1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer:

Looking around while resting against a wall, taking in the sight and sounds of people going about the daily business, I notice someone, dressed in a dark cloak sneaking around in the crowd towards the general direction of the palace. Getting curius and little suspicus I start moving in the same direction. As I make my way through the crowd I slip near a guard letting him know about the cloaked stranger. The guard signals his partner and moves to intercept. I stay a short distance away watching it unfold. The guards reach the stranger, some sort of conversation takes place which ends with the him taking out a paper, showing it to the guards. They let him go and starts walking back. As they pass me the first guard say one thing. "The Emperor sent for him. "

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer:
I am on my way home from a luckless hunting session when I hear a commotion. As I get closer I see two bandits about to force thier way into an old mans cottage. Anger rising and with my bow is broken, I ready my sword while sneaking closer as fast as I can without alerting them, but the old man react slightly when he sees me which tips them off. It is however to late for the closet one as I swing my sword into his neck. I manage to dodge the other bandits ironclub as he swings it at me. a few more swings and my sword breaks while trying to block, I fall on my back looking up with fear in my eyes as he raises the club again. I wont be able to dodge, but I try anyway, rolling over to the side trying to get up, get away. A scream of pain. I turn around just as the badit falls over and reveals the old man standing behind him, blood dripping from the sword he is leaning on. Regaining my sences I help him back into the house before he collapes, where we spend the rest of the day, him telling stories of the past and me listening just being happy to have survived.

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer:

"Good day"

"Good day boy, may I tempt you with some wares? My prices are open for discussion."

"Mayby"

While searching though his rather impressive range of items I find item that catches my attention.

"how much do you wat for this bow?"

"Twelve mina"

"How about eight? It is just about what I have for the moment."

"Nine mina."

"Nine mine but I also get a set of arrows."

"Deal.

Have you read the Elven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?: Yes i have and intend to reread the lore to get my facts down.

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing: Role-playing is where you act out being something that you hope and or wish to be. Such as people recreating fights from the civil war or people who wish to be in charater in renaissance festivals.
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is where you use knowledge from outside your characters knowledge to better oneself or get ahead in a situation. Example: I am walking in the forest and there is trap laid before me ,but before hand i had read about people running into these on the forums so i "just happen" to dodge said trap.
Power-emoting: This is the act of overpowering one self to unrealisticly do acts. Lets say i were hauling some logs back from my tree orchard and instead of placing one small log on my shoulders and carrying it back to my house, I would say that i carried all the logs on my back with ease and gently putting them on the ground.

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Aelvuln Trayc'ar Fiame
Current Age: 87
Sub-race (if any): Dark Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Ever since his birth Aelvuln has been interested in the art of sword making. His father was a blacksmith in The Elder Tree City of Normandor and when growing up his father would take him to his blacksmith shop to watch him create his swords from the minerals he bought from the local merchants and turn these minerals into well forged swords fit for any excellent swordsman. Each day Aelvuln would watch his father plung the fiery sword into the trough of icy blue water then extract the cooled sword just to reinsert the sword back into the fire and repeat the process. One day Aelvuln's father said to him that the water is what quelled the fury of each sword he would craft and with each plung making the sword tame eventually making the sword able to be wielded by any being that wished to purchase it.

One afternoon Aelvuln's father told him to go back home because he had to go meet with a client in the woods. So Aelvuln did as his father said ,but when the morning came and he ran to his parents room he saw his mother crying and immediately he shouted " What happened to father, WHERE IS HE?". His mother still in tears sobbed quietly and replied "Last night when he went to go do buisness with his so called "client" it turned out to be an theif who wanted to take all of his swords but your father resisted and was stabbed in the chest. At least thats what the sentinal that happened to arrive just in time to catch the thief but not in time to stop your father's death. One more thing Aelvuln even though I know this wont quell your anger they are going to execute him tommorow." Aelvuln then proceeded to fill with rage and disbeleif due to this paradox that his mother had told him. He couldn't believe that his father the one who had forged swords for his life had died by one. Aelvuln stormed out of the room shouting "THIS CANNOT BE THIS CANNOT BE" he then proceeded to run out to the forest looking for his father, but to no avail his father was dead and Aelvuln could not accept the harsh truth. In the the next few months Aelvuln had to watch his fathers blacksmith shop be closed and sit abandoned until the day came he could run it himself. Before his fathers death Aelvuln was known to be sociable and play with all the other races of children who lived there ,but in that time that shop was being closed he grew distant and ignored all other people that tried to make contact with him. The only exception was his mother and she tried to get him to forget and move on but Aelvuln was focused on reopening his father buisness and continuing the legacy his father left him.

Over the years as Aelvuln grew distant from everyone the only thing he cared about was the blacksmith shop. Aelvuln studied for years on how to make swords ,but despite all of his studing noone would allow him to try out his craftsmanship. Aelvuln grew angered with the people he grew up with and the other blacksmiths that he asked to help him. So eventually he gave in helped his mother earn money by cutting down logs in the forest on occasion or doing other simple tasks that occupy his time. Through all these tasks Aelvuln began to regain his former self.

Ambitions for the Future: Aelvuln hopes to open a blacksmith shop so he can continue his father's buisness. Also plans on adding something unique to the swords that noone has seen so that he can make his blacksmith shop special.
Personality: Aelvuln is a very sociable and kind person who likes to help people when he has spare time. Although his kind and lively manner can be wonderful when the topic of his father arises he grows angry and changes the subject. Also he is enjoys to spare and fight with others if he thinks that he wont be caught.
Skills: His father made him very proficient in the art of sword making. He is also average in other blacksmithing techniques. He excells in sword play because Aelvuln strived to not get caught off guard as his father did.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): \http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/1102696/azure-dark-elf/ Aelvuln is a 6"1 dark elf with stone grey skin and platinum hair with white highlights. He wears a blue scarf covering his mouth and a Bright blue vest with black lined patters decorating it. On the bottom of the shirt there is a gold button forged by his father and given to him. Aelvuln also wears some simple dark blue linen pants and black shoes.
Any other details you wish to share about your character: The reason why he wears a scarf covering his mouth is because when he was young he stood to close to the anvil his father was working on. When his father went to plung the sword into the water instead it cut his sons face by his mouth.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer: I run towards the wood elf child and ask "Are you okay, and could you tell me why they are bothering you?" The child replies " I was going to look for some mushrooms for my mother's stew she was cooking when they just came up and shoved me into the ground for no reason and yes i am ok." I turn to confront the high elves who are now laughing. I exclaim "Leave now or you shall face the wrath of Aelvuln Fiame." After I say this the high elves then proceed to laugh even harder now as if i told i joke. One of them exclaims "Hah, Im supposed to be afraid of you? Come on i have seen these trees look more menacing than you!" I then proceed to draw my sword while saying "I shall try not to maim you too badly." The high elves now see the that I am serious and decide to take me on. One of them steps forward i thrust at his chest , but he deflects my blow. In the next few seconds we exchange hits. Eventually i end up slicing his lower leg the high elf then shouts "I am done, please no more." I then sheath my sword and escort the child back to town.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses infront of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: I proceed to pick up the old man and give him his walking stick back. He then says "Please just take what you want and leave me alone." I simply reply "I am only here to help I dont want your money." I then pick up all his coins and put them back in his bag. Afterwards I escort him back to Normandor safely to make sure he does not hurt himself once again. Before I leave the man says "Here i know you probably wont want it but I have this old sword i used to use." I look at the finely crafted sword and reply "I am very grateful and I shall accept this gift of yours one day you shall get something in return even though you may think I have helped you enough."

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer: I inspect his carrige for the goods that lie inside it. I spot some wierd vials full of bioluminescent liquids and boxes that rattle and shake when i pick them up. He describes each item i look interested in. After minutes of searching i find set of swords that are all glowing with a wierd light. I pick out one that is a steel blade with diamond encrusted edges and ask what this is. He says "That is a unique sword crafted by one of your own. Its called The Mountain Trimmer, I know not very creative 'ay. That one costs around 1200 coins." I exclaim "But i only have 800 on me" The merchant in return says "Well since i can see your and honest man you can have it for 800 coins ,but can you give me something special in return?" I ponder this tempting offer then I reply "Once i get my blacksmith shop i can sell you some swords I make for a special price." The merchant hastily replies "Well i have to say that we have a deal."

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

Answer: Thorhud examines the bridge, and doesnt feel very safe. He's going to need those diamonds for his collections. Thorhud then realises: "If theres a bridge to this diamond deposit, why hasnt anyone collected it if they've built a bridge?" Thorhud believes its becuase the bridge was never stable to begin with. Thorhud then sits down and rustles through his pack, and grabs his sturdy crossbow, and alot of rope. He then takes aim at a rockface above the diamond seposit, and fires a blot attached to some rope. As the bolt catches in the rock, Thorhud yanks at it to insure its secured properly. he then attaches another crossbow bolt onto the other end of the rope, and fires it into the rocks above him, and then tests the rope again. He then grabs hold of the rope, and puts most of his weight onto the rope, and begins crossing the bridge, holding the rope with both hands, dumping all but his most important equipment behind on his side.

