I used to make videos back in the day and i used fraps, it ran decently for me (i would get atleast 30fps while playing and recording) but the file types are huge. I've looked into OBS and i like it, but my PC struggles to run 30FPS+ while recording and playing at the same time. I am looking for the least hardware-intensive software for recording that can still look professional (don't want bandicam(dot)com at the top of my videos) preferably free but im sort of desperate so if it costs me that isn't a big deal.
If you have Windows 10 and your graphics card supports it, the game bar recorder (windows+alt+R) is very good for recording. It's very low latency, can record both system sound and microphone input at the same time, and compresses the recordings. Unfortunately, it only records at 30 fps, and isn't supported by all graphics cards.

thanks a ton!
shadowplay would be an option, but i don't know about it's performance.
depends on your OS aswell.
