So below are some pics of a project me and some friends have been working on for a month or so. It is a castle along with a village and church so far. THIS IS NO WHERE NEAR FINISHED. We haven't had a lot of time to work on this. Please give your advice on what we should change/add or what you like/dislike. Thanks!
It looks great! Especially for a team effort! Maybe if you guys do another team build in the future, plan out more "strategically" so you know EXACTLY what to build where. But again, I enjoyed this, it's a nice build!

I like it, but there are some things you guys need to work on
1) Don't over-use exotic blocks (e.g. Gold Block, Diamond Blocks or using Birch wood on houses... 7th picture...)
2) Use a variety of blocks, but don't go overboard. Use blocks that match with the other blocks to make it look more real. (e.g. Stone Bricks with Stone, wood and stone go together, though)
3) Use some more dimension, do not EVER make a block house.
Besides that, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback! We will try to use less exotic blocks but will stick to the ones we have if we think they look good.
I highly advise that you include more variety in design and block-usage in your walls, they are rather plain and uninteresting.

Thanks for saying that! I didn't see that till now. I agree that the walls should be changed as well.
