In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Raleigh Fournier
Current Age: Eighteen
Sub-race (if any): Northerner
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Ambitions for the Future:
Raleigh was born on the continent of Asulon, on the 20th year of its settlement. At this time, she was to young to understand the war between Renatus, and his allies, including the Twilight Alliance, against Salvus. The small caravan of six, her father, her uncle, and his three sons. Raleigh's mother passed away during birth, but not before she was given the pleasure to see her first and only child brought into this world. Even if it was, surrounded by war.
Either to young, or ignorant of such things her traveling family of six told her of the peace treaty made between Renatus and Hanseti. With all Human nations fallen under the name 'The Holy Oren Empire' they foretold of the great trade between former enemies turned allies and friends. Most of her life was spent traveling from the Southern realms of the Holy Oren Empire, to its capitol Arethor. Trading and taking stock from merchants along the way. The execution of 'The Wolverines', did not effect them much. Though their minds were put to ease when the attacks from 'House Flay' came to an end. Her childhood was a slow one. One closely guarded by her father, who so dearly loved his daughter, despite faults. Leaving his only task, and expectation of her to guard the Caravan while they traded their goods. Importing lumber and stone to the Northern most nations, where being in the center would be handed from one merchant to the other, to make its way across the Empire's borders. They traveled no farther from the cool south, preferring the chill of the South, keeping to the hardy lifestyle it takes to travel between the snow capped mountains.
After their short stay in Arethor, where her Uncle's sons finished the small part-time jobs in the City, they would leave by the eve. Raleigh given the chore to watch over the Caravan was glad to be on their way back to the South. This life continued, life on the road gave little privacy, and Raleigh was like one of the boys. Rough housing, and teasing common between the youngsters. Raleigh enjoyed this life, with her father and Uncle. Though as she became older, as did her interest in settling down, having a family. After an argument with her father, she swore off her previous life with her family. She made her way south, to what was previously Hanseti. Though it was at this time that the noxious, poisonous fumes released from the mountains, settling over much of the South. Barely escaping its reaches, she headed for the Cloud Temple. To prideful to return to her father, and would much rather accept the generosity of the monks.
Raleigh is a descendent from a long line of Northerners, her pale skin evidence to her pure lineage. Despite the Northerners tendency to falling into the description of; Miners, Lumber jacks. Raleigh dreams of a quaint, warm life. Often in her late nights she dreams of sitting by a warm hearth, her hands calloused after a days work of running a small wheat farm. She's even fancied the life of owning a ranch, raising cattle, sheep, chickens. Though these thoughts often end in the question, "Wont I have to slaughter the dear animals I have raised?". It certainly makes her think twice, but the sound of such a life is nice. On cold nights, she reminiscences of her life on the road with her father, and their family. One of travel, trading the goods of strange and different folk. A troubling thought presents itself however; her distrust of other races. Life on the road took her many places, with many strange creatures. Their difference in appearance, and culture, perturbed her. Raleigh's ambitions are many, the people she meets and the road she takes would certainly decide her fate.
Personality: While a Northerner, sturdy, light skinned. She does not display the same mentality. She wants nothing more than a gentle life, one shared with friends. Things such as sowing fields of golden wheat, baking sweet things like cakes and pies. Her fondness of halflings, is one that is evident. She may not share their taste in housing, but their life styles, warm hearths, family and friendship. Close-knit communities wary of outsiders that's where she belongs.
Stubborn, persistent, heart warming. While her feet may be aching she puts one foot before the other, knowing that with gentle and kind deeds she will harvest the fruits of her efforts. While she may believe that she is a realistic thinker, her trust for Humans is often misplaced. Easily fooled many a time by a bandits "sly" nature. Ignorance and pride come easily for her, she could find pride in nearly anything. The passing of gold to a con-man, undoubtedly falling under his tricks. Playing the poor drunkard.
Introverted, Quick to anger, this girl is read like a book. She may dream of settling down, but her life on the road makes her antsy. Likely caused by her chore of staying behind watching the Caravan while the boys went out to work. Having to stay in one spot, makes her feel as if her dreams are far off, and this is where things out of the ordinary encourage her to incite curiosity. Though if it turns into something that could lead to any form of trouble, regardless if she's the hero in it, or the victim. She wants no part in it, and can easily leave the helpless or any criminal to their own devices.
Skills: By no means is she a farmer, the girl doesn't even know what to do with a hoe, a shovel, or a bucket of water! Not to mention her ignorance to what actual amount of care goes into livestock. Yet she's determined to learn, while inept in the ways of agriculture. Raleigh exhibits an excellent stamina, she's suited for travel. She has been all her life, if a courier or a caravaner be needed this would be the one to choose.
Give the woman an axe, and she will bring you back a stack of processed woods, from birch to great oak. If its made of wood, it's going down. Due to not actually being a lumber-jack, she can become a bit over-zealous striking as many trees needed. This could lead to trouble for her, especially for those seeking balance in nature. ((I do understand that there is no land scarring! I wont chop down all trees! <3 ))
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):
Any other details you wish to share about your character:
Raleigh has lean long features, paired with gangly long limbs. While she could be considered pretty, she could look very goofy as well. She ties her maroon-orange hair into a single braid that ties off just below her hips.
"Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:"
(( ^ Took the above quote from this link: http://www.lordofthe...plication-form/ By the user: stealthninjaAP
(( Hello! This time around in roleplay, I wanted something simple. I didn't want to role-play, a militaristic, or someone capable of being able to fight. Nor did I want to play a noble woman, as that was far to much of a stress in previous RP's. This character, is someone who wants to lead a quaint life, and its something I can easily enjoy. ))
Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: The heels of my boot's clap against the stone paving, dragging my feet. 'I didn't think I could make it through that shift'. My hands went up into my hair, tugging at my braid at the loose band, letting my tangled, kinked hair sway over to one shoulder. Running my hands through my hair, fingers snapping the knots tangled into it. A clatter hit the ground, and I looked below me, there my hair band lay. I reached down, but before I picked it up a steel toed boot, dark as my father's coat in the middle of the night. I pick it up, wincing 'Why would someone be wearing such heavy, dark things in the middle of a summer night?' With a scoff I followed him, the fool he is I thought to myself. Picking up my feet from the ground I followed him. We neared the Emperor's palace, it was unusual being up this close, a quick scan and I could see the Guardsmen had bolstered their numbers. I almost lost the shadow of a man, he and another conversed, I jogged over, straining to hear what they had to say.
Shadow One: "...you'll be paid in full when the job is done."
Shadow Two: "I hope that ******* washed his neck, I'll post it on a pike in his own bedroom!" He sneered.
Stifling a gasp with my hands, I look about to the Guards, I shake my head and without a word turn around. 'None of my bussiness.'
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: With a growl I left the security of the road and dashed into the thick oak forest, 'That fool took my gold! The coward!' Straining against the leather armor I had purchased, bandits had become more frequent on the roads. 'So I hire a mercenary whose freightened by noises in the night? I should of known better, some street clothed 'mercenary' wielding a stone sword. He probably stole it.' A tight grip on the sword hilt, 'It is a bit creepy out here... What was that?!'. Startled, an old man's voice in the distance. Following, quiet in my steps I creep up on a couple of bandits badgering an old man.
Old Man: "You leave me be, you hear! I'm not afraid to use this!" He yowls, as they swipe away the weapon and push him to the muddy ground.
Bandit One: "Just hand over the money already and we'll only leave you with a few bruises!" The second bandit laughed, punching the first in the shoulder.
I gasped, fear ran through my body, dropping my iron sword to run. I don't care if it made a sound, or if I am making a noisy escape. It's none of my business!
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: 'Pushing past throngs of slow moving idiots! That's what this feel's like' Shoulders pushed forward, I make sure anyone in my way knows I want them to move, and when they don't let's just say the other turns around to say. "Woman! Show some respect!"'This city always annoyed me, the market was always full of people, and a few to many Elves for my own liking. Though it is good for trade.' Pausing, catching a brightly colored stall I walk over, irritation leaving my body as my senses are assaulted with bright pastel colors, I lean over the counter.
Small Man: "Greeting's lass! I have many things in store for you I do! Here take a look!"
"I think I will!" Leaning over, my hands gripping the counter to anchor myself. I spot the most treasured objects. A sack of wheat seeds, the man grinned at me. Likely due to the amazement plastered over my features.
Small Man: "Looking to buy some seeds to start your humble garden?" He leans in close with a smirk, "Name your price, lass!"
I rear up, dumbfounded. I don't have anything worth giving him... With a pout, and a wrinkle to my forehead he leaned over the counter.
Small Man: "You're a Northener aren't you? Aren't you and yours skilled with the axe? I tell you what, twenty-five birch logs and a loaf of bread and their yours!"
Raising a brow, "Not so fast, halfling!" She grinned with a tease, "I need this loaf of bread to last me the weak, you can have half!" She offered her hand, "The rest, I agree upon!" A firm nod of my head and the deal is sealed with a shake of our hands.
(( Thank you for reading, and I appreciate the time you take in going through these applications. I want to be upfront with problems I have as a Role-player. First, i'm not positive how active I will be. I may log on for only a few minutes a day, or on my days off I will be online all day! My schedule is always a bit wonky, due to working retail. The second, I sometimes have trouble hopping into the community, and isolate myself at times. In previous games I have RP'ed in, I have gotten past that hermit tendency but new communities always scare me! Im quite shy! Third, which is my biggest problem and i'm sure you have noticed: I am terrible at grammar. Sentence-structuring, punctuation, spelling. Im not great at it. Though I will try! I hope my bio checks out with you, I read so much that it really just made my head have a mini explosion! I tried reading as much lore as I could on Asulon, on all the races, and all the places. Though I focused on the humans, and even then I was slightly confused. I wanted to try my first post without the help of mods, to try and better myself at teaching my mind to remember lore but if I fail. The second time around I will speak closely with any mod that is willing. Almost forgot! This I used as a rough timeline to determine my characters age! http://www.lordofthe...story_of_Asulon
Thank you for reading, Dreamest posting her app! ))

