I did say the world was moved around a bit, and I make extensive use of the weatherman mod as well as simply moving entire bits of land around (as was the case here. I actually scooped up the mountains and reassembled them here like a jigsaw, was quite a pain but worth it.

I realized that we should be able to make comments on this thread and people's screenshots. But please keep arguing at a minimum. That rule still stands.
I like the pine forests without the snow. I can't upload any sceens sadly. I wish I could bring back my old worlds before the made the level thing different so now my old worlds are just MCLevel worlds does anyone know how to make these in to the worlds we have now?

I think snowless pine forests were only available to 1.8 clients. Only pre-1.8 screenshots are allowed.
Try out NBXlite to return old generation + current structures and jungles. It uses the same seeds as pre-1.8. I'd rather you turn jungles and structures off for this thread though.

We could. We just needed to add screenshot to comment post.

I've been playing around with MCNostalgia, and I decided to backdate to 1.7 and use the Glacier seed. This is the hill that my house is on:
Look at dat beutiful shiat! (Terrible grammar intended)
Oop booting up an old world save. This is my second world I created and it was generated right after lapiz lazuli ores were added to the game
The sheer madness of this gravel beach... it extends under all of the water you see in the picture! If there's one thing I'd like to see return it would be gravel beaches/pits
Opened it up in the most recent prerelease and looks like this area is now a winter biome

Since many people post their survival worlds, here is mine:
Was created in Beta 1.2 too. Pretty flat, has this lavafall that goes to the water. Interesting feature of its seed is that it has about 20 different spawn points.
Even though it has nothing very special, it's unique, unlike new worlds.

I like how it looks
I could build a tall castle in that hill
I love those things. I've got something similar, but without the mountain.

Edit: Forgot spoilers. Fixed.
I find it weird that the dirt/grass border surrounding gravel beaches/pits were always 2 blocks high.