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?

Answer: Thorhud Immediatly Swigs a last gulp of the ale, and gets up, with his handle on his axe by his side.
He Unsheaths it, and blocks the path of one of them, the one with the knife.
"I suggest ye drop the knife and get yerselves another drink." Thorhud Says as he stares at them. The dwarf without the knife places his hand on a shortsword, hidden by his cloak. Thorhud Immediatly Shifts his axe's blade 90 degrees, brushing the axe blade against the Knife Wielder's Stomach. "I Insist" Thorhud Growls at them both. The other one then lets go of his sword and starts walking back to his table, shortly before the knife weilder sits back down as well. Thorhud then continues to watch them with his ale in hand.

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

As Thorhud Smells the ale, he is overwhelmed with the desire to drink his favorite type of ale: The Silver Inning Ale.
He fondly remembers the last time he drank it, just before he last set out for his expeditions. He begins walking into the nearby tavern with a look of serenity on his face. He walks into the bar and drops his pouch of minas onto the counter. "How much for Three Silver Innings?!" He Exclaims happily with a smile on his mouth and in his eyes.

Full Name: Rune Jackson Fireheart
Current Age: 23
Sub-race None
Past / History

My childhood was... sub-par at best. At the beginning it was good, see my dad told me long time ago my great great great grandfather was contacted by a Daemon, though the story was fuzzy and he did not give many details the gist is this, He completed a quest to destroy an unholy forge for the Daemon, who rewarded my grandfather with the information to make a more powerful forge then most. He made his own name, Fireheart and made a forge with the knowledge he gained. For generations the Firehearts had been blacksmiths. It was just me and my dad, since my Mom died in a battle or war, or something, I don’t know, Dad would not talk about it... He had taught me how to use a forge and I was getting pretty good until our name was permanently put into the dirt. My Dad was a good man, albeit a bit Fire and Brimstone when it came to religion.

Then when I turned 17 a great storm came and blew a huge chunk out of the house, and when we fixed it up, we found my the First Firehearts Journal, which showed that He didn’t make contact with the Daemon and Destroy the forge, He did something horrible.. He had practiced dark arts or consulted with an undead mage, He didn’t say how he learned to make it but
He made something which burned souls from the nether as a fuel. In the book he called it the “Soul Conduit” and found a way to hide the taint that slipped through the forge by putting it into the winds.

This went against the fundamentals of our religion and we were in a very religious village. The town hall was a makeshift church, and while no one was required to go, if you did not then you don't have much of a chance of living in the village without the entire town staring daggers into your back. Not that my dad needed the motivation to do this It is funny, the last thing me and my Dad did before that book was found was Dad buying me some church clothes, Then the villagers came in the night and marked all of our clothes with the mark of the Creeper. Making us lepers among them. The mark in our village means that we are sinners of the highest category. That book destroyed the bit of the Firehearts that were left. We were not a big family and now we were hunted down, blamed for everything that happened in town, I ran before I was killed and haven’t seen my dad since. I have been walking ever since, only stopping for a Tavern and when someone is in danger, having only the church clothes that my dad gave me all those long years ago.... Trying to find a real Daemon, I honestly don’t know why at this point... in the pit of my gut I feel that if I could do what the first Fireheart did in the stories, rather than what he did for real, maybe my name will be worth something for once.

Ambitions for the Future: To redeem his family name by making contact with a Daemon and completing the quest given to me

Personality: Semi Optimistic, Honorable, And a pinch Paranoia when it comes to new people due to past

Skills: Was an apprentice smith until the truth of the Fireheart Forge was discovered, OK with a sword but better with an anvil, A Photographic memory, and a little bit of tailoring (From having to re size and patch the clothes he has been wearing for years...

Appearance: Sadly due to some errors, I will post the image on photo bucket http://s1275.beta.ph...4a7588.png.html

Any other details you wish to share about your character: Though my family was religious.. I am not so much anymore, I do stop by churches sometimes... When I can... Not as much as I should..

____

Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: Something tells me in the back of my mind that I shouldn’t deal with that guy... Screw it!
Guards!
*Pulls out a sword and he a dagger*
*Shady guy then throws a bag of Minas into the street, causing a feeding frenzy with the local beggars*
Me: Um, well this is, I got to get out of here!
*Runs for the crowd*
Me: Ow, Hey, watch it, Thank the Creator I am out of that mess, lets hope I lost him.
*Man arrives out of the crowd*
Shady Man: No witnesses.
Me: Looks like I have no choice... Let do it!
*Blades clash time and again, as the dance of dodging and attacking begins*
Me Thinking: Ok My dad only taught me one move, How to get the weapon out of the opponent's hand, Umm what was it ag.. *Blade nearly cuts his jugular* Wow, that was to close.. Right now I have to move left and duck! Now stab his hand!
*Gets stabbed but stabs the Shady mans hand. Both cry out in pain.*
Me: Medic
*My vision darkens... Then I wake up in the guard tower*
Guard: He is waking up... Do you know how lucky you are right now? Good thing that the crowd settled down when they did otherwise you would not have made it. That gash was nearly the end of you.
Me: Does this mean that I can get a good bed for the night, maybe in a hotel...
Guard: umm sure... I see what I can do for you
Me: I am going back to sleep now...

Answer: I remain calm and do not jump to battle, besides I doubt I could take on the bandits unless I could jump them. I Could sneak up behind them and kill the first one, but how? That armor does look like it is weaker in the back, poor saps the smith who made that for them scammed them by only making the back tough enough to stop a dull blade, a sharp one like mine could kill them. But how do I get to them without making a sound, there are twigs everywhere! Wait... I got an idea...
Me: Hey Bandits!
Bandit 1: What! Where did this rat come from.. No matter first we deal with him then the old man..
Bandit 2:Yeah.. That's a real nice sword he has there...
Me: Wait! What if I told you that your armor is defective?
Bandit 2: it is.... wel..
Bandit 1: Don’t listen to him, he is just stalling. Let’s kill him now and be done with it.
Me: I can prove it! Just listen!
Bandit 2: I think we should, it seems like the rat is telling the truth, besides if he is not, then we can just kill him. How is it defective?
Me: Your back plating is.. Well to put it lightly, crap. You are so vulnerable to an attack from behind that a dead man with a sharpened cheese knife could do you in. Just let me reforge and in exchange you let me and the old man go.
Bandit 1: You’re not even considering this are you?
Bandit 2: Yes I am, If you want some hero to come along and kill you be stabbing you in the back, that is fine by me. I want to live, but in case you're not telling the truth, I am taking the old man as collateral.
Me: Deal, I guess.
*After a long reforging process in the closest forge...*
Me: Now I warn you it is going to be heavier than when you last had it on, so I recommend not robbing anyone until you two get a feel for the additional weight. It might throw you off balance.
Bandit 2: It feels fine, now lets get before the next patrol comes by.
*They leave*
Old man: Thanks for saving my life, but why did you make them more dangerous just for an old man like me
Me: I didn’t, I know a bit about how to tailor, so I loosened the leather straps and made the armor weaker in the lower waist, they have about I would say... 3 days before that stuff falls apart. Just in case here is my last Minas, go to town and rent a room there, and be safe, Take care!
*Runs off*

Answer: I would walk up to the stand his collection of metals. He would show me a colorful display of iron from the different areas, then I would notice that one of them is better than the rest with my keen eye for metal I would notice that it was, while not impressive on the outside, a rare metal that is easier to sharpen and is quite useful. This is how you reduce a price on metal with an unknowing merchant:

Me: Hmm.... It doesn’t seem there is anything of real value here, at least when making a weapon... I do need some cheap iron to weight my boots down with.. Hmm... *Points at the rare metal* That one will do.
Merchant: That will be 50 Minas (Just to note, that is ⅓ of the real price)
Me: No way, this hunk of junk barely passes for iron fillings for shoes., it might as well be gold when it comes to strength, 20 Minas,
Merchant: Nothing on my stand is junk! 40 Minas!
*I notice another iron that is really flexible, when crafted by a master it is a good light armor, and an apprentice can use it to get deals*
*Bend the metal while he is watching*
Merchant: waaa..
Me: Want me to do this with your customers watching... (Yells) Hey everyone!
Merchant: 30 Minas
Me: Sold!
*A group gathers*
Man 1: What is it?
Me: umm, his deals are great.... He he he....
*Walk away in shame,*
Thinking: At least I got this bad boy, and at a steal too... Wait a minute... That was nearly all my money right there... How am I supposed to get the rest of the materials and find a forge, Or eat for that matter. Darn it.... Maybe I can find a dwarf somewhere to sell this too....

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): I was born in Karic, the capitol, where I was raised by my mother, Reania, and my father, Drein. I was always a strong dwarf although I was short compared to other dwarfs. I was always fascinated with the monstrous caverns dug by our great ancestors. I loved to explore them with some food, my pickaxe, and my axe, which was given to me by my father at the age of 1/3 of a season, 2 years. My parents loved me but loved my sister more. She was the smart one, the pretty one. I was angered by this but I burned my anger, and any excess energy, in the mines working the stone. Thus I grew strong muscles and a stern determination.