In-Character Details
Character Name: Jake "Blitz" Helskadi
Character Race: Human
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Born into Oren, his family was under the constant threat of the undead. As a child, the mere thought of aggressive walking corpses chilled his bones more than the harsh winters ever could. Despite the fact, he loved the woods. Most of his time he spent hunting, fishing, and enjoying the forests. On one of his hunting trips he found a Tokay gecko, which stays with him to this day. He named it Chimera. His family lived on the outskirts of town, providing for their own needs and rarely heading to the market. His father taught him to be a doctor and allowed him to help work at the clinic when he was fourteen. Naturally an introvert, he usually kept to himself yet stayed loyal to the few friends he had.
Several years past before he enlisted in the military as a medic and got the nickname "Blitz". It was midnight when a surge of undead flooded into the town. Taken off guard, and still half asleep he mistook the heavy banging on the door for a person knocking, and opened it. The rotted corpse lunged at him just as he came to his sense and lashed out at it with his knife. Stepping outside he saw bodies littered the streets and hurried over the help a group of men fighting their way out of an alley. He caught up to them just as an undead grabbed him from behind. He jumped back but it slashed at him, gouging his left eye out before he could sink his dagger into its stomach. The fight permanently scarred his face, and his pride.
What are your characters ambitions?: He longs to become successful any way he can. There are few things he is truly ambitious about, besides his lunch.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? Spotting the small man behind the booth looking quite desperate for money, Jake's guilt gets the best of him. He approaches the man and takes a look at his mediocre shop."Anything of interest?" The man calls out hopingly. Jake buys some of his basic tools and ores to help the man out a little. "So yer a blacksmith are ye?" "Not quite, but I'm sure I'll find a use for it." As he turns to walk away a glimmer of metal catches his eye from under the table. "Oh, and I s'pose I could part with these aswell, for the right price." The man pulls the pair of gauntlets out and sets them on top of the table. "How much?" "Twenty minas and they're yours! Hand crafted by my father years ago for a man, only he never came to get them. The highest quality of iron, I assure you." Jake tries them on and eventually hands him the the money. "Thank you sir. I should get going, I have business to attend."
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? Jake listens from afar until he is sure the Orc is looking for a fight before approaching them. "Hey, c'mere you fat cactus" "Mind yer own bidnez human!" the Orc retorts back. ((There's my best attempt at "bastardizing" the common language. Keep in mind my character isn't an Orc, don't worry.)) Jake continues to stand there mocking him as the orc turns his attention, now ignoring the other man. "I is going to stomp yur guts i'to yur brains you li'l pest!" The dwarf takes the opportunity, slamming his hammer into the back of the orcs skull before looking back at Jake. "Thanks for making that easier for me lad." "My pleasure. Good luck dealing with him." He glances back at the unconscious Orc crumpled over on the dirt as he walks away.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: Jake immediately helps the man over to sit down against a tree before gathering all the Minas into his leather pouch and handing it to the man. He climbs up a tree to cut off a limb suitable to be used as a cane and shaves the bark off around the top, to be used as a handle before presenting it to the man. "Thank you son" He nods. "Where are you heading to, sir?" "Malinor." "May I accompany you there? It is on my way anyhow." "If you wish. Thank you."
P.S.- I used what lore I could but I stayed away from events like the Phoenix Uprising since I was unsure if it was something that may have happened before my character's time. Thanks for taking the time to review!

