Working on a new tower idea, first time attempt and not really my field of expertise. This is just a rough draft, figured I'd get some feedback to see how it looks before I throw it out on the map for real. I decided to go with a little different feel than the common round tower with smaller towers shooting off the side.

I've never needed graph paper before till this very moment in Minecraft. Glass Dome Project
I like it, very foreboding, and almost steampunky, I think the texture pack looks great with it, and you did a wonderful fob on the roof. One thing though is that bottom doesn't seem to totally fit with the top part, but maybe that's just me, anyways, +1, and great job!

Or I would +1, but sadly I have reached the quota for today :(.

Like the others have said, the bottom is lacking some detail. Take some pictures at night, I want to see some of the fancy lighting you've got going on there. Other than that, nice job!
I love it. I think the bottom looks fine, if maybe a little plain when compared with the very cool design of the top portion. I wonder if something as simple as changing the material on the corners of the bottom portion might be sufficient to spice it up. Possibly andesite (or diorite) or even smooth stone.
Using John Smith stone brick and polished andesite.
The same thing using Faithful 32x resource pack.
Stone brick and smooth stone, using Faithful 32x.
You don't need to do too much to the bottom, because you don't really want to take the focus off the top. In any case, good job.

Yes,the bottom really needs to be worked on and its not legit
Would you mind posting pictures of it if you changed it?