My mother and father presented me with my first beard jewel when I turned the age of 2 seasons and I wear it to this day. This is how i got my name "Opalbeard". I grew fast and was a friend to all with my many talents including mining, smithing, and drinking ale. In KalAlras i met great smith of the name, Greegan Smiter and he taught me as his apprentice. I worked hard for him and learned many secrets of the ore. I smelted lots and grew experienced in the ways of the smith. I always protected my friends and loved them as brothers. By the time I was the age of 3 seasons I had a good reputation and a strong sense of honor. First clan, then family, then myself.

Ambitions for the Future: To make the race of dwarves great and to expand our holds with many precious materials. I want my name to be broadcasted across the land as one of the greatest dwarves of all time.
Personality: I am a strong dwarf, thanks to my mining as a kid, I love a good glass of ale. I am good at solving problems and I am quick thinking. I am agile and well built. I am loving and caring to my friends and family.
Skills: Drinking, mining, smithing, and settling problems.

____

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

Answer: As I saw the ore I knew I must have it. I studied the bridge with distaste, somone could use a few lessons in construction. I reinforced the bridge with stone from my bag and wooden support beams. As I crossed the new bridge with my beard swinging by my chest I tested the bridge with my weight and found it stable except for a few spots which i quickly patched up. where I mined the ore and picked it up. I looked back across and saw my handiwork my heart swelled as I thought of the honor and ale back home.

Answer: As I saw this I knew I had to stop them. "Oy, wha' d' yeh' thin' yer' doin'?" One replied. "We were jus' about to teach this young boy 'ere a lesson about bein' a real dwarf." I replied, "With yer' dagger? Come now an' have an ale, then we can talk like real dwarves." The men looked suspicious and questioned me further. “He needs to shu’ up and be respec’ful of the others in this bar.” Several others were looking now and I recognised the need for a quick soloution. “Look guys this is not how we should be acting. The nigh’ is young and we are arguin’, hav’ an ale and drink. Leave the youngin’ alone.” They wearn’t happy about it but in the end they did as I asked.

Answer: As I walked over to the man I thought to myself, “Eh it’s the end of the day, I need a goo’ refresher.” The man asked what I wanted to drink and I ordered my favorite, a Three Sided Moon. The man and I talked for hours about the caverns, great sagas, our lives, and his many adventures as a young dwarf. I liked his many stories and lessons. He taught me many tales of heroes of old, as well as a good bar tune or two.

b]In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character: Full Name: William
Current Age:34
Sub-race (if any): northerners
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): When he was a lad he grew up in a cabin in the north with his family. They had the only good farmland for miles around. They lived near a small village, not large enough to be recognized by any map makers. He grew up with his family of 3 sisters and 2 brothers, and his best and only friend, Ian a local boy who dreamed every day of joining the militia. William dreamed of becoming an adventurer and exploring. He wasn’t your average northerner. Instead of being large and muscular, he, not skinny, but not the biggest. He practiced in all his spare time to become proficient with a dagger and bow. He went through this pattern until he became the age of 16 where he and Ian(who had the same birthday as he) we sent to join the militia. The walk was long and took 2 days. on the first night they set up camp on the top of a hill. Will lit the fire while Ian sparred with a tree. That night Will asked Ian a question. “Do you think we’ll be sent off to war while we’re there?”
“I hope so.”
“Why?”
“Because I want to fight!”
“I hope they let me use my bow.”
“Why so you can stay behind and not get hurt? Ha you’re a wimp.” So after that comment Will decided to go to bed in his tent. In the middle of the night he heard a rustling noise. He went out of his tent to find three wolves prowling the area. Ian must have heard it too because he came bumbling out of his tent. The wolves pounced and in a flash they were attacking Ian. Will quickly grabbed his bow and some arrows. He drew his bow back and steadied his breathing. He released the string and heard the comforting sound of a thwack of the strings. A wolf howled in pain as it fell over on its side. The second wolf pounced, and in seconds was in his face. Will was too quick for the wolf, for he had already drawn his dagger and was waiting for the wolf to impale itself as it landed. It did, but the wolf thrashed about and clawed his arm. By this time Ian had already grabbed his sword and killed the other wolf. He came over and said “I should never have doubted how brave you are” Will wanted so bad just to punch him right then and there but he waited for Ian to finish. ” I’m sorry, we should get a move on.”

“I could not agree more” So off they went to the town where they joined the militia and served for 5 years there. They did not get into any wars and managed to stay low until it was all over. They returned home to their small village to find Ian’s family had been murdered, and the house burned. Will ran to his house to check on his family. He got there and the house was okay, but there were strange people inside. He saw one had a club and was swinging it around. Will quickly grabbed his bow from his pack and drew it back. He slowly crept up by the house and saw that they were attacking his family. Will did something he never hoped he would have to do. He shot the man with the club straight in the back, and the man fell over instantly. There was a scream from a woman. He recognized it was his sister Megan. He went over to see her cowering in the corner behind the man he just killed.
“Thank you whoever you are”
“Do you truly not remember me?”
“Nay but your voice sounds familiar”
“Well I have been gone some years but I did not think i would be forgotten.”
“Tell me your name and maybe I will remember, or pull down that hood.” So he did. There was another scream, but this time of joy. This one was so loud that his brothers and his father came in running from the fields. The first thing they saw was Megan being hugged, and assumed she was being attacked, but as soon as they turned the corner they dropped their pitchforks and ran to hug their newly returned Megan how to use a knife in case this ever happened again. as this was all happening Ian came jogging over the hill. He saw will with his family and became jealous. He went to the local tavern. He had a little too much to drink. Will walked into the tavern with his sister Megan. They sat down to talk about the farm and what had happened while he was gone. Ian came over and picked up Megan and in a slurred voice said “your brotha is a whimp an couln kell a sowl if his worthless life dpendee on I ” She tried to shake free but he wasn’t letting go. Will stood up and looked Ian right in the eyes and said,
“shut up, and put my sister down, Ian you’re drunk and you lost your family”
“yu gona marke me you skiny puke”
“If you don’t put her down right now I will”
“corm at me you little wimp” So he did will ran up and punched Ian right in the nose. Ian dropped megan and clutched his newly bleeding nose. The next day Ian came to the house and apologized. “I’m sorry I was drunk” he turned to Megan “Your brother is not a wimp. on our first night away we were attacked by wolves. They took me by surprise and your brother killed the first two as they were attacking me.” So then Will helped Ian build a new house. Years went by and they both got married. Will’s wife died in birth of their first son. Will’s son was killed by some robbers, and now he lives alone.

We get into the conversation a while. he clearly knows a lot about the weapon. Eventually he acknowledges me for the same, and he makes me an offer. 250$ for a new willow bow. I say “sir i’m from a poor town, I need a new bow but I also have to buy new wood for our house. I’m willing to give you 50$ for that bow.” He laughs and offers 200. I tell he wants to get rid of this bow.I say,” sir that is a very nice bow but that is an outrageous price i’ll give you 75$”. He goes down to 125$ and I think, I wonder why he wants to get rid of it so much. I notice the guard catch the eye of the bow and alert some others and they start heading towards the stall. I say “you know what sir i don’t think i’m interested anymore.”

Role-playing: Role play is the art of creating and developing a character, and stepping into the shoes of that persona. It is the immersive act of thinking from the perspective of another person entirely, putting aside your own identity to take on the identity of someone removed from yourself.
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is, in the context of a role play, the use of information by a character that was not acquired by that character, especially to that character's advantage. The knowledge of the player and the character are separate things, and it is best to keep it that way.
Power-emoting: Power-emoting is the practice of wording the actions of one's characters in such a way that the recipient of those actions can do nothing to change them. For example, emoting, "I kill the man in front of me" is power-emoting, since I have simply given this man a death sentence, and any attempt to circumnavigate that on the part of the target would be perceived as more power-emoting. A good way to avoid this is by wording actions differently. "I attempt to kill the man in front of me" is a far better way to emote the same action, while adding only one word.

In-Character Information:

Full Name: Junidth Eryl Walai
Current Age: 122 years
Sub-race (if any): High elf

Past / History (I know this is long. Sorry if that's an issue; I sometimes go a little overboard.):
Junidth was born to a relatively well-off family in Haelun'or, being the second daughter of her parents. Though there were benefits to having some wealth in the High Elf society, there was one thing about Junidth that kept her from being truly happy: her albinism.

Junidth's strange appearance made her kind look upon her with, at best, uncomfortable curiosity, and at worst outright contempt. She was often seen as lesser, tainted, or something similar, since she lacked the bronzed skin and blonde hair that her family almost universally had. Many were put off by her piercing red gaze, and others shunned her simply because she was different.

Because of this, Junidth grew up relatively alone, not having any real friends to call her own save for the servants who would always keep her company. She was content in her solitude, not needing to bother with other people.