In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Asphodeus Ives
Current Age: Thirty Four years of age.
Sub-race (if any): Halfling
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Agatha Ives held her child as she gazed upon his delicate face. His small squeaky cries echoed through the large room [by Halfling standards] as Henric Ives, father of the newborn, entered the room to also sight his new child. A wide smile grew on his face, causing his skin to crease, and his cheeks to turn red with joy and lack of blood circulation due to the creasing.
The tiny baby did not remember the many name suggestions that came after his initial birth, but in the end he was given a great name, destined for a great person, and that names was Asphodeus Ives.
Little Ives, as his father called him, grew to be an adventurous and curious young Halfling, as was normal for an Ives family member. Little Ives’ days were filled with being scolded for pulling flowers out of the neighbors garden for his mother, and chasing around chickens, only to be bit by the rooster on the thumb for doing so. Other days he would assist his father in picking carrots from the farms, or sorting berries into appropriate sections. To him the Vale was filled with wonders and peace.
As Little Ives begun his teenage years, his mother began schooling him in reading and writing, while his father taught him the art of the lute and baking. These years were more taxing on Asphodeus, as he found that schooling wasn’t so easy. Despite his hardships with understanding mathematics and literature, Asphodeus had fun playing the lute and baking with his father. Eventually as he neared the age twenty eight, the teenager began to excel and understand the subjects his mother was teaching him.
Even though his life was going swell so far, his whole world was about to turn upside down. Roaring waves began to erode the coasts of Asulon, and terrifying storms raged across the land. Soon the end would come. With his family, Little Ives climbed on the boat to Anthos. While the roaring waves attacked the boat, Asphodeus played his father’s lute, something he had become very good at, and sang quietly to himself. While the Halfling was under the deck, playing the lute, his parents were above deck talking, when a huge wave crashed over the ship and swept the small loving Halflings away. Later when Asphodeus found out, his heart was broken, and they were arriving at some islands between their destination and origin.
From that moment on Asphodeus vowed to be a good, no, a great Halfling for the sake of his beloved parents. As his mother and father always told him, Halflings were a small race, and usually did small things, but they knew he would be a great Halfling. This drove Asphodeus’ will to do something other Halflings have never done. The adventurous and curious side of him erupted.
The Halfling and his kin stayed some years on the Isles with the rest of the races, until the time had come for the final stage of the great exodus. At this point Asphodeus arrived with the other Halflings in Anthos, and they all went to Lenfarthing. He was age thirty four, a Halfling adult, and ready to prove himself to the world, starting out as a minstrel.
Ambitions for the Future:
Asphodeus’ main ambition is to do or be something great, something no Halfling has done, all the while sticking with Halfling traditions of peace and such.
Asphodeus would also like to become a well respected minstrel in Halfling society.
Personality:
Asphodeus is an ambitious, adventurous, clever and curious Halfling. He doesn’t get angry, envious, or jealous at all and is generally a peaceful Halfling. He is kind, jolly, and very merry. Ives isn’t shy. Contrary to that he is very talkative and outgoing.
Skills:
-Playing the lute
-Reciting and writing poems
-Singing
-Baking
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):
Asphodeus Ives has soft and well groomed earth brown hair. His eyes are different shades of green, one lighter the other darker. This is due to one of the traits of Halflings – different eye colors. He stands three feet and nine inches, and wears a brown coat with forest green pants. Overall he looks like a fancy forest gnome with no shoes.
Any other details you wish to share about your character:
Asphodeus is only adept at playing the lute, not a master.
Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer:
Asphodeus’ eyes darted around, as he held his lute with both of his small hands. The Halfling looked like an ant compared to the capital’s walls that loomed over him. Rarely did he go out of Lenfarthing, but today was the day he desperately needed some string for his lute. Not knowing his way around the city, Ives somehow made it to the steps of the Emperor’s grand palace. He sighed in a very exasperated manner, and then turned around to leave, but saw a tall and dark cloaked man heading to the steps.
A fiery darkness seemed to be within his hood, and Asphodeus, one to be easily scared by anything so big and dark, scurried off to exit the lavish city.
“J-justah big man… N-no need tah worreh,” the Halfling muttered to himself in his usual squeaky voice.
“Per’aps Elves ‘ave some strin’ for me,” Ives reassured himself as he set off away from the capital of the Humans.
Answer:
Asphodeus carefully watched the two bandits surrounding the poor old man. He stood behind a bush as tall as him, hiding him effectively as he spied the three men. Next to Asphodeus is a longsword and some leather armor. He goes to pick it up, but then puts it down, thinking it suspiciously convenient It was not his place to be a professional fighter and hero, nor was it to bring violence. The Halfling still felt pity for the elderly man, and began to pout, trying to think of how to help him. As Asphodeus’ mind raced the bandits began to talk louder to the old man, audible even to Ives now.
“GIVE US THE COINS OL’ MAN!!!” the bigger one hollered at the elderly fellow.
“OR ELSE WE’LL SKIN YE!” the scrawnier one cackled.
Asphodeus snapped his fingers, the lightbulb lighting up in his head. He began to laugh in an evil manner, and sounded almost like a witch with his squeaky and piercing laugh. He began to talk in a scratchy and evil voice, as the bandits turned around to fearfully search for the source of the screeching.
“EHEHEHEHEHEHE! Be gone bandits! Er else I’ll turn tha in’o frogs!” he bravely yelled.
The superstitious and rather mindless bandits screamed and ran into the woods.
“WITCH! WITCH!,” they shrieked as they run.
The old man looks startled himself, and he quickly crawls into his cottage. Asphodeus giggles and goes to another bush to being picking berries. He feels good about his cunning ideas.
Answer:
Asphodeus was unable to find his lute string in the Elven lands, so he decided to return to the capital in search of new, strong string for his oak-wood lute. After fighting off his fears of big, tall, and dark cloaked men, Ives went to observe the items of a merchant who had laid out strong instrumental string! Asphodeus’ eyes lit up as he approached the man, and got on his tippy toes so his eyes poked over the stall.
“’Xcuse me mistah, ‘ow much are tha sellin’ those ins’rumen’al strings for?”
The merchant glances down to the Halfling and smiles, starting to speak in a posh Orenian accent.
“Those particular strings are very strong and will last you quite a while. One hundred minas for all three,” the merchant lectures.
“Ah see. ‘erhaps tha could give ‘em to me for Nineteh minas,” Asphodeus begins to haggle.
“No, how about ninety five minas?” the merchant inquires.
“Aye, that’s fine,” squeaks Ives as he takes out some coins and begins to count them.
“Nineteh three, nineteh four, ninteh five!”
With that Asphodeus hands the honest merchant ninety five minas and scurries to Lenfarthing with his new instrumental string.
Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have read the rules and I fully agree with them.
What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: I've played in
many RP servers in Minecraft, and also in other games, such as RaiderZ,
WoW and many others.
How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: Well, I knew about it
for a long time now, but I never really tried it. I was looking for
Minecraft servers, because I was bored, and decided to check out the
servers on Minecraft Forums, since I never tried to use them for finding
servers. As I was browsing, I suddenly noticed this server, so a
thought came to my head, telling me to try it. This is how I ended here.
Link any applications that you have previously made for the server: As
mentioned above, I never tried to enter this server before, therefore,
this is my first application for this server.
Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above):
Have you read the Human lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it
and follow it in your biography?: Yes, I've read every bit of useful
information.
Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: For me, role-playing is taking place in a fictional
world as a character, who needs to develop skills, find itself a group
and do everything it can in order to complete his/her mighty quest.
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is using real-life information while role-playing. For an example, me and my friend were playing on the server, when suddenly he asks 'Will you go to school tomorrow, Asaf?' This counts as meta-gaming.
Power-emoting: Power-emoting is doing actions to another player, without letting him do anything in return, or making an impossible action. in other words- exessive role-playing. for example: Me and
another player are walking together, suddenly, out of nowhere, I take a gigantic sword and beat the player to his death. This reminds me of the way I used to role-play with my friends when I was a little kid.
In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Tristam Corite
Current Age: 21
Sub-race (if any): Northener
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs
long): 'Moooooom, where did you put the breadsticks..?' Tristam is a talented boy. He was born in Ager, a village not too far away from the capital, Arethor. His father, a well-trained swordsman, taught his son the basics of sword fighting. He often helped his mother, a great cook known all over the village, to cook basic food, such as mushroom stew or bread loaves. He quickly gained charisma and trust from the villagers and was loved by all the people around him, calling him 'kind-hearted and brave'. He lived peacefully with his small family, until the great disaster happened. A mysterious fog covered the whole village, and the sky suddenly turned green. This weird fog wilted the flowers, killed the pets and the animals, poisoned the water sources and caused lots of damage. The fog caught the Corite family unready, so they have to get their supplies as soon as possible and run away. They were running towards the gate as sick people were crying, asking them for medicine. Before they reached the gate, his mom told Tristam that she's going to stay and help the sick, since many of them are her friends. Before Tristam and his father left, he was given some loaves of bread and a coin pouch. They built a little hut a bit far from the village, so they can leave there for some time. After the hut was done, Tristam's father decided to stay in the hut, and sent Tristam to Arethor, the capital of the Holy Oren Empire. He was told to meet a person named Robin Drake II, who is apparently a friend of his father, so he will take care of him while he's there.
He lived in the noble house Drake for a few good months, until he decided to become a knight. Using what his father taught him, he quickly became an outstanding trainee and gained more knowledge about fighting. As time passed he became more and more interested about that poisonous fog that covers Ager until now. He made countless researches about the fog, but the results were always negative, as if there was just no source, and it just came out of the blue. He knew this isn't the answer, and that there's something behind this whole thing. Even Robin Drake II couldn't answer this question, even though he has a whole library about different researches.
Ambitions for the Future: Tristam wants to research the poisonous fog from Ager village in order to know the source of it and stop it.
Personality: Tristam is kind-hearted (He will help anyone in trouble), smart (Is able to solve puzzles, etc.), Charismatic (Can easily convince a large group of people or become their leader), knowledge-thristy (Likes researching and learning new things), strong (Includes running, attacking, etc.) and brave (Will try his best in the most dangerous situations).
Skills: Tristam is a well- trained swordsman (Just like his father), a good cook, interested in archeology and knows to research things he found. He is also good at hunting. If he starves, he can simply hunt a nearby pig or a cow, clean it, cook it and enjoy the fine meal. Another skill of him is investigation. He spent months of investigating Ager's fog, what eventually helped him with investigating other phenomenons. He's also good at stealth. He's still a trainee, but he is not bad at it and gets better at it as time passes.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):

