Congratulations Titus, you will be the first man. This grants you access to my pleasure gardens in Eden, not really. You have been white-listed you may now go forth and do as the men do. Name each thing upon the earth and have many offspring for you are the world's first father.

I wouldn't mind being an admin, as long as I get to play a large role in creating ancient Rome. I guess I will talk to you more about admin responsibilities in-game?

I just put that at the top of the forum post. For now you can download the Technic Launcher and play Vanilla from there since it's still set on 1.3.2. Hope that helps.

You are strictly unaffiliated with mortal qualms as an admin so you'll have to be a player in order to create a nation. Thanks for the reply though . Can't wait to see you on.

Not quite, we're currently pre-Roman, or Roman empire anyway. The Etruscan who precede the Romans might be a viable nation (and can become Romans eventually). The Romans are a part of Classical antiquity but they come near the end, the current phase is a coming to be of the first nations. The likes of the Macedonians, Corinthians, Spartans, Cretans, Thracians and Athenians would make up Greek city states (there is no pan-Hellenic nation). Now go forth Maglio (you have been white-listed).
I'd also like to mention that after the first peoples long 'multi-layer' names would be a desirable. Have 5 names if you want, it adds character. (Like; Quintus Fabricus Luccius Epedieres)
Do you still want to be an admin? You can apply as a player otherwise (I'll white-list you anyways).

You have already been accepted but thank you very much for applying. I hope Sandy's not too much of a bother and make sure you watch out for trains flying through your window.

Your name doesn't seem appropriate, try going for something a bit more ancient. Jacklen Drake is more Northern European and post-Latin. Considering the world is still pre-Latin you'd want a name with less relation to that language. As for your knowledge of classical antiquity much isn't required but I recommend you look it up on google so you better understand the time period the server theme is set to. You'd be breaking theme fairly easily without even knowing it if you don't have firm grasp on the basics on the time period. Once you pick a new name you will be accepted.
Thank you, it's always been something I felt was missing from Minecraft. Once the server gains a bit more traction I'll expand upon the concept. I think the basics are there. Players should understand how to make a nation, go to war and the role-play theme. The server is also set to a mortals-and-gods kind of theme with the admins and players. I'm hoping there will be more players than admins so it seems more like a hierarchy and I can make the admin position a but more unavailable (right now it's fairly open).

So am I an Etruscan? I'm in AP Art History so I just need to know where I am.

You're pretty much in the modern day Lazio (Rome) / Tuscany area. Technically speaking the Etruscans were further up the Tiber river than the Romans from what I can remember but since the Tiber doesn't even show up on the map that's negligible, when you go into the world take the teleport to Latium, that's pretty much around where you'd want to settle. Speaking of teleports you get a single teleport into the world and to put it simply 'Never again'. The intial teleport is from the overworld to the mortal world where players begin. Hope that helps.
editted. do I have to downgrade to play on it though?
Yes, for now you can use the Technic Launcher since it's vanilla game is still set to 1.3.2 (a lot less complicated), also change your name and learn a bit about Classical antiquity so you understand the role-play theme. The name 'Jacklen Drake' would be fine if it was medieval or onward roleplay but it's Classical and that name comes from a language that doesn't exist during this time period.
Pheonix still sounds out of theme. I'd recommend you look at the names of previous posters (Titus, Octavian, etc). Search up Mesopotamian, ancient Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Persian, etc names to use. The names you're choosing are developed too late from the server's proposed time period. I'm not trying to be difficult but I just have to make sure this is easily understood early on.