That changed when her family expressed interest in a rather successful local tailor, by the name of Yuselt. He was not opposed to developing relations with them, however he was reluctant to make any real deals, since he did not see anything of theirs that he wanted. However, one day while visiting the home, Yuselt saw Junidth wandering the halls, and his interest was piqued.

He made an offer to her family, one they could not refuse. Not a week afterward, Junidth found herself being suddenly whisked away from her home for the last time, taken to Yuselt's home. There she was hastily dressed in a formal gown, and taken into a room filled with many people. She was lead down an aisle between rows of seats, toward an altar where Yuselt and a priest stood. On the spot, the priest "affirmed the vows of this newly wedded couple".

Junidth's forced marriage was only made worse when she found that the legal documents used to join them together were specifically designed that should she ever leave the marriage, she would be criminally punished. Junidth could only sit by in horror as her quiet life was ripped away from her.

Her new life consisted of but three things she was expected to do: look pretty, obey her husband, and be silent unless spoken to. Junidth quickly found that trying to do anything else only earned Yuselt's wrath, where he would verbally and physically abuse her. At first it was a simple irritated snap. Then it was an insult. It soon turned to red-faced screaming. Before long it became slaps, pushes, hair grabs. At the peak of his anger, Yuselt would often beat Junidth to unconsciousness, ignoring or perhaps even encouraging her screams.

It wasn't long before her continued treatment became too much for Junidth to bear. She searched for any escape she could find, but she saw only two real ways out of this: her death, or her husband's. She knew that her family would never allow the contract that kept a steady cash flow coming their way to end, and she could not simply leave the marriage, for she would be punished and returned to her husband.

However, she could not simply kill Yuselt. That would lead to things far worse than the contract's, or her husband's, punishments. So Junidth contemplated over and over that which she felt she had no choice but to do.

When Yuselt took her on a business trip, Junidth searched desperately for a moment of privacy in which to take her own life, but none came. Despair flooded her, and she thought it would never end. However, just when she thought that her hopes had been dashed forever, she saw the chance that would likely never come again.

On clear, starry night, Junidth heard the sounds of Yuselt leaving the tent. She was, for once, alone, as he thought she was asleep. Quickly she got up, and searched desperately for something with which to do the deed. She found nothing suitable that would make it happen fast enough, and so she took a look outside the tent. Her heart skipped two beats when she spied the sheer cliff that was not even fifty yards away.

She stole over to its edge...but right before she dove off the edge, she hesitated. Was this really the only way to do this? Did she have no other choice? As her thoughts conflicted with themselves, she heard a voice next to her that made her jump out of her skin.

"You know, I've never seen you in the moonlight. It makes you look alluring." Turning, she saw Yuselt standing beside her, gazing at her. There was a pause. "It is a shame we are not having this meeting at night. You would be quite distracting to my business partners' ambitions." With that, a cold wave of anger froze Junidth on the spot. The one time he had the mind to say something nice, to compliment her, and he could think only of how it would benefit him. Her gaze remained as neutral as she could manage, while he walked closer. He made a move to reach around Junidth's body...

To this day, Junidth is not sure what exactly happened. She might have stepped aside, she might have pushed him...all she knew with any certainty is that in that moment, she was looking down the cliff with an expression of shock fixed upon her face as she watched Yuselt free-fall toward the canyon below.

When later asked what had happened, Junidth told the escort that Yuselt had simply slipped and fallen from the cliff's edge. The tears streaming down her cheeks and her shaking voice made it easy for them to believe her, as any wife would be distraught at the sudden death of her husband.

However, they were wrong.

The tears and stammering were not in grieving. They conveyed something deeper: her sudden, new-found happiness.

For the first time in her life, Junidth was free, truly free to live her life as she saw fit.

Ambitions for the Future:
Junidth's plans for the future largely involve reclaiming the life she once had. This involves a number of things, but primarily she focuses on getting a source of income, independent of the family to which she has cut ties. She also wishes to explore and develop the latent magical ability she has discovered within herself, but still has no idea how to channel or control.

Personality:
Junidth is a kind person, but very cautious and slow to trust. Her experiences with comparative strangers has made her difficult to approach, but if one can display undeniable evidence of honesty then she becomes much more open. She has an inherent dislike of the way high elves hold themselves above other beings, and treats it as a sort of bigotry that she takes every opportunity to fix, trying to educate those ignorant enough to see only the differences between themselves and another.

Skills:
Despite her rather troubled younger life, Junidth was well-educated. Being tutored by a private instructor, she learned all the basics quite easily, and hungered for more. She was then given higher education, something her older sister never bothered with. She focused her attention on learning the intricacies of business, especially the marketing and negotiating aspects of the process. At the same time, she did not abandon her body, and trained in basic exercises to keep a degree of athleticism and dexterity in the process.

As of late, Junidth has discovered that she has the spark that makes magic possible, but she still knows not how to use it, and that is one of her goals to learn.

Appearance:
Junidth is an albino, a rare thing for High Elves. Her skin is extremely pale, and quite sensitive to exposure to sunlight. Her hair is totally white, and quite long, reaching down to the middle of her back, and covering all but the tips of her rather long ears. Her eyes are bright red, and often described as frighteningly piercing.

Her garb varies depending on the occasion, but should she have nothing special going on she will most often wear a strapless, neckless red dress, with gold trim and detached sleeves. The skirt has a parting down the middle, making mobility in it much easier than usual, while still keeping a good degree of modesty.

Any other details you wish to share about your character:

Junidth was originally created for a different setting. However, after reading the lore on high elves and their attitudes toward other races, I felt it would be relatively easy and appropriate to make some changes to her story to accommodate the new setting.

Open-Response-Questions
____

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer:
Taking a relaxing stroll through the woods near her home, Junidth is lost in thought. It takes her a moment to notice a strange sound: laughing and hushed voices. She moves toward the sound and comes to a clearing, where three High Elves are surrounding a young Wood Elf child. He is crying, and Junidth can hear what they're saying. "Dirty freak." "Leaf-skin." "Why don't you go marry a tree?"

After a short moment to calm herself from the outrageous display in front of her, Junidth steps forward and clears her throat. The other elves turn to look at her. One of them sneers. "Oh look, another freak. Here to whine at us?" Junidth sighs. "Your words are harsh. There is no reason to be so cruel to such a young child before he has the chance to know the true nature of this world." This makes the target of her words pause, which Junidth uses to continue. "You use this boy's misery to somehow raise yourself above him, but by doing so you fall lower than a worm. If you wish to retain any dignity, I suggest you walk away."

There's a short silence before one of the High Elves speaks up. "She has a point. Better to save our words for one who truly deserves them." A reluctant nod from the other two, and they walk off in silence. The boy smiles weakly at Junidth, nodding in thanks before running off. Satisfied, Junidth continues her walk.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer:

On another one of her relaxing walks through the forest, Junidth happens to be passing nearby a small human village. There aren't many people who live there, but she knows them to be a friendly community, and sometimes pays a visit there. While passing by the village, she sees an elder man who lives in the village, one who she knows tends to keep to himself for the most part. As she smiles and nods in greeting, he does the same, but is cut short when his foot catches on a rock buried in the path, and he falls to the ground with a cry of pain, coins spilling from his purse.

For a moment, Junidth can't help but stare at the glittering currency. Since cutting ties to her family, she's had to start from scratch financially, and so despite her conscience screaming at her the temptation to simply take they money and leave is strong. However, a groan of pain snaps her out of her stupor and brings her back to reality. She couldn't simply take something like that. It would plague her forever.

Bending down, Junidth grasps the man's shoulders, and lifts him up onto his feet. He's shaking, and has a bloody nose, but it able to stand up under his own power, mostly. "Are you alright?" she says, and he nods shakily. "Y-yes, I should be f-fine..." Junidth frowns. "I'm not entirely sure. Let's take you to your village." He nods again. "That s-sounds like a good idea..."

Having forgotten completely about the coins on the ground, Junidth helps the old man limp back to the village, not leaving his side until she knows he's in good hands.

Answer:

A well-enunciated, loud voice calls Junidth out of her thoughts as she travels along. "Ho there, traveler! Care to see something interesting?" She looks to the source, and sees a carriage with a man standing outside. His words pique her interest, and she goes over to him. She listens as he explains what he was talking about. "I am a traveling merchant, and my main sources of income are travelers much like yourself. I have a wide selection of items available, though my specialty lies more with trinkets than basic supplies. Would you care to see if anything is of interest to you? If an item is a little out of your price range I am willing to lower its selling value." Junidth thinks over the merchant's offer. She isn't in immediate need of anything that she could think of, but her array of personal possessions has diminished greatly since Yuselt's death. Deciding to give herself a little something, she smiles and says, "I'd love to." With a big grin on his face the merchant takes out a large number of boxes from his carriage, opening each one in turn.