____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a
dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s
palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting
distance - what do you do?
Answer: It was early in the morning. Tristam was walking up the path to the Emperor's palace. 'I can't believe I'm going to visit the Emperor himself! I might finally get my knight badge and officially be announced as a knight! I feel quite stressed..' He whispered to himself. Upon crossing the town square, he noticed a suspicious dark-clothed figure among the tempestuous crowds of humans. 'There is something strange about this lad, don't ye think?' said a nearby merchant who approached Tristam. 'He seems to be making his way to the palace.' the merchant assumed. Tristam finally decided: 'I shall follow him a bit, just until I know what he's up to. It's the perfect time to test my stealth skills.' He then went to the merchant house, went upstairs and climbed to the roof. He jumped from one roof to another and quietly stalked the suspicious figure, who was walking slowly on the path to the palace. He kept a distance of a few meters from the figure, so he wouldn't notice. When they went close enough to the palace, he went down from there and shadowed him, hoping for success. 'I can see guards in the distance! The case is solved! I'll let them do the job themselves. I have to meet the Emperor now anyway.' he smiled. As he was about to leave the suspicious person alone, he suddenly took out a dagger and stabbed one of the guards. The other guard was about to strike the person for the sake of his friend, who is now lying on the floor, slowly bleeding to death. Before the other guard was able to attack the villian, it was too late. The dagger already penetrated through his flesh. Tristam watched in shock as the guard fell to the ground, suffering incredible pain alongside his dead friend. Shocked, Tristam shadows the dark-robed person, wondering if the 'assassin' already noticed him. 'I won't let him reach the Emperor. I will stop him no matter what!' Tristam took a deep breath and dashed towards the assassin, pushing him against the wall. The person took out his dagger once again and tried to stab Tristam in the stomach, but thankfully, he was just quick enough to knock the dagger down, leaving the assassin defenceless. He then says 'Come after me and don't make sudden moves. If you do, I'll make sure you'll suffer the same fate as those poor guards.' The stressed assassin surrenderred and went to prison. 'We were looking for this person for a long time now.' Said the prison guard. 'He is a known dark-elf who tried to assassinate the Emperor more than once. I thank you for your kindness and for your help. Here, take this bounty!' as he counted the coins and dropped them in his coin purse, Tristam responded: 'Thank you very much!' The prison guard finally recalled: 'Hey, didn't you say something about meeting the Emperor?'
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come
across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside
it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded
by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You
are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: 'I am a bit short on money right now..' said Tristam to himself with a grumpy face while walking down the road to the oak forest. 'I should save money and get my own food and clothing for a short period of time.' He wanted to replace his crumbling armor with something that actually fits him. 'I will have to use leather armor for now, just until I get all the money I need..' he sighed. He climbed on a tree with some ladders he brought with him in order to get a good view of the oak forest. He smiled as he saw a cow chewing the cud, just a few meters away. 'Yes!' He went all the way down and caught the cow. With a satisfied smile, he then took out his sword. Just as he was about to slaugher the cow, a sound was heard all over the forest. 'HELP!' Tristam quickly set the cow free and ran to the place where the sound came from. 'See ye later, cow! I gotta do something important first!' He ran until he saw a small cottage. He hid behind a tree and listened to the conversation. 'Gimme all yer money!' 'Stay away from me, you punks!' 'Do what we told you, old guy, unless you want to get hurt.' Tristam quickly analyzed the situation. 'I can hear 3 people. One of them sounds older than the others, and he's also the one who's being attacked.' He looked past the tree and saw the older person getting pushed on a wall by younger guys who seem to be bandits. 'They are heavily armoured. Too bad my armour is almost broken, so I'll just gather some leather really quick. He hunted every cow he could find, made a crafting table and made himself a clumsy leather armour set. 'This should do the trick, I hope..' With an iron greatsword in his hand and some leather armour, Tristam was finally ready to face the bandits. He charged at one of the bandits, knocking him to the ground. He quickly swung his sword at the other bandit, but he was too quick and the attack missed. One of the bandits took out a dagger and ripped off part of Tristam's tunic. 'This is bad, I haven't even hit them once.' He suddenly got an idea. He swung the sword for the bandits' legs, and finally landed a hit on one of them, causing them to fall. He swung his sword as fast as he can towards the fallen bandit, killing him. The second bandit went berserk on Tristam and hit him a few times in the chest. He screamed in pain and started bleeding. Just as the bandit was about the land the final blow, a shield was thrown to the space between the dagger and Tristam's body, sending the dagger flying after it hit the shield. 'Wait, who threw that shield?' Tristam asked himself. Just before passing out, he saw a bearded man stepping towards him and grabbing him. When he woke up, he was in a bed, with no one around. A few potions of instant health were lying on the wooden plank beside him. under the potions there was a piece of paper, saying 'Thank you for saving me. I'm a doctor, you see? Treat yourself well.' Tristam then left the house with a big smile on his face.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital
when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You
approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of
general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that
he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose
prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the
discussion that happens).
Answer: ..The town square.. Probably the most bustling place in Arethor. Tristam was walking along the streets, thoughts were filling his head and he was feeling bored. He heard the sound of the coins rustling in his coin pouch, and it sounds like they say 'Use me! Use me!' Suddenly, his eyes were attracted to a colorful stall, just across the road. A small man welcomed him. 'Hello there, lad! I am a general goods merchant, and I see ye like my shop! Why don't ye take a look at my items!' Tristam was happy that finally, someone is going to end his boredom. 'Sure! What's in your stock?' The merchant quickly responded: 'I sell just about anything! I see that you're a knight, so why don't you take this iron chestplate? It was forged to perfection by the world's best blacksmiths. Ooh, what about this items bag? Ye can store everything in it, from food and drinks to gold and diamonds!' Tristam hesitated for a few seconds. 'Let's see, I want this iron helmet, one bag, 3 cooked porkchops and a pet chicken. How much does it cost?' The merchant laughed out loud, and it kind of disturbed Tristam.
'I don't have set prices in my store, but instead, I let the costumers haggle the prices as much as they want, so.. what do ye think?' Tristam slowly counted his money, and answered: '15 golden coins! 4 for the helmet, 5 for the bag (which will help me out a lot), 1 for every porkchop, which makes it 3, and 3 for the pet chicken.' The merchant smiles happily and said 'It was nice making this deal with you!'
Tristam looked at the items. They were all in fine condition. After he was satisfied from the quality of the items, he went back to his house.

