Our wilderness spawn is specifically made to encourage players to fight! It is up in the air, to avoid PvP hopping, and has many different exits so that new players can run in any direction they want. Currently, the wilderness world is 4000x4000, but will be expanded over time. The warzone where players cannot build ranges 500 blocks away from (0,0). A random teleporter is available so that players that cannot escape may have a chance to start.
Our ranking system is specially designed to allow players to progress and unlock more areas of the game. We currently have 8 ranks, each with their own perks. Although each rank provides new helpful perks to make the game easier, none of them directly influence PvP. Rank progression unlocks perks that assist you, but do not influence your strength. For example, the hourly reward for being online increases throughout the rank, allowing you to make more money easier. Some ranks grant you access to helpful things, like ender chests. Others will allow you to enter new areas, such as shops, mob grinders, and other helpful things.

We are currently in the progress of adding many more minigames for players to enjoy! We will be adding the following: CTF Arena, Spleef, FFA, Mob Arena
We currently have 1v1 PvP Available for players to test their skills against others. In order to play, just go to spawn and walk over to the PvP building. Once inside, you can queue up and be thrown into our arenas to play.
Players can easily rent and build their own shops to be able to trade with others. Renting is easy, simply go to one of the signs located in front of each lot and right click it. This will rent it for 1 week, and right clicking it again will add another week. Within this week, you can build a shop 10 blocks high, or 10 blocks down. Once the week is up, the plot will be automatically reset. In order to avoid losing items, it is advised to keep a close watch and remove all blocks before the reset occurs. All shops must be aesthetically pleasing and built nicely. Shops that are damaged or ugly will be destroyed after several warnings are given. The plots towards the front are a more expensive $500 per week, while towards the back it is less, at $300. The final two rows allow players to purchase a plot permanently, but is much more expensive.
There are only 3 ways to make money on Golden Ages. The first is PvP, when a player is killed in PvP, 5% of his wealth is dropped on the floor for you to take. Another way is by activity, simply being online will give you money. the last way is through player interaction. Players can buy and sell each other things by using /pay.
McMMO skills are a crucial part of the progression system at Golden Ages. McMMo has been configured very carefully, as to not allow players to become too powerful or too rich through the use of them. Progression of these skills is much slower than set by default, and can only be quickened by Server Wide Experience Doubling available in the Webstore.
We currently have several plugins installed to avoid cheating. Our plugins disallow hacks such as flying, the spawning of items, and tools used to gain an edge in PvP. While these plugins are not perfect, we also rely on players to help us out. If you spot a player cheating or using hacks, please record, take screenshots, and notify an admin. You can submit a player report by clicking "Applications" on the top navigation bar and selecting "Report a Player".
Our ban management is handled in game, and through the forums. All actions taken against a player can be checked using the applet for bans. This can be reached by clicking "Server" in the navigation bar and selecting "Bans". If you have been banned, there are several options. First, you can submit a ban appeal by clicking "Ban Appeal" under Applications in the navigation bar. Another option is to directly contact an administrator. Administrators are not required to attend to ban appeals made this way, but you may contact one through private messages or discord to speed up the process. Depending on the reason, you may be eligible to donate to get unbanned.
We take support very seriously. There are many different ways to gain support for an issue. If the issue is very important and involves information that cannot be shared with others, please email [email protected], or contact an administrator in any way you can. For general questions and help, contact a helper or moderator in game and they will assist you. If you still need further support, submit a support ticket.