Most of the items that he shows to Junidth are well-made, but not particularly eye-catching. Deciding that she'd rather not carry around something unwieldy, she asks to see the man's jewelry. He nods and brings out a large box with several layered shelves in it. She looks through the many glittering pieces, admiring their quality, but soon a particular item stands out and she cannot draw her attention away: a golden brooch with an emerald embedded in the center. She takes it out of the box, her eyes glued to it. Something about the brooch reminds her of something...and then she remembers. In the days when she actually had some semblance of happiness, she would often spend a lot of time with a particular human named Brielt. She was one of the maids at her home, and after her duties she would often visit Junidth's room, where they would spend time talking. Her friendship with the girl was cut short when she found out that Brielt had taken a bad fall from a stair, and died. Tears came to her eyes as she remembered the girl's golden blonde hair, and the dark green eyes. That's what had drawn her to the brooch.

She blinked away the tears and asked the merchant how much it would cost. Upon hearing the price, her heart sank. It was more than double what she was able to spare for any trinket. "I...I am sorry. I simply cannot afford to pay that much. She sighed, and began to put the brooch back when she heard him speak again. "I did say I was willing to lower the price, did I not? How much can you afford?" She mentioned her limit, and he tapped his chin, thinking. "That would be a slight loss on the brooch..." He smiles. "But I can see that it has touched you somehow, and happiness is worth all the gold in the world. You have a deal." With an uplifted heart, Junidth retrieved her coin-purse, and handed over the designated amount. "Thank you so much, sir. This means more than you know." With a wise smile, he replies, "Oh, I believe I do know, miss." Barely able to focus on the exchange any more, Junidth bids the merchant farewell before continuing on with her travels.

Author's note:

I'd like to thank Ben for pointing out what was needed in the open-response questions. It wasn't terribly clear what the purpose of them was, and your explanation really helped.

I also didn't include the price of the item on Question 3 because I couldn't find the wiki page that had the currency, or the expected prices for things of that manner. If I missed it entirely then I apologize.

Answer: Quickly head back to the surface to retrieve my diamond pickaxe, then retrace my steps back to the deposit. Once I get back, I carefully and slowly cross the bridge and collect the deposit. After I collect the deposit, I go straight to the surface and put away my new fortune so that I do not loose it.

Answer: Continue drinking my ale unless the situation becomes dangerous to my or somebody else's health. If the older dwarves aren't bringing harm to anyone, I shouldn't stop drinking my ale, it's not worth the time and effort. Although, if the older dwarves do proceed to make the situation.. bloody.. then I will promptly charge the one with a dagger, and give him a good concussion. Bar-owner: 5 minas, please.

After scrambling over everything in her house try to find her, she found her body. Dead. Her mother and father both dead. She could not believe it. Everything she had known is gone. She quickly went to grab her father's quarterstaff, which she had become proficient in her short life, from under her father bed, she then quickly scrambled over to her desk, knowing the bandits might not be far behind, she looked quickly to see if any of her fathers books or scrolls had survived the ransacking of her house. All gone but his journal, she quickly grabbed it, grabbed a handful of dried venison and ran out the door, looking for the road her father always told her to stay away from.

She saw a lantern swinging next tot an ox drawn cart. She was not sure that unexpected visitors would be welcome on the dwarvern trading caravan, so she quickly snuck on top of the main wagon and after hours of waiting, finally fell asleep. She was wakened suddenly when she heard a gruff voice speak broken elven, she was barely able to regain her senses when she was tossed to the ground with large metal boot keeping her down. Her limited studies hindered her ability to understand them, but she was able to get a general idea of what they were saying. They thought she was a thief. She tried to explain to them her predicament but they would not listen. After spending a night in what she though was a jail, the was tossed out of what looked like a city, at least what she thought one looked like. She stared mystified by the great city. But she knew she had to go, or risk further confrontation. She started off the other way looking in her pack. They were respectful enough to leave her bow, quarterstaff, and a note. It read "From a friend of the elves", below it there was enough food to last her a trip to the elven city. She started off knowing this luck will not last. She was not hindered by the death of her family, but she wondered if the god her father believed in existed, and if it did, why would it let something like this happen? But she continued, knowing her father would want something better for her. She trudged through rain, snow, and lightning, with the memory of her parents driving her on, never giving up...

Ambitions for the Future: She hopes to understand what her father believed in, but continues to live off the land on her trip to her kin's city, slowly reading through her fathers journal, thinking it might be something more.

Personality:She trusts people to heavily, but is resilient and trustworthy herself. Living in seclusion has caused her to be very naive and clueless, she is not the brightest elf.

Skills:She is proficient with the bow and a novice with the quarterstaff, she is good at Cooking but never liked the idea of farming.

Appearance: Tall for a dark elf with long white/silver hair. Her eyes are like purple lavender orbs, an inner fire can be seen when looking at her. She likes to wear looser fitting clothes so she doesn't burden herself when trying to catch prey.

I plan to change the hair at a later date.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer: Vierna slowly approaches from behind a tree, she silently observes the mocking, not truly understanding what is going on. After figuring out that the small elf does not like the way the other elves are treating her, Vierna moves in next to the child, after putting her arm around the child's shoulder Vierna says with authority, "Are you bothering this child?", At first the other elves laugh thinking that such a young elf could do anything to stop them. Realizing this, Vierna walks off again back into the tree line. After another minute of observing, she knocks an arrow and takes aim at the tree directly behind the tallest elf. She looses the arrow and it lands right behind the elf. After seeing the shocked expression of the elves and after seeing one of the closest elves sprint off, she knows that her work is done and that the child will be safe, she strides off back into the forest.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the groundand splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: After watching for a while, she realizes that the man will not get back up alone, she quickly and quietly moves to collect the coins, and places them back into the pouch, after propping the man up next to a tree, gives him a bit of water and leaves a small bit of her food next to him, knowing that she still needs food to finish her journey knowing that she can not do much more for the old man, she takes a coin as payment and continues off into the shadows of the tress, feeling guilty for what she just did. For the next few nights, she is haunted by a nightmare where the old man is one coin short of buying food, and she know if she ever meets the man again, she will repay him, if she remembers...

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do?

Answer: As she walks up the the cart, she tries to stand taller, but clumsily trips on a root of a nearby tree, making a fool of herself. After walking up the the now laughing trader, she asks what it will cost for enough food to last a few days. Knowing that the elf seems desperate, he starts off at a very high price of 20 minas. knowing she cannot afford that, she tries to lower the price to 9 minas, she begs desperately, the trader responds by raising it to 25 minas or she will have to go hungry. She takes out her bow and knowing that she is likely to catch more that she could buy, strides off into the forest, hoping for the game to be abundant at this type of year, knowing that the winter snow will drive many away.

Loup wasn't aware of the dangers of this world. Until he parents were murdered. She was only 7 at the time. As they were resting in a forest, rustling was heard from the leaves. Loup stood up, delicately getting hold of her specially made bow, made by her father. She pullet an arrow from under her pillow. As she strung it with ease, she walked out bait into the forest. She climbed up a tree and looked down on their campsite. There was a dark figure, heading towards the quickly made straw beds of her parents. She watched the man sheath a long, sliver sword. He grabbed her mothers hair, waking her from her sleep. He snarled and whispered something to her mother. She yelped and he then slashed his sword at her neck. Her head fell to the ground in a bloody mess. She strung the arrow and jumped down from her low perch and then fired the arrow. The man was too fast, moving to the side and letting the arrow pierce her fathers head. "NO!" Loup screamed. She looked around, terrified. She searched for a way to escape. She ran backwards, grabbing her stack of arrows and sack of food and then ran off into the woods.

From there, her life was miserable. She couldn't get over killing her own father. She led life on the run, paranoid that her mothers murderer was out for her. Thats when she came across there lands. Still on the run..

b]1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperors palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?b]

Answer: I look around, alittle nervous. I wonder for a moment, if I shout will he kill me? But if I don't he'll for sure kill the Emperor. After a second of nerve wrecking I decide to run as fast as I can to the closet guard. I look around and run over to the guard. The dark-clothed figure is now about to enter the Emperors palace. I say "Theres a man, I think he will kill the Emperor." The guard looks around to his fellow guards and they run off. I smile to myself as I walk away, proud that I have helped.

b]2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?b]

Answer: "Hey!" I shout. "What are you doing?!" I continue. As the bandits ignore me I walk closer. I glance at my armor and then decide to put my iron longsword away. I cough to get the bandits attention. "S'cuse me dear sirs, me and my grandfather would like to go for our walk." I smile with a flip of my hair. "We can show you were we store our money if you like. Just don't hurt us,w e want to go for a walk. Follow me if you will.." I say this, my tone slightly frightened. I begin to lead them to the closest fast-flowing river. I sit down and begin padding my hands on the grass. "Hmm it must be here somewhere.." I say as I pick up a big rock. I throw the rock at the disoriented bandits just hitting one in the eye. He falls back with a yelp and then lays there unconscious. I draw my longsword and put it up to the others throat. The old man, who had long hobbled back to his cottage to hide was safe and the fats flowing river was a perfect place to throw the body of an unconscious bandit in. The other i'd rather not go into detail. { ;D}

b]3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. Answer: "I'll buy ten bread for five coins." The man raises a brow. "Eight coins." He replies with scorn in his voice. "Seven coins." I reply. "Ten coins." He replies. "Why do you make it higher when we could've settled on six coins?" I raise a brow confused. The man walks out from behind the stall and puts an arm around my waist. "Ahh, wouldn't you like to know.." As I don't notice he pickpockets me and I sigh, walking away without making a deal. At the next stall, I make a deal for six coins. As I reach for my pouch I find it gone. I look back to the stall without he small man. He is gone.

