Hello Everyone. My name is UnifiedLegionzzz. You can call me Legion, Unified, Legionzzz and any variation of my name. I am starting this forum topic because I have been thinking long and hard and i finally decided to make a youtube minecraft channel. I would like your guys's opinion on how I should start my channel and give me some tips on how to get big into the youtube community. I would like to know what video I should start off with. Thank you for your time and I look forward to seeing your guys's responses. Also I am also looking for youtube partners. You must be at least 15+ and is funny and can crack a good joke now and then.
1. Dont try to copy yogscast.
2. Dont do it alone, always record with a friend
3. Have a good recording and editing program
4. Have a point to your videos dont record because your bored
5. Be funny
6. Get lots of videos out
7. Have fun
for stuff like mob spawning and all that do it in an ep where your showing the people your base and show them your mob farm that would be a good way to introduce it without going in too much detail
Hey! I'm interested in doing some stuff with you on your channel. I have my own but it would be nice I think to work with someone on theirs. I know quite a bit about minecraft ideals and schtuff... Contact me and hopefully we can play together soon!
With love,

1. Be yourself. No one likes a fake.
2. Get a decent mike. Microphones are the main part of the content, not the game.
3. Be creative. Don't play games that are famous (SG is an exception) yet. Also, don't start out with a survival series.
4. Always keep the video going. Don't stop.
5. Keep your own style of commentating.
6. Tag your videos. There should be at least 4 lines of tags.
7. Have fun! Do it for your fans, not the fame! Do it for the funny, not the money!
8. Use good custom thumbnails.
9. Comment on videos. Be part of the youtube community.
10. Partner with people.
1). Be funny, entertaining, enthusiastic, etc. DO NOT talk in a monotone voice. Sound excited
2). Play gametypes that you enjoy and have fun playing. Don't just try to copy other famous YouTubers.
3). Upload on a consistent basis whether it be everyday or every other day
4). Find some friends to record with. It's always easier to record with friends
5). Don't leave any blank spaces in videos. You should always be talking. If you cant think of anything to say, just say what you are currently doing in the game.
6). Be yourself. Just like #2 make up your own punchlines, your own style, etc. Don't try to imitate other bigger YouTubers
7). Be active with your subscribers. Add them on Skype. Reply to all of their comments and messages, etc.
8). Make a Twitter and Facebook and post updates on whenever new videos are up with hashtags
9). HAVE FUN!
Starting a YouTube channel can be very hard. I know I'm only at 500 subs so I'm not the most successful, but following these steps really helped me grow. I only started doing YouTube 4 weeks ago, but now I wanna do it for the rest of my life
Hey so I reccommend that you start off with saying Hello (Whatever you call your subs), this is (Name) here and I'm (whatever you are playing and doing)

You should start out with a customized modded Adventure, with a good storyline, and a friend you know a decent amount about. Also, give the viewers something to argue about, something that gets them excited, makes them want to share their opinions. Ask them questions like "What should we name out pet" and "what should we make next?".

That one may work. The more technical stuff like that I think could get an episode or two.

If you want then I wouldn't mind playing with you. I've played with a couple youtube starters and it's always fun to see them grow.
Message me if you want to, though you don't have to.
Wow. This thread has been necrobumped.

Why are we bringing back a thread where OP was last active in 2012? He probably won't respond to you even.
