods updated so i went back to 1.1 and spent most of 3 hours adding new and testing mods and now i have an ultimate 55 or so mod compalation which is awesome. and ill watch ep 6+ of ur lets play and part 2 aps tonight too bad i dont have enough block ids for aps in my mod files only 9 left

mojang should have fix it so the 4k block ids were not assumed as item ids before pushing out 1.2 imho
Any notable mods you think would fit my series? Now that we no longer have the block limit (or at least soon wont) I have room for more
Also i'm worried about the new save format, and how things will act upgrading to it. Especially the mods.

Hmm 1.2 has more lag for me but I'm pleased the sort of implemented 4096 ids (as some modder said he did a shoddy job of the 4096 ids) but sad he didn't add official modding support because that will be great and solve lots of modders issues hopefully in 1.3. In regards to my mods and some you could add here is a list of all the mods i have so far check some out if you see any that catch your eye.
ModLoaderMp, NotEnoughItems, MinecraftForge, IDResolver, Timber, WirelessRedstone, BetterGrassAndLeaves, CoralReef, IC2AdvancedMachines, BCIC2Crossover, BuildCraft 3.1.3, CraftingTable2, Forestry, IC2, InvTweaks, LogisticsPipes, MAtmos, MinerHelmet, ChargingBench, PortalGun, Railcraft, RedPower, ScubaMask, WirelessRemote, AdditionalBuildcraftObjects. and some others like EE, Optifine, NEI and RocketScience addon for ic2.

The potential issue with the official modding api is that things like covertjaguar's railcraft api to make all (or most) minecart related mods work together couldn't be implemented in the official api (or chickenbones chunk loading api) and would require a lot of hoops to jump though to get it implemented. With forge its open source so anyone can add in their api hooks.
For wireless redstone I will be looking into chickenbones' edition of it because it adds a lot of cool depth to the mod.
Also have you seen what has recently been added into charging bench, there are upgrades to make it charge faster. It looks sweet!
I also might add rocketscience for IC2 in the future once i get into more end game stuff.
Sorry there hasn't been a evolution of tech for a few days. I promise there will be one up thursday. I recorded a few episodes today, just have to edit them. And I've been pretty busy with school.
First of all, very nice series you have there, thanks to you I started playing again, I bought the beta back in the day and never got really interested in it until I stumbed over one of your Videos. So thank you for that!
I noticed one thing, and I tried searching without avail, you have just one kind of copper, I have three or four different ones, how in the world did you get it down to one. I assume the different kinds are from BC and IC but maybe I am just blind.
I dontexpect you to solve the problem, just a pointer in the right direction would be nice.

Something similar to this happened to me back in 1.8 I played mc, 1.5ish got bored then got back into it in 1.8 because of pistons. Later i got into mods.
If you look in the config files, every mod that adds an ore or alters world gen has a way to disable it. I use ic2 as the only tin and copper i use. So in mods like redpower2, forestry (and a few i'm missing probably) they add copper too (rp2 adds other ores too be sure not to disable any other than the ones that are replaced by other mods). Near the bottom of each mods config file is a option to disable generating ores. If you narrow it all down to 1 set of ores you will only get one set and they will all stack together. So i just disabled tin and copper generation in rp2 and forestry via the config files.
Having ores enabled in all mods is kind of annoying but then its easier to find more ores. Making mining faster (more ores less stone) but making inventory management hard (along with sorting systems). But the good thing is that forge makes it so no matter what ores you use (or all of them) they will all macerate into dusts (well not rubies or tungsten but all copper will macerate ect.) and once the dust is smelted they will stack again. If you just smelt them I don't think they will stack but you can use them equally. RP2 copper ingots can be used the same as ic2 copper ingots.
Also episode 25 is up if you didn't notice. And it is 25 even though I named it 24 by mistake until just updating it now.

You have great videos of minecraft. You should be a larger channel because your videos are more appealing than the bigger channels.
Found this channel while looking up on how to build a pc. I also subed you.
I have one questions though what do you record with and what do you edit with?
(I remember this moment "This looks like a lot of pressure"-pcmaster160 while installing cpu)

I record with fraps. I edit with adobe premiere (and sometimes after effects but rarely, only to add cool fx like that rewind i did in one vid).
