Pressing A + Ctrl selects everything that you've written. Maybe you're accidentally holding down control while typing? Or maybe your control key is stuck. Either way this seems like the most probably cause.

When I type 'a' in chat, it highlights the whole message. I cannot type 'a' unless if I make it a capital by pressing shift. Please help!!!