Role-playing: Role playing is when "players" create their own characters and put them in a world to interact with other players. Whether they players are sitting around talking, or questing, they are still playing their respective roles.
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is letting your character use information that he or she did not learn while in character.
Power-emoting: (I've heard this called God-modding I believe) Power-emoting is, during an rp exchange, emoting the other player's movements for them. For example "Bob kicked Steve's leg, making him fall and spill his ale on Anne."

Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Amelia Dailor
Current Age: 19
Sub-race (if any): Southeron
Past /
History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Amelia was born in Ager, daughter of poor farmer and herbalist. Growing up, she didn't have many friends, so she took solace in reading and learning. She would read the same books over and over, books about religion, farming almanacs, and one in particular, a story about a noble dragon-slaying, singing, knight. She didn't want to grow up to be rescued like the princess in the story, but rather, she wanted to grow up to be just like that knight. Her love of reading increased her vocabulary and speaking skills, making her grow up to be an intelligent, wily bard.

She has a sense of honor and duty, instilled by the stories of the knight, but she is still rather naive and foolhardy at times. She doesn't like violence, but thanks to her backbreaking work on the farm growing up, she isn't totally frail and weak. She'd rather talk her way out of a fight, but should she enter one, she can at least defend herself with her fists, or a bow.

Ambitions for the Future:b] Amelia wants to help the villagers of Ager by finding a cure to the blight that ravages the land. She may never find a natural cure, but that doesn't deter her. The sickness is her dragon, and she means to slay it.
Personality:b] Smart, cautious, sly, and happy.
Skills:b] Speechcraft/Dipomacy. Bows. Very limited alchemy.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):b] She dresses for functionality and not for beauty. She simply wears traveling clothes, and a drab grey overcoat. Her short hair gets her confused with being a man from time to time, but she doesn't find offense in that. http://i.imgur.com/oK7YxLV.png?1?4549

b]1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards theEmperors palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?b]

Answer: Knowing that the brigand is out of my league if it comes to a fight, I would definitely tail him for a while, out of sight to see what he was up to. Once inside of the palace, I would do like any good bard would do. I would begin singing. Loudly. I would sing songs of glory to the man's stealth and secrecy, making sure to alert up every guard in the palace.

"Oh, Sir Nightcreeper! How dark are the shadows in which you creep? Oh Sir Nightcreeper? Within the palace as the Emperor Sleeps." With luck, at least one of the Emperor's personal guard would be around by that point. If not, he would turn to confront me, allowing me a good look at his face.

"Seen your face now," I would say, before running away from the palace, towards the first guard house I could find. If he were a good criminal, he would take that time to run very far away.

b]2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage.Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?b]

Answer: While I am all for protecting the every man, and standing up to oppression, I would never stab one of the bandits in the back, simply because I have no frame of reference or context. I am only stumbling in on the situation. The old man could very well be a thief, and the bandits themselves could just be trying to recover their things. Stranger things have happened. What I would do is put my sword away, and try to mediate the situation, as best as I could. I would pander to the bandit's sense of superiority in the situation, disarming them verbally, and I would try my hardest to speak for the unstable man. I believe that all problems can be solved without blood, and I would not let the incident boil into open combat.

b]3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do?(Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).b]

Answer: First, before trying to get anything I actually want, I would ask for the most expensive looking thing, at about half of the value that it could easily sell at any other place, only to test him. If he were a fool, or just desperate, he would sell me the expensive item for much less than it's value, and I would proceed to buy everything else that I actually wanted and needed for half their actual price, all while biting down my laughter.

Now, if he were a decent haggler, he would raise the price up a good amount for my asking price, and I would use the percentage of mark-up as a scale to price everything else.

I would buy arrows, alchemical materials, probably a patch to fix up that hole I ripped in my coat a few nights before, and I would sell the latest poetry book that I had just memorized, in order to buy another volume. I would thank the man, and then leave, with my pack full of new things.

Complete the following biography on your character:
Thorhud was born in the Aegis Dwarven city of Kal'Urguan, Around the time the dwarves demolished Fort Fairleaf. Thorhud was the only child of Glorkas Paladugan, a dwarven soldier at that time who lived in Kal'Urguan, And Bbela Afik, Who was born in Kal'Bryst, Who fled to Kal'Urguan when the nether portals first began to appear, they both settled down after Glorkas's Tour of duty was over, about a week after the Fairleaf demolition, and has a son a few years later.
Thorhud and his family were fortunate to escape to Asulon, as both of their familys were slaughtered by the undead soon before they left.
At about his time, Thorhud was 31.
His father: Glorkas, who was now 193 years old, decided to explore the new land of Asulon, and left home, rarely coming back for a few months at a time.
They soon began living in the city of Kal'Karik. Thorhud's Mother, Bbela, took up a job as a barmaid at a local tavern, and supported Thorhud while his father was away, Thorhud barely knew his father until he was an adolscent.
At about the age of 102, Thorhud's father began taking him out to see the world and the ruins of Asulon, but never took him more than a few days outside of Kal'Karik. On these small trips, Glorkas taught his son the ways of adventuring, and they were near inseperable, Glorkas taught him all he knew: From axe-wielding to trap recognization, all he had learned while in Asulon's Many Ruins and forgotten places.
Then, In the summer after Thorhud's 117th birthday, his father came home, collapsed at the doorstep. He was terribly sick with Grish. When Thorhud's Father awoke several hours later, he told him that he had been bitten by a cannibal on his trip home, and that...
Thorhud never found out, as the last breath sent from his father's mouth died in the wind, never being heard, and Glorkas' axe fell to the floor.
Thorhud, with tears in his eyes, grabbed the axe, and hugged it to himself, as the world stopped around him, as he closed his father's eyes.
AS if that wasn't enough grief, his mother soon passed away a few days later from catching Grish. Thorhud then proceeded to land himself in the gutter, with only alcohol as his ally, by Then, as fate would have it, the undead burst into the city. Thorhud was suprised, and grabbed his father's axe.
As he fought a retreating action for his life, he managed to get to one of the moored boats with a crew preparing to depart, thankfully this was a lesser used shipyard, so the undead presence was light. After holding the undead at bay for 10 minutes, they managed to get under way, and leave behind the burning city for Anthos.
After finally reaching the new city of Kal'Azgoth. Thorhud spent his last 8 years training himself in axe-wielding even further, And Also apprenticed himself to a blacksmith for the minas for basic equipment, hoping to be many times over his father, In fact, had it not been for the undead invasion, Thorhud would most likely have died in the gutter, Alone.
Full Name: Thorhud Paladugan

Current Age: 125

Sub-race (if any): Mountain Dwarf

Clan (if any): None, Last member of a Clan-less Family

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Ambitions for the Future: To reforge his family, and to be the greatest adventurer of Anthos, many times better then his father was in Asulon.
He also wishes to open a museum of his artifacts when he eventually retires, but even then, will most likely search for antiques in ruins, just not as much.

Personality:Thorhud is mostly quiet and withdrawn when he's alone, but when he's in public, then he becomes quite rowdy and much more dwarf-like. He also has a large amount of honor, even for a dwarf.

Skills: Lock-Picking (for ancient temples) Axe-weilding, and a novice black smith, also, fairly good with a crossbow, and locating traps.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Thorhud is about 3' 4", and has darker than average Red-hair. His head-hair is also long for a dwarf, he also has green eyes.

____
1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer:
Thorhud takes out his pack, and grabs a large amount of rope, as he realizes that the bridge must have been extremely Perilous at construction to deter a greedy dwarf from taking the minerals earlier. So, Thorhud grabs the rope, and ties it around the largest, secure rock nearby, and then ties it to himself, giving himself a bit of slack. He ties it around his waist and his armpits like a harness, And then grabs another, longer rope from his bag. He ties one end to his grappeling hook he brought for climbing up cliff walls to reach minerals, and throws it across the chasm a few times, until it catches firm.
"Well" Thorhud Grins "'Ere goes a bit o' Somethin'" And starts walking across the rock bridge, using both end in case the bridge begins to crumble.

