It looks somewhere between an 8 bit video game tribute and the walls of a child's room.

"Sometimes, I just wanna give up, say 'I'm done with this mess' and go to bed. But you know what; you can't shrug off your responsibilities. You got to pull yourself up and meet the challenges head on. That's the only way you're gonna get ahead in life."
un-interesting how? its just an expression of how someone WANTS to express themselves.
they're just really really flat.
Which I don't like, and I feel like it would enhance the feeling if your highlights, or maybe certain parts of the piece, were put out one block to add a feeling of depth, and to really take advantage of your 3d medium.
Sorry I was a bit tired and I was a bit[very] vague and negative.
Everyone else is wrong. This is great. You don't adhere to a conventional pattern, but it seems your shifts in color are deliberate. I like the design with the green and blue wool on the orange. Orange and blue are complimentary, and blue and green are almost holding hands on the color wheel. The roof is very modest but striking. Beige on black is a good choice. And then just the emptiness of the room alone is wonderful.
Please, keep at it. Gradate from things like this into amazing sculptures or something. Don't just do it suddenly to wow anyone. Give it time. You seem like an artsy type. Take some more art classes if you aren't already. And maybe some philosophy in college or something. Great mind waiting to escape.

People need to understand what opinions are. Everyone that's posted on this thread is 100% correct, as they are stating OPINIONS. Also, not to be mean to the OP, but how does placing some wool make him an artsy type that should pick artsy classes? Then again, I'm not much of an artsy creative type, so you would probably see things in this that I don't.
To the OP: If you like it, then it's good, but I understand where you are coming from with wanting the opinion of more experienced minecrafters.
My opinion on it is that you should state what it IS. Also, the glowstone floor is really ugly in my opinion, I reccomend you put a pattern on there. The pattern could use glowstone, but not as much is currently there.

The entry Wall
Can you ask your friends to look at it? I want to know if I should continue with the wool art
i guess if I was into psychedelic builds with random colors and uninteresting walls, depth-wise, I might like this.
actually, the wall art would be very nice and interesting if it wasnt presented as a building.