Full Name: Elena Parkville
Current Age: 20
Sub-race (if any): Halfling
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): One fine harvest day, after 9 months of chaos and pandemonium, a baby girl, given the name Elena, was brought into the world. She lived and grew in a community of hardworking halflings, which in itself rubbed off on her nature, and how she saw the world. Occasionally a stranger would wander into their community, and Elena would be forbidden from seeing where he or she was, and as soon as the stranger had left, life would presume as normal. She suspected that her parents were trying to shield her from what came from outside the community, but in the end she dismissed the thoughts and pressed her mind against something that fascinated her beyond belief, the science of Herbalism.
From the early age of 7 she was fascinated by the art of Herbalism, though back then, she had no idea that the feeling of collecting all sorts of plants and flowers, grinding them together into different and randomized pastes and even liquids with added water was a categorized act, let alone a science. As she grew in age and size, so did her love for the subject. Of course, she was still widely interested in farming, as she even had her own personal hoe that she treated with as much care as a sister would to another sister, but she felt that Herbalism was an interest that came from her heart, and she was determined to study it and figure it out to the very end, no matter what, though what her parents felt about this was another problem altogether.
Her parents had noticed her obsession of the subject take over her love for farming, moreover they had hoped at most the 2 would merge, but slowly she was getting more and more into herbalism and less and less out of farming. Her parents knew that she would want to study more, and that one day their daughter would ask to leave the community and study abroad, and they had shielded her from the world for her entire life, to keep her pure, and they were not going to let their precious angel go just yet.
Finally, the day did indeed come where she worked up the courage to ask her parents to allow her to study abroad and learn more of herbalism, the day being her 18th birthday. They at first tried to avoid the subject, badly at that, for they were new to the art of deception, and so they agreed to let her go to study abroad only under the condition that she would truly study properly about it for the next 2 years, and be knowledgeable enough to make a proper living for herself in the outside world.
And soon enough, she learned. She learned and learned and she practiced and practiced and 2 years passed in a heartbeat for her and she thought she knew all that she needed to survive in the outside world, but little that she know that on that boat ride away from home, staring into the horizon, her life was about to change forever.
Ambitions for the Future: To get far enough in herbalism and other related sciences to make her parents and family proud.
Personality: Outgoing, happy, thoughtful, trustworthy
Skills: herbalism, baking, farming, anti-brewing (prone to disaster when brewing potions.)

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Elena strolls across the pavement, admiring the sight of the houses and tall building along with her fortune to be in such a place, when she happened to spot a dark-clothed figure sneaking along towards to what seemed to be some kind of palace, definitely important and definitely housing important people. She first thinks of stopping the man herself, and then she realizes that she has no combat experience and no method of trapping the man. If anything she knows by the way the e looks and is acting, he would kill her without second thought. She then spots the guards within shouting distance, and a quick plan comes to her mind.
Elena strolls up to the man and shouts, “Hey! Are you heading for the palace?”
The man attempts to maneuver out of her way, but she persistently continues to shout “Weren’t you listening!? I said are you heading for the palace!?”
By this point the guards had stopped what they had doing and were strolling towards the pair, and then Elena shouted at the top of her lungs “Woah! That’s a neat looking dagger you got! I hope you don’t use it in the palace!”
At this the guards raced towards the man and pinned him down, swords in hand, and to Elena’s content the man really did have a dagger on him, a dangerous looking one at that. The guards thanked her for alerting them and took the man to what Elena thought would be a jail, and she then sighed happily and continued her stroll.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armor and an iron long sword, how do you react?
Answer: Elena was starving, and the cold wind and shady looking oak trees weren’t helping the general atmosphere. Luckily, she had on herself leather armor which defended her against the cold in a way, along with a heavy iron long sword, which she carried to sell in the local market, if she ever made it out of the forest alive. She then saw what seemed to be chimney smoke, which told her something
‘A house.’
She raced towards the smoke to find a small cobbled cottage, and at this point she hoped to sell the sword or even any of her herbs for a scrap or two of food. It was when she got nearer to the cottage she saw what was taking place, a shakedown. 2 heavily armored bandits threatening an old man, probably the owner of the cottage. She knew she could not fight, and so the long sword was of no use to her, but perhaps her herbs were, she thought to herself. She pulled out a few poison ivy leaves, and set to work.
Elena walked into the open, strolling towards the cottage, pretending to chew on the leaves in her hand, and exclaimed “Oh my! What is going on here!?”
The two bandits eyed each other, and then the Halfling female, then laughed “Hah, 2 in one day? Great! Oi you, hand over your possessions!”
They held back a grin, it was a perfect set up. She exclaimed “Oh no, You mean to rob me of my magical leaves? I was going to be oh so rich too!”
The two bandits gasped “Magic leaves? Hand em over right the fawk now!”
She pretended to cry deeply “Take my leaves, but please, leave any of the old man’s possessions and don’t take mine! You won’t need them once you sell the leaves, you’ll be too rich to care!”
The two looked at each other, and then said “Well, that sounds good then, we’ll accept, just to not make your day any worse. How pathetic you Halflings are, really.”
They left the man’s possessions in a large porch and grabbed the leaves, singing to themselves broken sings as they ran away, and as soon as they were out of earshot, she laughed “Idiots! They really are idiots! They’ll be itching all over by the end of the day, and they’ll sure be angry once they realize the leaves are no magic!”
The old man thanked her greatly and offered her much of his foodstuff, which she happily carried into town, along with her long sword, to sell to some vendor for a few well deserved minas.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colorful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: Elena carried the long sword on her back and finally heaved it onto a table of a colorful stall, and she breathed “How much for it?” and the man examined the sword. “Well, for it I’ll offer you 3 items from my shop, take your pick.”
Elena was surprised that no prices were set but she didn’t complain, instead she looked over the wares, and chose a compass, to navigate around, a map, for the compass, and a pouch of fruits as a travelling snack. On top of it she left a few minas along with the sword because she felt it the right thing to do, thanked the stall owner for his generosity, and strolled on her way, this time having some clue as to where she was going.

