I have been using this host for almost 2 years up until about the last month or 2 they where great i started having issues sadly i had to move to another host Great host for beginner server owners.
Most of my experience with the Support team has been great, and I don't get what you guys are talking about. My only comment is the fact I've only delt with one service guy. I thought I would be dealing with different people considering I had different problems relating too different purchases. Either way I have enjoyed and appreciated the help that they have given me. But again if you are looking for a lot of help, they aren't the greatest, but for what there price is it's sorta a win win anyways.
We have this service as a hosting provider. So far it hasn't been bad until last night. Our server went down at about 10 pm, we notified them via their ticketing system. About 3 hours later we got a response stating "We are currently experiencing IP connectivity issues on the IP block you are on. Please standby for updates." Now it has been almost 24 hours since its been down, we have left multiple responses in our ticket requesting info on whats going on and have received no info whatsoever. I can't think of any other reason not to respond to us other than they are ignoring me. Its to bad I have to leave this kind of post in a public forum. Figured i would share our experience though in case others would face this issue
We had an issue regarding a section of our network that caused a couple issues on some IP addresses we use for Minecraft. I personally apologize for the support delay as we're a tad short staffed right now.

Man, I don't know what you guys are talking about! I have been using this host for about 2 years now, have run several servers with them, notably my vanilla server. Through all my experiences with server hosting and support and whatnot, these guys are BY FAR the best. Their customer support is probably one of their absolute best features, along with their cheap prices and great servers. They have never taken more than a day to respond, most of the time responses are instantaneous. Server's went down maybe once or twice in the 2 years my server has been running on them.
No, I am not advertising for them, just sharing my experiences. I will definitely recommend you guys! Keep up the stellar work!
I do agree with Tom, they are a great server host but right now there response time is seriously not good. I've been waiting for a response for over 19 hours now. As it seems my server is under a DDOs attack, and this is costing me a lot of time, and money. I need to get my server back up for my players.

I'm also having problems at the moment, opened a ticket and it said it was "answered" but there was no response and my problem is still happening. Not able to connect to my VPS server what so ever, my server has been offline all day, still waiting on an actual response.
Due to different hosts that i have tired Sucked i may buy another server from you guys However i opened a billing ticket 7 hours ago if you are short staffed you should higher more people.

Would not recommend. Had an issue about 3 months ago, called to cancel account. Was smart (thank god) and blocked them from taking money from my paypal. 3 months later, they send me an email about having placed an order for a $10/month service, and started trying to charge me. I'm getting monthly reminders that my bill is past due (because I blocked them on paypal) and I cannot get ANYONE who knows what they are doing to respond to my ticket. They are willing to keep me jumping through hoops I already jumped through as long as they can, to keep trying to take my money. I'm currently trying to find their physical address so I can complain to BBB.

I've already talked to someone, in person, who confirmed my ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED. I guess someone who is paid to represent you lied to me. Now I'm being told to jump through hoops that I've already jumped through to fix your problem. If you look below, it has a billing ticket number. This company seems incompetent and willing to be underhanded to keep trying to get money. I will take this up with the BBB. I don't have my username or pw because I closed the account. Reading over this, I could see how frustrated this would make you. I would be extremely frustrated as well in this situation. It seems most likely that there is some communication problem between our various departments. I will personally look into this and see what is going on here.
I was able to investigate and find out what happened here. Apparently you had previously had a minecraft service with us. At that time, we had been giving out free web hosting to anyone with a minecraft service. Later on, you had cancelled the minecraft service without cancelling the web hosting service. Because the free hosting only applies to customers with an active minecraft service, the free hosting was upgraded to the next higher tier.
Of course, you're under no obligation to pay for the web hosting if you don't want it, but also you should not be getting it for free either. It seemed reasonable to let you decide if you wanted to keep it or not, rather than terminating the web hosting when we didn't know whether or not you needed to back up any of your data.
I'm sorry that our communication on this issue left much to be desired. Looking over the ticket history I can see that we could have done a much better job of communicating what was going on here and letting you know what your options were. Because you've let us know that you don't want this service, we've cancelled the hosting account and cancelled the outstanding invoice. If you need anything else for this, please let me know and I'll do my best to assist.
I did tell the person on the phone at the initial cancellation that I wanted to cancel everything. He said it was done. Looks like it was his mistake. Thank you very much for getting back to me and fixing this. I was pulling my hair out.
Waiting on responce on a ticket about filezilla, and a customj jar. My filezilla anything that i transfer plugin wise manages to be broken, and i need to be set back to my custom jar with the permgen enabled. So that I can fix the server which was broken due to the filezilla issue
DemonVPS do you offer any web hosting with solo 512mb package as you used to in past? because my server is non-profit so I find it difficult to spend more money for web hosting.

Is there anyway to downgrade the minecraft version that a server is running on. We are looking to downgrade from 1.8.3 back to 1.8.
