I wouldn't take it personally. It's really hard to predict why an awesome post like this waits a few hours (maybe days) before people post about how awesome it is, even if people meant to days ago (I'm particularly guilty of this, gotta stop perusing the forum from work). Furthermore, MCF has been a little dodgey for me this afternoon, not helping things.
That said, love the house (especially the watchtower at the top). It's very neat looking, like if one were to film a machinima that would be an excellent set piece (assuming the inside works for Fraps filming etc.). Red wool carpeting almost always is classy
Do you mean texturepack? It's one I'm working on at the moment. Not quite finished yet. :tongue.gif:
@Everyone else: Thanks guys! After two days languishing without comments I was beginning to think that my house wasn't 'epic' enough to get attention. It's not a castle, I know, but then castles are overrated anyway. :biggrin.gif:
With the texture pack your making, I'd change the Chest a bit. It doesnt suit the wooden planks you already have, and the black border around themcontrasts too much from the wood
Only critism, other than that it should be bigger ;3
i agree with mcbrick on the chests texture. it looks like you have a winning texture pack in the making.
house looks great. i like the bedroom. i also love bookshelves
this is a really nice house,
but I have to say that texture pack looks really neat :biggrin.gif:
let me know when your done with it, so that maybe i could try it out :smile.gif:
So this time I decided to put some effort in and make something nice. May I present to you: Chateau Steelfeathers.
(No plans or references were used in the building of this house. ^^)
NOTE: The texture pack is one that I've been working on. It's not available for download yet.
The front door. Being a lakeside property, there's a boat dock right out front. ^^
First floor
Spiral stairwell leading up to the second floor and the observation tower.
Second floor landing.
Inside one of the two identical rooms on the second floor.
Another view of one of the second floor rooms
Up in the observation tower.