Minecraft Account Name: NiveusT
How old are you?: 23
Time-Zone: PST
Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: Yes
What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: On Minecraft, none,
on many other games, a lot. Lord of the Rings Online, I ran a "bandit"
guild with a friend of mine. World of Warcraft, I was the head of a crime syndicate.
How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?:
Friend told me about it, and we decided we'd try it out as it looks
better than quite a lot of the roleplaying servers out there.
Link any applications that you have previously made for the server: None.
Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above): I will.
Have you read the Elven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?: Yes.
Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: Roleplaying, in my opinion, is taking on the role of an individual
either self-formulated, or in existence already. It's literally playing
the role of a character that you want to depict.
Meta-gaming: Using OOC chat or information in character (that your character may or may not know about).
Power-emoting: Similar to what's been called "god moding" in my other roleplaying
worlds... Emoting something that can't be negated by other players in
the same roleplaying instance.
In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Erendur Elendil
Current Age: 123
Sub-race (if any): High Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
As a child, Erendur was generally taken care of by his brother in
Haelun'or, Malinor. As his parents both were members of a sect in an
office for publications, constantly working to heighten their status in
the community for their family name, they generally were not at home as
often as a typical human parent might be. With his brother, he would
constantly engage in swordplay and focus on his studies for herbalism
and jewelcrafting. As he studied however, his brother would sneak up on
him constantly with weapons of all sorts to try and catch Erendur off
guard or scare him, turning him into a nervous and easily frighted young
man. Due to this treatment from his brother, some very distinct
attributes of Erendur's personality came to fruition. Lust for
domination and power (to oust his brother, who thought lesser of him),
slight paranoia and nervousness, as well as vigilance and perseverance
became a solid factor in Erendur's personality.
As a young man, Erendur studied for much of the time, preferring to keep to himself due
to his oddities and how hard it was to make friends for him. He would
spend much of his time applying his magical abilities to his fine crafts
and herbal garden as he read literature about the most powerful High
Elves in history. At this stage, he decided he would try his best to
become powerful, even if it meant being feared. He became somewhat a
bully with those he did come into contact with, but to those he warmed
up to, he was truly loyal. His slight paranoia, however, always kept him
on his toes.
At his current stage in life, Erendur has an aspiration to travel, to gain knowledge, and with that knowledge he hopes he will gain power. From there, he wishes to work towards
establishing a more renowned image of himself. He has great respect for
the Holy Princedom of Malinor and its council of Princes and Princesses,
and hopes to have a chance to meet them all so as to compare himself to
them, if not to surpass them in ability.
One of his current notable pass times is his hope to enhance the architecture of his
people. Though they're made highly of birch wood, so as to stay true to
their natural roots, he prefers the buildings where stone dominates. His
aspiration to travel also includes the idea of bringing home
architectural ideas to his home.
Aside from that, he wishes to perhaps become a part of the Heial’Thilln as the Okarir’Sil due to his love for combat and want for power (through knowing he can strike fear in people with his combat prowess) or as the Okarir'Leyun due to his architectural interests and other such interests (finecraft).
Ambitions for the Future:
Erendur aspires to wealth, glory, and power.
Personality:
Positives -
True friend to those he accepts as a friend.
Perseverance.
Negatives -
Easy to scare, slightly paranoid, somewhat of a bully.
Skills:
Herbalism, Swordcrafting, Jewelry Crafting, ands Swordsplay. (as of yet)
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):
Any other details you wish to share about your character:
(I feel that a good way to build my character is to actually live in the
world... To interact with the world and its players so as to truly build
my character and feel him come alive. Since this is my first character
on this server, and having only read the lore as of so far... It's a tad
hard to feel connected to my character, so it may seem not as fleshed
out and it's not as easy to add anything as of yet. As time goes on, he
will grow.)
Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one
paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as
descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1.
As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering
and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves
are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?
Answer:
Erendur would walk up behind the other High Elves, his light footing from his
overpracticed swordplay making it quite hard for the snickering few to
hear him coming. For a moment he would listen, admiring their chatter
about the wood elf, knowing that they and he, as High Elves, might well
actually be far above the other elf in stature. Despite that, his hunger
for power would kick in, and he'd start smiling to himself in an evil
sort of manner. He'd tap the shoulder of one of the other High Elves,
and laugh at the fright he'd given to the poor fellow. From there, he'd
ask in a demeaning sort of way, "Having fun? I can see why you'd be so
like to make fun of such a fool... Though, while you may be better than
him..." He'd motion towards the wood elf, "you don't seem all that
stately yourselves..." He'd realize that it would seem as though he's
sticking up for the wood elf, "Ah! Don't get me wrong, I too would make
fun of the lowling Elf... He's pathetic. I think it would be more fun to
see what you're actually capable of though, because clearly I surpass
you in many aspects... Care to duel?" At which he'd tilt his head and
smile knowingly, with the cockiness of thinking he's better than them at
their own game.
2. Whilst wandering through the Elven
forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He
collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out
of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground
and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there,
defenseless - what do you do?
Answer:
Erendur would snicker at the old man's frailty, knowing that he would be like
to live longer than he. Though he thinks this way, he knows that his
aspirations to wealth and power mean he may need to take a path of
cunning, and bite his pompous tongue once and a while. Not all power can
be gained through striking fear or doing ungodly deeds to others, as
much as he'd like that... He would walk over to the old man and offer
him a graceful hand, though still show a figure of dominance and
annoyance with his head raised and turned slightly away and his eyes
looking downward at the man. After that, he would offer his own pouch of
coins to the man, which would like to be more than that which spilled
on the floor, "See to it that you get your ailments taken care of, old
man. There's like to be more coin in my pouch than yours, be off with
you now, and be more careful next time." He would keep his "arrogant"
stance as the old man walked away, and wait till there was no one in
sight to start picking up the coins that the old man had dropped and
place them in his pocket.
3. Whilst traversing the
Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored
carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling
you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about
everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for
a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling
for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer:
Erendur would be intrigued by the wares of the man, thinking that there might
be something worthwhile in his carriage to buy to increase his gain for
power or knowledge. He would look at any swords, any books, any herbs,
and any types of jewelry or finecraft that the man had to offer. If
there were no goods to his liking, he would snicker at the carriage, and
wave him off while walking away, completely ignoring anything the man
says. If he enjoyed the idea of buying something from the man, the
haggling would be straight forward and simple for Erendur, as since this
was a chance encounter, not buying something from this man would be as
if never meeting him at all, which doesn't strike him as a loss at all.
The haggling would be something like: "I will offer you this amount of
money for this item, no more, no less, take it or leave it." Later,
since Erendur is so prideful, if he gets ripped off, he will simply toss
the item in the trash with a bit of a condescending glare focused
inward to himself for wasting money. He cares more about the image he
portrays in that he will take what he wants how he wants it, or they
will have nothing. If he gave them too much money, then it will seem as
if he is rich enough to waste money anyway. If he seems to be
unreasonable, he will seem as though he can walk away from a deal as
monetary or materialistic gain is beneath what he truly seeks.

Full Name: Illera'maehr
Current Age: 83
Sub-race (if any): High Elf
Gender: Male
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Illera's childhood was nondescript of High-elven standards, frequently home alone with a caretaker while his parents served the people. Everyone, it seemed, except him.
Raised within the Maehr'Sae by parents within political office, Illera watched his parents change from loving guardians to almost entirely serving the public and grew to dislike the agendas of politics, which in his view only served to limit one's sight further. This countered his hobby, which was to learn anything and everything, or at least attempt to understand as much as was Elvenly possible. As such, when he was 18, Illera left his then frequently empty home to instead take up residence and tutelage under a scholar by the name of Taelu'eloem. Undertaking study of lands beyond the Elven kingdom he learned much, but yearned to learn more.
Upon reaching 22 years of ago Illera travelled to a village in the Whisper Isles to experience first-hand some of what he had read. As Taelu had often taught, "What one reads is never accurate, as emotion and experience transcend paper." During his adventure Illera encountered a group of starving children and, feeling sorry for their plight, gave them several coins for their families to purchase food. It was then that he decided he wanted to accompany his passion for learning with helping those less fortunate. Wanting to learn more beyond the confines of Taelu's hospitality and tutelage, he bid Taelu and his home city of Haelun'or behind with several books, Taelu's smile and respect and a purpose bundled in a bag and slung over his shoulder.
Ambitions for the Future: To teach uneducated and less-fortunate people of all races.
Skills: Perception, instruction, general survival skills (in progress of gaining throughout his travels and the inherent requirement to make do with what is available or made available)
Any other details you wish to share about your character: None, I like to build parts of my character's personality - on top of preexisting personality traits defined above - as I play.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?
Enquire as to what is occurring and prevent harm to the Wood Elf. I would then proceed to why they are mocking the Wood Elf child and try to resolve the situation, despite them being children and not necessarily willing to accept reason.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
Check if the old man is injured and, once stable and accounted for, retrieve his coins and return them to his possession. If offered recompense for my action I would kindly not accept the gift as it was not required for an act of decency.

He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer:
I'd browse his wares for items of use in my journey, whether sooner or later in my travels. I would search his collection for survival items such as food and coal and literary items, or items to aid in literature such as books, quills, ink, parchment. I'd haggle for a brief moment but since items I'd be searching for are considered more of necessity than desire - though desire is riddled throughout the necessity itself - I'd be willing to accept only a slight advantage over the original cost.

What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: I have played of A'therys Ascended for over five months. I used to also play a good amount of Dungeons and Dragons.
How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I had got tired of playing on A'therys Ascended, and I wanted to find another role-play server like A'therys Ascended but with some different things. Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: I would say role-playing is when you take on the role of another player and live the life of another person creating a interesting story.
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming I would say is changing the game/world around you with a sort of cheating. For instance if two people are dating in real life and role-playing with each other. They cannot just say out of the blue their characters are in dating. They would have to role-play into it.
Power-emoting: Power emoting is pretending in a way that your god, and you do what you want with the other people not having a chance of doing anything in return, so for instance "Jo Jo kills Bo Bo" Bo Bo cannot do anything about that, so it ruins the experience for the other player. However the correction to that example would be "Jo Jo attempts to stab Bo Bo in the chest! Bo Bo however quickly throws up his shield and defends himself from the melee attack!"

