I found a zombie dungeon and made a trap out of it. Not a single red eyed zombie has spawned from there. Sure would be nice if that would work for red eyed zombies. :-) Do zombies still give rare drops? On other worlds w/o theses mods I've gotten lots of helmets, swords and pickaxes but on this one I get nothing but zombie flesh. Is that a symptom of the mods?

Not sure if spawners spawn the thaumcraft zombies but I do know that they still drop rare drops as I have gotten several bows, swords, helmets and such in my SSP world so far.
We all want more episodes but sadly DireWorlf has a non DireWolf life in the real world that takes priority and no amount of pigs/creepers is going to change that.
I don't think the normal zombie spawners will spawn any Brainy Zombies. You'll have to hunt for them or hack in a spawner with NEI. I have encountered quite a few of them lately.
I found one way of making up for lost progress when my save got corrupted by a Thaumcraft update yesterday. I discovered that the Red Matter pickaxe has a 3-block long x 1-block wide mining mode. This makes it a breeze mining through stone. It also has 3 high and 3 wide mining modes, useful for clearing out area for an underground base.
Before I reverted back to a previous save, I had gotten down to layer 23 on my branch mine, built a second centrifuge, a Carpenter (a block in Forestry used to craft the Beealyzer and some other items), and explored a mineshaft some distance west of my branch mine. So far I have replaced all my anti-monster seals (Air-Fire-Magic), my cactus farm, and gotten about 1/4 of the way through layer 26 in the mine.
One thing I didn't do last time around was create wands of fire & lightning. I had a lot of fun shooting them at monsters outside my base, including an Enderman who of course became hostile when I hit him. I was standing in a doorway of my wall where he could not hit me, and teleported to the inside to try and get me from there. That wasn't a good move on his part as he came within range of one of my seals. He just stood there and let it zap him to death.

I have problems with my computer in my quarry, when I write the commands DownDig, LeftDig and RightDig they work, however when I write the command for the Cycle in the computer its tell me out the memory, I don´t know why, I write the same of Dire, anyone can help me? I have a weird Logistics issue and I don't remember Dire having this issue.
So I've nearly completed the monumental task of building a new base and moving all my stuff to it (ender chests & portal gun FTW ). Anyway I've got my logistics system up and running and working like a well oiled machine except one area, my thaumcraft lab. My base has three buildings a fabrication area, storage vault and thaumcraft facility.
the fabrication area has no problem connecting with the vault which is oh less than 20 block away but it simply will not connect with my thaumcraft lab. The requestor pipe in the lab would show items no problem but would be unable to request them. So I dug back up my pipe and found that that side of the logistics joint between the three buildings was red and couldn't get it to work properly at all. So I replaced that with a chassis pipe still no go added a basic logistics pipe next to it in the line and the requester started working properly. However the system will not acknowledge the chests in the thaumcraft facility...
OMG I'm a noob! I never installed the modules in the chassis pipe for those 2 chests.
Okay well I'm still curious why my second request pipe wouldn't work properly until I put a chassis and a basic at the junction of the 3 lines.
BTW if someone makes a Direwolf20 banner I'll show it with pride
The Swiftwolf's Rending gale from Equivalent Exchange. He had an IC2 jetpack earlier, which imo should only ever be used to move sideways and go up, never down (or risk killing yourself due to vanilla fall damage mechanics), and works exactly as you'd expect a jetpack to work. The ring from EE gives what is essentially Creative Mode flight, with an EMC cost on activation.
