Hi everyone, I'm here today because I'm having some issues with my recording software. I used to be able to record lag-free with Open Broadcaster Software [OBS], but all of a sudden it started lagging hard. I drop from 75 to 30 fps while recording and I don't know why! I have turned down all the minecraft settings, the obs settings, and even my graphics card settings, and nothing works! I don't have the best computer, but it still runs alright. I was wondering if there are any solutions to this, I have been trying all weekend and nothing. I would also like to know if there are any other no-lag recording software for free that I could possibly use. This is a huge problem for me, and I really need help :(.

Hey dude! It's me again and I'd mention I have the same problem, but I'm figuring it out. I'm having a little less lag but expect me to post something later with a better solution.
OBS Less-Lag settings.
Encoding:
Encoder x264
Do not use CBR!
Max Bitrate 3500
Buffer size 4000
(Audio does not matter)
Video:
Resolution downscale 1.25
FPS 40 (It can rise above this, or go lower. Mine stays around the level.)
Disable Aero.
This is all I have right now so expect something better to be posted from me soon. See ya! And thanks for the pic dude! -tbdunn

Wait a sec, I just figured something out... Okay here dude, this sounds stupid but use the 32-bit OBS instead of 64-bit. For some reason it actually works, and I have a 64-bit pc. So try using the 32-bit instead.

Doesn't help.
(Yes) Use multithreaded optimizations.
Process priority class normal.
Scene Buffering time 400
x264 cpu preset veryfast
encoding profile high
Use CFR (yes)
Custom x264 encoding settings (no)
Allow 61-120 video fps in my videos (no, this creates more lag)
Nothing else really matters.
I'm updated, I meant I started getting this lag when I updated it a while ago. Does that have anything to do with it?
It's a lot simpler to use and if you don't use facecam it won't really matter all that much.
Try to install optifine
I used these settings.

But i downgraded my Fps to 30 FPS and it worked .3.