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer: I tap my foot a few times on the edge of it. Nothing seems to happen so I start to slowly walk across with Storm right behind me. I start to feel the rock beneath me crack. I quickly grab Storm and start running and I start to feel the rock getting worse. The floor is now rock is now starting to fall so I throw Storm as far as I can across the bridge and yell at him "Run Storm!" but he just sits there watching as I'm sprinting towards him. The bridge falls beneath me as soon as I reach the edge so I quickly grab the edge. Storm made it across. "HELP!" I yell as loud as I can, "Someone help me!" Storm peaks over the edge as I try to climb up. Storm grabs the back of my hood with his mouth.
2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?
Answer: I point to the man and yell "Put the dagger down!". He looks at me with an angry face as everyone looks towards him. He starts towards me fast. I put my had on my sword ready to draw it. "That's far enough!" I say not wanting to have to draw my sword. When he gets with in 10 feet I draw my sword and point it at him and he stops. He drops his dagger and falls to the ground. I look where he stood and see a man in all black and he walks away. I look down at the man and he has a dagger in his back right where his heart is. I walk over to the young dwarf and he explains that he is crying because his mother was killed the night before and that he thinks the man on the floor dead is the one who did it.
3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?
Answer: I say back, "You're drunk! I was just in there and I don't think I could drink anymore." He yells at me, "Oh c'mon! Ye'r a dwarf! You could drink more!" "Alright I guess I could have a few more pints of ale." I say back. "GREAT!" he says, "Have one on me!" He hands me a mug of ale and I end up passing out and waking up outside the next morning.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: I would approach this figure and ask him what he’s up to. I would not engage in any fighting until he fights first. He tells me his going to see the Emperor. I would question him some more. Like why? Do you need anything from him that any other person can’t help you with? Why would you need to see the Emperor? I see him getting nervous, shaking everytime he talks. I began to think he’s the undead. I tell him to take his hood off. He does not replay. I try and call for help. Keeping him as far any from the Emperor as I can.
Answer: I would walk up to the bandits and old man and tell the bandits to back off, pointing my sword at them. Telling the old man that I’ll get them away. If they don’t back off then I would get closer to them with the sword. They start to fight me to get to the man. I fight back not killing them but getting them scarred.
Answer: I would walk up to the man and ask him what he has to sell. He tells me “I have food, do ye want some young lad?” I tell the man “Yes I do! I’m starving from walking around every were!” He tells me that he’ll give me 6 pieces of stake for 10 minas. WOW! I say “For 6 pieces! Other places it about 30 minas!” I offered him 20 minas for 10 pieces. Thinking that It was a good deal. He tries to go lower! “How bout 12 minas” he says. It would feel like stealing if I said yes. But I did any ways. Offering the man anyother way I cant help. He said nope. “Im in a great mood today!” he says. I say “Thank You!” And continue on my way.
Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!: Role-playing: The act of using the lore of the world that you're in to become another person. Most times the person that you make is an ideal that you have of a better person than yourself.
Metagaming: Using out of character knowledge to act to something in character like picking the red box over the blue because you know that a nicer sword is in the red box than the shield in the blue.
Power-emoting: The act of forcing someone to do something that they don’t want to do in game like saying that that person is incapble of hurting you no matter what, or forcing them to dance. Stuff like that is a big no no.

Full Name: Rune J Fireheart
Current Age: 22
Sub-race (if any): None
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): (I will be using the first person...)
I was a normal kid, sort of. I had a Mom and Dad and a Brother Jack Fireheart. So you're probably wondering why I have such a weird name, well its like this, I was born in tavern somewhere on the road and when I was born my Dad got drunk for the first and last time in his life. Well when you’re drunk you don’t make the most sain calls and my mom was too tired to really care. My brother Jack was born a short time afterwards so I am only about a year older than him. When I turned six my mom died to an arrow from a skeleton, but it was a mercy because she was sick... My dad had to go off for work about a year after that, but he never came back... so at age 7 I had to take care of my 6 year old brother. We lived in the slums of Arethor, working odd jobs just to live. At first it was just me working and my brother would beg on the streets. Then he turned 8 and wanted to work too and I was not going to stop him. My favorite job was working in a Blacksmiths shop... I can not remember the name but all I know is even though I was just sweeping I loved being in there. I saw how the smith made hooks and knives and other things but I was always pushed out before I got to see to much. My second favorite job is that time me and Jack went to a farm to help collect the crop. It was relaxing. One day my brother got into a scrape with one of the slums kinds near the market distract. I could not get there in time before he was being beat down, he put up a good fight but one of the kids had a knife and got him on the leg. Then a soldier came in and sent them away and carried my brother to the potion stall and paid for a potion to help him heal. My brother saw this and asked him if when he turned of age, if that soldier would recommend him to the military, the soldier said sure as long as he did it knowing what he was getting into he would help him. That was his way out of the slums, but not my out. I had to wait till I was 21 before I could get out of there.. When a blacksmith rolled into town. I knew this was my out, just like Jack had gotten. So I went and begged to be taken as an apprentice, he said no but I kept asking until he broke down and said yes. I had been trained for a year before the old man died. Now I am on my own again... Maybe now I can find my brother, find out what happened to him after he left when he join the army...
Ambitions for the Future: Become one of the great smiths, and find his brother(I won’t ever be able to do that though...Since I made him up soo... Yeah...)
Personality: Morning person, happy. Strange given his life but the hottest flames make the strongest steel.
Skills: Mother taught him how to tailor, and his Master taught him the basics.
Any other details you wish to share about your character: One time he sold a blade to a swordsman's apprentice for a few lessons so that is how he learned how to fight

