    The web hosting is most likely just a resellers, so the problems aren't theirs. I would assume the new ownership resulted in an under-staffed support team, and lack of proactive monitoring on their nodes. If they aren't communicating, then leave, they obviously don't care about the customers. FPSBox is who took over MCLayer, so I would complain to them directly.

    No point in complaining to FPSBox. They lost me as a customer two weeks ago. I now have a dedicated server hosted directly by a data center. No hosting middleman to deal with at all! I have total control over everything. It is definitely costing me more money but it's worth it not having to rely on anyone to keep my server up. Thanks for the info though about who bought MCLayer. I honestly wish FPSBox all the best. I am sure they are simply adjusting to having just bought MCLayer. Before I leave this thread for good, if FPSBox can deliver the same kind of performance and customer support as the previous owners, then they've got a good future ahead of them. I've tried MPServ, Provision Host, and Lethal Drive in the past. MCLayer was the best!

    my post keep being deleted, 6 time now

    Don't do business with minecraftlayer, since the new owner my FTP and Multicraft server have been down for 6 day now.

    No way to get my map out of there soo all the time whe put in the map have been lost. i've tried to contact the new owner and i only got a automated message.

    and now the server itself is down.

    I am pretty disappointed in the method that this is being handled. Being a player on this server, I have never seen such a disregard for its customers and their communities. Due to the lack of FTP access, we had no way to back up the server. We have lost countless hours of playtime because of the misconducts of the operators. We have switched to another provider for our hosting needs.

    I recommend you do the same.

    Note to admin: Please stop deleting negative posts? It is childish and very misleading to the population. You want customers, provide an ounce of customer service.

    I was previously with MCLayer too. However, I had countless problems with them not replying and my server being deleted. I then went and checked out PlugPayPlay.com and I've not had a single problem since I got my server with them

    I am trying to start a petition thread to get people together citing that their hosts have been offline for almost a week now.
    Paypal disputes against servers are hard, and i just paid $190 as random hoping i would get my map back, but alas, after i pay up i get no more contact. hopefully if a lot of people all agree that minecraftlayer went down the drain, they will agree with our dispute requests, seeing obviously that minecraftlayer went AWOL.
    If you have been screwed by these guys, please post a little tidbit here.
    They might delete the posts on their own forum, but they seem so lazy i doubt they will do anything.

    Server's also down, and the node to bring it up is down as well. Cease ordering from this company. They were my favorite by far but now they are just awful.

    Do not buy from this company. It was purchased by a new owner and he is basically running the company to the ground. Multicraft and FTP have been down for weeks. All support requests are ignored and he is holding all his customers' world files hostage. I have moved on to a new hosting and have been trying desperately to obtain my files. My world was a year-and-a-half of builds. I have young children who are devastated over losing all their builds.

    My server went down today. I wish I would of read the forums sooner. Now I am stuck with a world save from last Sunday and nothing I can do until I get a new host. The bad thing is that I had funds in there and they are now just there. I really hope the owners will do the right thing and let us have our worlds back.

    Do not buy from this comapny.

    They sold off without even informing the clients. They did not plan the safe transfer of clients with the new owner and the new owner is doing nothing for us! This place is a DEAD PIT

    Do NOT waste your money.

    I am moving as soon as they finally get the panels back up as I can get an up-to-date backup!

    I will be leaving this company and moving to a different company when I can get into the control panel again... I have people to add to my server, i want to back-up my server and fix a couple other things... I can't believe they are doing this to all of us :/

    I used to rent from these guys last fall but had to shut down my server. On March 9th, I decided I wanted to host again when I was cleaning out my email and found the saved emails from them. I head over to their site and and rent a server since I had a great experience with them in the past. Well, it's now the 12th and server is still pending and no contact from support. I filed a claim with PayPal and hope that gets taken care of. Avoid these guys at all costs, nothing but a scam now.

    You should be good, PayPal got me my money from MClayer back that way.

    Downright the WORST hoster I have EVER seen. First off, about two months ago, I can't access the control panel. It says:

    Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to multicraft.mclayer.com


    and I was confused, and I could not access my plugins or maps. Next, my server randomly shuts down, not being able to access it. About 3 weeks later, I get an e-mail asking to pay an invoice that was not paid. I went to the link given, yet it said: Account Suspended. I was VERY miffed about that. ANOTHER week later, it automatically TAKES my money, not turning on my server OR Control Panel. I am SEVERELY angered at MCLayer for, how should I put this, ripping me off. Another thing that shifted my mood, was that I sent, so far, 11 e-mails having to do with this and NONE of them have been replied to. I would like either a phone number to contact MCLayer to make sure I get assistance, or a reply on this forum thread as to why MCLayer, getting all these good reviews, is taking peoples' money.

    Just make a paypal claim. That's what I did. They are so unorganized and backup up at this point that they never even responded to the claim and after time I won it...

    The reason the reviews are so amazing, is because it WAS amazing, then just kinda... went down... and failed horribly. Which is a shame, because they were, in my opinion, one of the best hosts there was. Don't buy from them now, the magic is over.

    WARNING! This is a complete scam! Take it from me, these guys take weeks to setup your server! When it's setup, they can't even get it running for more then 1 day. Your basically paying for 1 day.

    KEEP AWAY, you've been warned...

    Btw op, disputing all my servers in a bit :)

    the original owners were GREAT! but since selling my server has been down and I paid for one year subscription. my sub ends in Aug 2013 and the server hasn't been working since Dec 2012! Tried to claim a dispute with paypal but they wont help because it is passed the timeframe of when you can dispute a transaction.
