Ther's a lot of threads of this topic in the forum, but NONE looks to give me the answer that i need, I'm mtraing to make a cinematic, you know, out there in YouTube there's a lot of Cinematic videos showing epic builds in HD and a porfect loading, I make a short video of 1-2 minutes and everiting goes wrong, I try to record with Camstacia, Dxtory, OBS and yesterday I buy Fraps because someone tellsme thats the best recorder to make cinematics... so my problem it's here, I record the game, I try to record with the best settings that my computer can hold, I have an AMD FX-4300 Quadcore processor, 4GB RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti, The game runs over 200 FPS but i limit the frames with Optifine to 70, the game doesnt lag when I record, but sometimes i have diferent results with every recorder.
Camstacia: I get tiny files with a decent quality and definition, but with lower frames.
Dxtory:gives me the most equilibrated results, but I have a important loss of definition.
OBS: I don't se so much diference compared to Dxtory, also, it gives me videos with bigger weight that Dxtory.
Fraps: I say it, I get laggy videos and a weird loss of color and contrast, the videos are recorded much darker that I see in-game and with less colors (I know this cos' I know about drawing and such things in graphic design, so I notice inmediately the loss of colors)
Beside all this things, I got "decent" records, but the problem comes when I render those, I follow A LOT of videos about getting HD videos (obviously the ones that looks great) but all of them use different setings and NONE has be helpful for me, I use Sony Vegas 10, I don't have money to spend in recent versions of the software... anyway, I try to render in MPEG-2 in HDV 720-30p and HDV 1080-60p the videos doesn't loss to much quality, but when I upload the videos to youtube they loss everything, looking awful even in HD and the load is soooooo slow, like all videos in 2005... another thing that I try is to render Sony AVC (mp4) and Windows media video 11, the last one (wmv) works better with other games and the video uploads are faster, but not in HD anyway, for gameplays I dont care so much because mi channel is forgotten garbage of internet, but I REALLY want to make quality videos for promote my Sonic Map... so, I will let here my last atempt to make a decent cinematic, you will se what I mean with this, maybe someone can help me with this, I'm pretty hyped and dedicated to this proyect and I'm doing it for free, just for fun and for all the comunity, but I'm a little perfeccionist, so I want to make it the best way possible, even the videos to promote it. Thanks for any help... please, be patient, I dont know almost nothing about render and recording, so please try to explain me like I was a child XD... thanks.