Answer:
Thorhud Immediatly Swigs a last gulp of the ale, and gets up, with his handle on his axe by his side.
The other one then lets go of his sword and starts walking back to his table, shortly before the knife wielder sits back down as well. Thorhud then continues to watch them with his ale in hand

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Born in Kal'Karik- When he was 1 season old, He was enrolled into an advanced mining school, one of the best. That school went bankrupt in the middle of the school year, and no one would let any new kids in until next year. At that time, The Holy Oren Empire was having some open jobs available. Yale's dad did not know what to do, he knew Holy Oren was mostly human, but it did have some good mining mountains. The whole family decided that they would move to The Holy Oren Empire, and set up an Inn for Miners.
-Moved to The Holy Oren Empire, 1 1/2 seasons-

It was when Yale was finally 2 seasons old that he was enrolled into a small Dwarven school in Holy Oren. Yale wouldn't allow that, instead, he said he could have 5 nights for 2 minas with a 3 mina massage. This Miner was obviously really dumb, but not so to see what he was about to walk into. He then asked for 3 nights for 1 mina. Yale again didn't agree, so he said he could have 4 nights for 2 minas and a 2 mina massage. He didn't know why be he accepted, and Yale knew he had learned a good skill that day.

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

Answer: Remembering his parents, Yale knows not to take dangerous missions. He looks around, and remembers to his days in mining school, they said to observe your surroundings and use them to your advantage. He finds a rusty pickaxe and brushes it off, then wonders what he could do... What he decided was daring, but he went for it. He picked up his pickaxe, the rusty one, and some stone. Then, at the side of the cavern, he thrusted his pickaxes into the wall, and made sure they were tightly secure. then, he went along, replacing his pickaxes in the wall, while making a firm stone bridge under his feet. When on the other side he mined the diamonds, walked carefully across his "sturdy" bridge, and ran out of the caverns.

Answer: "What is it, Sir, that you are planning to do with that knife?" The Dwarf looks at me, surprised. The whole tavern looks at him, then to the boy, then to me, then to him again. "Yeah, you ain't gonna hurt this child are you?" Someone calls out. A woman walks over to the boy, she whispers, "C'mon sweetie, lets go find you parents." A few minutes later everyone's back to their own business. The dwarf walks over to me, knife in hand. "Watch'ya drinkin' there, huh? Ale? I guessed." I quickly steel his knife and point it at him. "You, son, need to go home." He and his friend walk shamefully out of the tavern.

Answer:" Hello, Sir! I could really use an ale, yes." I yell out coming closer, he looks more friendly than from far away. "Ahh just as I guessed, so hows'bout 3 minas for a glass?" he offered. I looked glumly at him. " I'm sorry sir, as much as I'll pay you, I only brought 1 mina." I said with 5 minas in pocket. "Oi, well, I guess you can take it for 1 mina, just take this poster and tell your friends about me. I walk away, sipping, and smiling.

Sub-race (if any): N/a

Clan (if any): N/a

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Roglin was born inside a dark cavern deep underground, his parents were mining together hoping to sell what they could dig up. Roglins mom was pregnant with him at the time, and he was almost due. Roglins father turned around for only a split second when he hears a scream, his wife is cornered by a Endermen, and the shock makes her water break. His father kills the ender but not before the Endermen kills his wife, but luckily the baby was already born and on the ground crying, not knowing what to do Roglins father runs off in shock and disbelief, for two days the baby stayed down there untill a dwarf by the name of Gronder walked by only to notice blood on the floor and a faint cry, he turns the corner to find a dead dwarf and a skinny baby with blue eyes and red hair on the ground, he dicides to take the baby knowing that it isnt a good place for it to be any longer. For three years he puts up sighns waiting for the parents or any type of family to come by and pick him up untill Gronder dicides that the parents will not come back and that he needs to take care of little Roglin him self.

Gronder was a skilled blacksmith and an even better miner, as soon as Roglin was strong enough to hold a bar of iron and a pickaxe Gronder started training him. Roglin trained and trained and trained untill he was considered an even more skilled dwarf than Gronder, Roglin may have been very talented dwarf but he was never interested in the art of smithing and mining, his mind was set on noblity and the art of good grammer, and manners. Unlike most dwarves he loved reading and he loved the adventures that he could put himself into with the simple turn of a page Gronder new of this and supported Roglin of his decisions. Gronder and Roglin loves each other more than anything in the world. But a bit of knowledge was kept form Roglin, that Gronder was not his parent and that Roglins family never actually showed up to claim him, so when Roglin finally turned 18 Gronder told him everything. Roglin was outraged but still understood why this was kept from him. He knew that if Gronder had told him this information before that he would have left. But shadowed by rage Roglin makes a drastick move and leaves in the midst of night without saying good by, without leaving a note, without a second thought, and dicides to never look back.

Personality: Roglin is very hardy in the mind and stuburn, but is kind at heart, and is easliy tempted by bad decisions.

Skills: Roglin is a skilled miner and blacksmith, but would rather be a dwarf of great knowledge and to be proper.

Answer:My character would look around seeing if there are any other threats around. After confirming it he moves slowly along the ridge, while throwing rocks at the ground infront of him making sure that it is stable. Once he gets to the diamonds he relizes that they are to presious to mine with the risk of them falling down, so he makes a makeshift platform for them to fall on. After collecting all of them he runs home to share the juels with his kin.

Answer:My character would quietly alert the young dwarf of the approching danger. I would then make a plan for me to get up and cause a distraction by causing a fight with an unexpectind dwarf. Seeing that the distraction is working and drawing the attention of the shady dwarves I would prolong the fight. Answer:Not on a mission of any sort I would greet the bar-owner and ask him for what hes got, after ordering the strongest and most potent dring he had, I chug the drink down and while in my beligerence I order an other, and then another, until I didnt know which way was up. Barely being able to speak I ask the bar-owner if he had a place for a drunk dwarf to stay, he says that there is a bench to sit on arround the corner. I would then get up and sleep the affects away.

Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Balthazar Hieronymus Leonard Markson Skipper Sebastian Winston Theodore

Current Age: 21.
Sub-race (if any): Nope.
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Balthazar was born to a baker, who was the son of a baker who was the son of a baker. Naturally, he was expected to carry on the tradition. Actually, growing up he was extremely excited. After all, who wouldn't want to be surrounded by sweets and delicious food all day? However, he soon learned that you didn't really get to eat any of the food, and had to do boring stuff like haggle with customers. So, for a while, he lost interest. As a child, he was very well-mannered, which made him lots of friends... With girls. He tended to be shunned by the guys for his non-confrontational nature, though he learned to hide it by his teen years.

Speaking of his teen years, this was when Balthazar's father began to crack down on him. He forced Balthazar into the role of a baker as fast as he could. Life was rather boring up until this point, they being simple folk who only knew the general gist of the law. Balthazar never had an extensive education, he was exclusively trained to be a baker. Of course, he resented it at first, but he actually found that he enjoyed baking quite a bit.

Finally, in his latest years, he has decided that he likes being a baker so much, that he's decided to be the best. So he has set off for the Vale, where he heard Halflings had new, delicious, and interesting baking techniques that could make him better. Any money he finds each month he still sends back to his father, though he did leave with his blessing. His father was proud of Baltahzar's advancement, and was happy of him trying to better himself, but also has made Balthazar swear and oath to come home and take over the bakery in case anything happens to him.

Though Balthazar is still looking for permenant housing in the Vale, he is confident that if he looks long and hard enough, he'll find it. Of course, that optimism won't last for long, so recently he has increasing his searching for a house feverently.

Ambitions for the Future: To become the greatest baker of all time, and to be world-famous.
Personality: Balthazar, as his name would suggest, is rather prissy by human standards. He does all he can to avoid conflict, which is why he fits in with Halflings a great deal. However, despite his avoiding conflict, his close friends know he has a lovable, but slightly dark sense of humor. The main thing seperating him from his neighbors is his delusion that he will become the greatest cook in the lands. He really does enjoy baking all the tiem, he usually simply bakes to forget his troubles. Like his neighbors, he loves a good story, but when he tells them he often can go a bit far, even inserting himself into the stories.
Skills: He is an excellent baker, and not half bad with a frying pan when in a fight. Of course, that never happens.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Balthazar is a rather average-looking man, 6 foot 1 inches, not skinny, but also not quite fat yet. He has long black hair, which he tends to keep under his white hat, yet some still wildly creeps out and goes to mid-back. He wears a long-sleeved wooly light brown shirt, with a leather vest over it. He tucks the shirt in with a simple black belt. He wears pants the same shade of brown as his shirt, and wears leather boots.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: Balthazar, terrified of this strange man, nearly falls over when he spots him. When he notices that the man is going towards the palace, but that there are guards nearby, he freezes up and doesn't know what to do. He lets out a slight stutter, "G-gaurds..." Yet the guards haven't noticed him yet. Then, "Guards! There's a guy in a cloak!" Most of the guards laugh at this strange man, but one of them notices the figure, and runs after him.

Answer: Balthazar, trembling, takes a few steps to the bandits. Suddenly, they turn around, spotting Balthazar. They burst out laughing when they see how much his blade is trembling, and his paltry leather armor. They take a few steps towards Balthazar, in their heavy gear... Suddenly, Balthazar throws the sword at one of their feet in surrender. Someone, in a one in a million chance, the bandit actually trips on it! The other is too dumbfounded by the... Well, dumbness of his compatriot. In a heartbeat Balthazar runs, grabbing the feeble old man's hand as he goes. He hears the screams of the bandits behind him as he keeps running away from the bandits...

