This was the most efficient design I could come up with for farming blaze rods and XP in the Nether. Comment any suggestions or ways that i could improve it!

Looks convenient once it is set up, but on a SSP standpoint it seems expensive to set up, and potentially dangerous that none spawn as you're setting this up (setting it to peaceful isn't a solution in my eyes).

Yes, i totally agree. Blaze spawners are the hardest to conquer because they can spawn in light level 12. The easiest solution to this (i think) is the fill in the spawning area with blocks, build the system, and then open the area back up. And from the standpoint of it being too expensive, i agree yet again, but i wanted to show the machine at full power. You can always just put pistons every other block or something like that.
In my traps I just have hordes & hordes of snow golems to kill them, since apparently the blazes fire wilt melt the snowballs, & Blaze are vulnerable to fire damage.

I tried that first in favor of originality, but the blaze would kill the golems anyways, and blaze don't drop anything when killed by snow golems.

Also i dont think blaze are vulnerable to fire damage