Whilst
in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily
making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no
good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Something tells me in the back of my mind that I shouldn’t deal with that guy... Ah, looks like I have no choice! “Guards!” I yelled with the mightiest yell I could muster but then I pulled out a sword and he a dagger. Then the shady guy then throws a bag of Minas into the street, causing a feeding frenzy with the local beggars the perfect distraction for the guards. ”Um, well this is, I got to get out of here!” I ran for the crowd in the hopes that I would lose him “Ow, watch it! Thank the Creator I am out of that mess, lets hope I lost him.” Then the man arrives out of the crowd, I could tell what I thought, but children might be reading this so.. No way ”No witnesses.” The man said in the iciest voice that I had ever heard. ”Looks like I have no choice... Let do it!” Luckily I have picked up some lessons in exchange for the swords that I made. Blades clash time and again, as the dance of dodging and attacking begins as it has been since the dawn of war. In my mind I think “That swordsman (at the time I did not know he was just an apprentice) only taught me one move, How to get the weapon out of the opponent's hand, Umm what was it ag..” As the blade nearly cuts my jugular I have only enough time for one thought, “That was to close.. Right I remember now! Now I have to move left and duck! This is going to hurt, now stab his hand!” I made a quick prayer as a felt the sting of blade sinking into my flesh it was worth it because I got a blow to his hand, as we both cry out in pain I yell “Medic” as I take this chance to stab the shady man in the side and use my sword to pin him there. My vision darkens as I hear a great bit of yelling and the clink clank of armor. Then I woke up in a guard tower. “He is waking up... Do you know how lucky you are right now? Good thing that the crowd settled down when they did otherwise you would not have made it. That gash was nearly the end of you.” Said a gruff but warm voice. I spoke once “Does this mean that I can sleep in a hotel tonight.. That would be nice..” I slept for the next few days until my wounds were mostly healed. I never heard what happened to the Shady man, not that I much care, but I did hear of a hanging, maybe he was hanged when I left.
Answer:
I remain calm and do not jump to battle, besides I doubt I could take on the bandits unless I could jump them. I Could sneak up behind them and kill the first one, but how? That armor does look like it is weaker in the back, poor saps. The smith who made that for them scammed them by only making the back tough enough to stop a dull blade, a sharp one like mine could kill them. But how do I get to them without making a sound, there are twigs everywhere! Wait... I got an idea, “Hey Bandits!” I yelled. “What! Where did this rat come from.. No matter first we deal with him then the old man..” The two men greedily looking at my things, I hope this works “Yeah.. That's a real nice sword he has there...” “Wait! What if I told you that your armor is defective?” I tried to remain calm as the got closer. “It is.... wel..” the second stronger one started to say before the first butted in, “Don’t listen to him, he is just stalling. Let’s kill him now and be done with it.” This is my last chance,“I can prove it! Just listen!” “I think we should, it seems like the rat is telling the truth, besides if he is not, then we can just kill him. How is it defective?” Thank the Creator that this one was the leader I thought. “Your back plating is.. Well to put it lightly, crap. You are so vulnerable to an attack from behind that a dead man with a sharpened cheese knife could do you in. Just let me reforge and in exchange you let me and the old man go. “You’re not even considering this are you?” He tried to convince his buddy but at last the seemingly leader of the two said “Yes I am, If you want some hero to come along and kill you be stabbing you in the back, that is fine by me. I want to live, but in case you're not telling the truth, I am taking the old man as collateral.” With a breath of semi relief I said “Deal, I guess.” After a long reforging process in the closest forge we got back to the other bandit holding the old man hostage. He certainly looked less imposing without his armor, but they could still kill me, and more important then that I am a man of my word.
“Now I warn you it is going to be heavier than when you last had it on, so I recommend not robbing anyone until you two get a feel for the additional weight. It might throw you off balance.” He said to me “It feels fine, now lets get before the next patrol comes by.” They left and we both sat and waited a bit, until the Old Man broke the ice. “Thanks for saving my life, but why did you make them more dangerous just for an old man like me.” He said with a voice that seemed to slowly fade as he spoke. I responded “I didn’t, I know a bit about how to tailor, so I loosened the leather straps and made the armor weaker in the lower waist, they have about I would say... 3 days before that stuff falls apart. Just in case here is my last Minas, go to town and rent a room there, and be safe, Take care!” I ran off after that hearing the vaguest sound of a something like Thank you.. Hmm, thats new.. Never was thanked before my adventures...
Answer:
I would walk up to the stand his collection of metals. He would show me a colorful display of iron from the different areas, then I would notice that one of them is better than the rest with my keen eye for metal I would notice that it was, while not impressive on the outside, a rare metal that is easier to sharpen and is quite useful. This is how you reduce a price on metal with an unknowing merchant.
“Hmm.... It doesn’t seem there is anything of real value here, at least when making a weapon... I do need some cheap iron to weight my boots down with.. Hmm...” I pointed at the rare metal “That one will do.” I said while trying to contain my excitement. He said “That will be 50 Minas,” That is a good deal but I knew I could get lower, “No way, this hunk of junk is the only thing on this cart that barely passes for iron fillings for shoes., it might as well be gold when it comes to strength, 20 Minas, “Nothing on my stand is junk! 40 Minas!” he said, now I was in trouble until I saw it .
I noticed another iron that is really flexible, when crafted by a master it is a good light armor, and an apprentice can use it to get deals, so I used this opportunity to bend the metal while he is watching and he gasped in disbelief. Here was my chance, “Want me to do this with your customers watching...” Now to draw a crowd, time to yell, “Everyone!” Before I had a chance to finish he said the words I wanted to hear “30 Minas!” “Sold!” I said but now a group gathered, one man asked me “What is it?,”and all I could muster was “umm, his deals are great.... He he he....”
I walked away in shame, vowing to not go back to that merchant ever.. Now later I got to thinking “At least I got this bad boy, and at a steal too... Wait a minute... That was nearly all my money right there... How am I supposed to get the rest of the materials and find a forge, Or eat for that matter. Just my luck, Maybe I can find a dwarf somewhere to sell this too.... Maybe I could get some lessons with it!”

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:
This character, is someone who wants to lead a quaint life, and its something I can easily enjoy. ))

____

Sub-race (if any):Dark Elf
Past / History (include
childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
I was born in a good family we
haven’t got a lot of money, but our home always was clean and friendly. Like
most other elves my maln and haelun gave me my first sil and berr. I also
learned a lot about farming(as we lived on a farm). That was my easy and safety
childhood. Everything have changed since I become a 18 year old Elf.
A strange Orc came to live
near us. All my friends told me that he was completely crazy. One day he came
to watch us training in a fight(we did that by our own). When eventually he attacked me and left an ugly scar on my
face. Since that time I started wearing a red mask with white eyes to be able
to see and talk properly. Then I started thinking about revenge only.
After some years I get used to
my mask and my white clothes that I put on straight after the accident. But
still I was thinking only about revenge. When accidently I was luck to know
that he stopped near us again. The next night I took the best weapons from our
home and went to kill him. And I did it. Oh how happy I was that was the best
night in my life. Finally REVENGE.
Now I am seeking for a new beginning
in my life…

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: Role-playing is creating a character and every aspect of him or her. Then you insert that character into a fantasy world where your character interacts with other characters. When you role-play you do what your character would do in a situation, not what you would do.
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is using knowledge outside of the role-playing world, or knowledge that you as a person in real life learned, and then applying it to your own character who has no way of knowing that.
Power-emoting: Power-emoting is the act of enforcing an action upon other players so they may only react in the way you want them to and expect them to. Power-emoting can also be taking out items that you never specified having.

Complete the following biography on your character:

With that Asphodeus hands the honest merchant ninety five minas and scurries to Lenfarthing with his new instrumental string.

servers. As I was browsing, I suddenly noticed this server, so a
thought came to my head, telling me to try it. This is how I ended here.

Any other details you wish to share about your character: No need, thank you.

You

general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that
he has no set prices.

Complete the following biography on your character:

____

Complete the following biography on your character:
As time goes on, he
will grow.)
Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one
paragraph which must describe the event in full.

Complete the following biography on your character:

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
Answer:
Answer:
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares.

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Me: Hello good shop keep, how are you on this fine day?
Shop keep: I am doing wonderful, and please take a good look at my goods for sale! Surely something will catch your eye!
Me: Well I saw your basket of bread, and was actually wondering what you would sell me it for, I was hoping to maybe get it for about four minas?
Shop keep: That basket alone is four minas! I would be losing profit in that. The bread however I would sell for about two minas.
Me: Well, six coins don't you think that is mighty high for only a basket of bread? How about we go for four minas, honestly two minas just for bread.
Shop keep: Well, I do see where you are coming from however, that is still not worth it!
Me: Okay then, lets just come to a compromise and go for five minas?

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: The act of using the lore of the world that you're in to become another person.

Let do it!”
Luckily I have picked up some lessons in exchange for the swords that I made. This is going to hurt, now stab his hand!”
I made a quick prayer as a felt the sting of blade sinking into my flesh it was worth it because I got a blow to his hand, as we both cry out in pain I yell “Medic” as I take this chance to stab the shady man in the side and use my sword to pin him there.
Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in
which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old
man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed
bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather
armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Just listen!”
“I think we should, it seems like the rat is telling the truth, besides if he is not, then we can just kill him.
3.
You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a
small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and
notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that
he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is
willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do?
(Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that
happens).
Answer:
I would walk up to the stand his collection of metals. He would show me
a colorful display of iron from the different areas, then I would
notice that one of them is better than the rest with my keen eye for
metal I would notice that it was, while not impressive on the outside, a
rare metal that is easier to sharpen and is quite useful.

I'd say about 2-3+ hours a day. So, probably no less then 15 and more then 30/week.

Well, I've played a LOT of World of Warcraft in my days. And various other games that require teamwork and "doing your part" for the greater good. I've never done any Roleplaying outside video games, but I've always thought it would be a lot of fun. I'd say I've been playing RPGs for about 5 years.

I tend to not set expectations, but rather, be hopeful!

All I've heard is what I've read.... which is a lot.(on your site)