Answer: Balthazar perueses the cooking goods that the small man has. He's a bit underwhelmed, to be perfectly honest. There weren't many cooking goods, besides a couple of basic pots and pans. One of them, a seemingly normal travelling cooking pot, caught his eye. It seemed to be lighter than the others, when he picked it up. The shopkeep's face spread into a huge grin, as Balthazar examined it. "Aaaah, I see you have a discerning eye! That right there is a true beauty of cookware." Balthazar looked curiously at him, "What is it? It seems so light." The man replied, "A pot made of... The finest, purest... Mithril!"
".... What?" The man looked shocked, "You don't know what mithril is!? Why, the lightest, but strongest substance on this planet! That pot wouldn't smash if you hit it with your strongest sword!" Balthazar's eyes widened, "Really?" The man nodded sagely. "All for around 700 minas! Of course, you can negotiate as much as you want." Balthazar's mouth nearly dropped at that price-tag. He was about to exclaim that it was ridiculous, but... Well, he had just enough, and the pot was so light, and high-quality... He'll try to drive the price down a bit. "I'll take it, but for no more than 300 minas!" The merchant rubbed his hands together, "Come now, I have to make a living! 600 minas- Wait, I like you, and it's only a pot I suppose. 500 Minas. I'm sure you will enjoy the pot immensely!" Balthazar accepted this. After he had sold the pot to Balthazar, and Balthazar was walking away, he noticed that the merchant was packing up his stall... It wasn't until he dropped in on the road out of the city that Balthazar noticed the pot... Dented, on the ground. "GRRRAGH!"

When Malriken was born in the city of Haleun’or. When Malriken turned the age of 14 his father, a master bowmen, taught him about the bow and how to fight with it. For three years they would work on his marksmanship together until that unfaithful day.
When Malkaren and Malriken were walking home from an ancestral event at the capitol city of The Elder Tree City of Normandor, they came up upon a fight. This was a between to particularly ungrateful High Elves. The two Elves, both Wood elves, where arguing about who was the better fighter. Malkaren, a soldier of high caliber, walked up to the conflict to try to stop it. Before Malriken and Malkaren walked up to the brawl both Elves pulled out knifes intending to stab each other. Knowing that assault of any form is not permitted, Malkaren tried to step in and stop the fight. In the struggle that proceeded Malkaren was stabbed and left to bleed out on the pavement while Malriken was knocked out by one of the Wood Elves who was trying to get away from the seen.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer: Stealthily sneaking up behind the High Elves I listen to what they are whispering about
“This is the idiot that can’t write and read? At 10 years of age? Ha! He is a disgrace to Mali kind. He should not be able to live, let’s kill him.”
The Elf to his left chuckles, “You are most right. Any Mali that cannot read by this age should die.”
The third Elf from the right cracks his knuckles and makes a move to surround the Elven child.
“You may not want to do that” I say from behind the group of three, having raised my bow and knocked an arrow.
The three Elves turn around on the spot and see me with my bow high.
“Why do you have that out? You should know that assault is illegal” the first Elf mocked.
“This is a whole other story here, I will not be assaulting you, I will just be protecting the child.”
“And who’s to say you can?” the second one said
“The Law.”
“How does the law have anything to do with this?”
“As an Initiate I have the abilities to arrest you.”
“Only an Initiate? Ha! You can’t take the three of us.”
After this second a rustle in the forest behind me could be heard.
“You hear that? That’s a whole squad of Initiates, all have their bows trained on you, ready to fire at my signal.”
The three High Elves looked at me with wild fear in their eyes. “Ca ca come on g guys let’s g g get out of here!” the first one said, paralyzed. After several seconds the Elf on the right fell down. This had a reaction on the other two, which at that moment started sprinting the other direction of me around the child.
I walk up to the child and say while helping him up, “those three where idiots, they didn’t even realize that the rustling was just a deer and that I, in fact, am not actually an Initiate.”
The child looked up at me amazed at what I just did for him, never ever having anyone done that for him before.
“Oh I almost forgot, my name is Malriken Ardenscape, son of Malkaren Ardenscape, what is your name?”
“I I don’t know, I I’ve never had one.”
“Well why don’t I give you one? Would you like that?”
The kid nodded excitedly as if it was the most amazing thing ever.
“How about… Ah! I know, Mali’ceru, because you are a strong Elf. If Malin was here today he would be proud of how you’ve withstood this torment you’ve had. Now, do you have a place to live or are you homeless?”
“I’m homeless”, he said with sadness, his head draped down.
“You know what? I’m traveling around, why don’t you come with me? I’ll teach you how to write and read and I’ll teach you about the bow and arrow. What do you think of that?
“Yes, Yes, Yes! I want to go with you, I want to learn how to use the bow. Yes!”
For three years Malriken and Mali’ceru traveled the country side, Malriken teaching Mali’ceru how to read, write, and use a bow while Malriken kept honing his own skills with the bow.

Answer: “Dear Malin! Sir are you ok?”
“No! Help! I need help!” said the old human,
With ease, I lifted up the frail old man and ask, “Where are you going?”
“I’m going home, I just went to see my son.”
“Shouldn’t your son be coming to see you?”
“Oh he’s in no condition at all to come to me.”
“Why’s that?”
“He is severely injured. Not a thing could have stopped it.”
“What couldn’t be stopped?”
“Nothing that concerns you”, the old man stated with tension in his face.
“It may not concern me but I still want to know.”
“Fine I will tell you. Four days ago, so I was told, my son was walking along this exact same trail to come and see myself when a group of bandits came out of the woods. These where no ordinary bandits, they were sturdier then the most sturdy Dwarves, stronger than the strongest Orcs, and overall, wiser than the eldest Elves.”
“And you have seen these beasts?”
“Alas, I have not. I am not one to come out of my house unless necessary.”
“I see… From where do they come and when?”
“Around here and at about...” the old man’s face became a mask of horror as he spoke, “N n n now.”
Right as the old man’s sentence finished a set of bushes out in front and to the right began to rustle. Just then a huge figure came out standing in front of us.
“Surrender all the Minas you have and no one gets hurt.”
“Sorry, I have none and neither does the old man.”
“Then you and the old man shall parish.”
As the huge figure started to move I noticed that the huge monster was not making a sound as it walked, further yet it did not make any foot prints in the dirt road.
Taking out my bow and knocking an arrow I said, “Hiding behind an illusion isn’t very courageous of you”, then I shot my arrow.
The thud of the arrow sounded and the illusion disappeared. Laying there was a wizard of Human nature. He was wearing a dark purple cloak with red lining.
“Isn’t it against the law to kill a man? My god you just had to disable him.”
“There was no way out of the conflict but this, and yes, it is against the law in this country to kill a man but alas, there was no other way.”
From that point on the old man and I did not run into any more trouble, we arrived at his destination and went our separate ways.

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include: - item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer: As I was walking past a large colored carriage, a man, Elven by the looks of him, called out to me, “You there! Come here, come here. I have anything and everything you may need. From swords and axes, to food and stone, you want it, I got it.”
“What kind of food do you have? I’m looking to get some trail rations.”
“We have beef from Humans, bread from the Elves; we have apples from the northerners, and best of all homemade cookies! Yum, the best I’ve ever had.”
“How much would be some loaves of bread and a couple of those great cookies you have?”
“Twelve minas for bread, three for each, and one minas a cookie, so in all, sixteen minas.”
“Sixteen! That’s insane. I would be better at 12 minas over all. This isn’t necessarily all for me; I’m buying some for the travelers who don’t bring enough for themselves.”
“Really?” he said with disbelief on his face.
“Really, have you heard of Malriken Ardenscape?
“Yes I have. I’ve heard several times of some of the things he has done for others without consent for himself.”
“I am Malriken Ardenscape.”
“I doubt that.”
“Want me to prove you wrong?”
“Ok, shoot that small tree over there.” The merchant was pointing at a two inch thick tree 100 yards away. “If you are in fact Malriken you should be able to hit that tree with your first shot.”
“Only that?”
“Yes.”
“Ok, I can do that.”
I pulled out my bow and aimed with my arrow knocked. With one shot I hid the tree dead in the middle.
“Oh my Malin! That was Amazing. How do you do that Malriken?”
“I’ve trained for a long time. Now can we get back to the price?”
“Yes we can, I think we agree on fourteen minas right?”
“I can’t afford fourteen, can I bring you down to thirteen?”
“You can’t do any better?”
“No.”
“Ok I guess I can do thirteen.”
After the exchange of minas and food I walked over and took the arrow out of the tree and placing it in his quiver on his back. After a couple seconds of looking around I called back, “thank you for the service. Will you be here again anytime soon?”
“Yes, I will be here all this week. Two weeks after that I shall return for two more weeks.”
“Thank you, I will be sure to come by again.”
“Ok, thank you for coming.”
At the end of our conversation I walked out of the clearing on the road back to my home town of
Haleun’or.
