Server Support: Answers in MINUTES vs hours with other services.
Server Hardware: SSD's are blazing, and Memory is handled well.
Server Panel: MultiCraft, good service, standard normal line for most hosts.
Performance: Installed a 300MB jungle only map on the server, kicked it up, and the server didn't even balk at it. Just kept right on a hummin away.
Server I purchased: Large, 2GB service. Have quite a few plugins loaded (mostly for economy, MMO, and grief protection), and can hold about 40 people comfortably. Easy to manage the server, easy to install plugins (via the panel, or just uploading your own), simple to use custom maps (just upload, and go).
And, they have reward points and drawings. I'm loving that!
In all, I was a bit leery about trusting someone to whom it took quite a bit of effort to find, and lack of reviews to use, but I am not disappointed in any way shape or form. If you are looking for a clean, reliable, and fast support host, one who cares about their people, and one to whom the hardware can back up the claims of us overburdened server admins, look no farther than NodeCraft.
I came here from my previous host which shall remain nameless, I had a lot of problems there and decided to search for another host. While doing so I found Nodecraft.
At first I was a little cautious, these guys had barely any replies on their topic and the review above me was made by someone with just two posts on these forums, googling them didn't find me a lot of reviews but I decided to test it and contacted their live support. Not expecting to be able to put through to someone within 5 hours I found myself waiting less than a minute before I was talking to someone! And guess! This was someone who spoke proper english and NOT some sort of indian support guy ala EA.
Their server setup was fast, I needed some small help because of a payment and they were able to help me out very quickly. Within minutes of ordering the server I was online and had acces to the ftp. I started setting up the server etc bla bla not so interesting.
Anyway, it's been a couple days now and my server is back on track after the failure of my previous host. We now have 30+ players without even thinking about lag. Seriously, the hardware these guys use is incredible! My server was using only 1.3gb of ram with 34 players online and some heavy plugins like nocheatplus, mcmmo and logblock running.
I can really vouch for these guys, good support, good website and most of good servers. The SSD's are really fast and multicraft is nice to use.
^Because noone can be 100% perfect, and I don't want this to look fake
Hey, I have been looking at your site for the past couple of days and have been thinking about getting a server from you guys. Just curious, where should I go to look for current promo codes/deals? Also, if I need to upgrade my plan with more RAM midway through the month, can I do that?
Thanks in advance for the reply!
We don't have any current promotions just yet, but we will be launching our spring sale pretty soon. Drop by our website and talk to us on Live Chat and I'll see what I can do for you. Also to answer your question: you can upgrade any time and the promotion you are using will retain the savings, but you'll be billed on a prorata fee. That means if you pay $10 on the 1st of each month and you want to double your ram on the 15th: you'll only be billed $5 extra that month for the upgrade and then $20 on the 1st of the next month.
I have been a customer of both Nodecraft's Minecraft server hosting and web hosting, and I can honestly say that I couldn't be happier. The very fact that I put in the effort in finding my old password for this website, just so I could post a review should be enough to tell you that this company is fantastic.
Not only are their servers entirely reliable and fast, but their level of customer service is the best in the industry! As others have said, you usually get a reply from a service representative within minutes of putting a request for help in. They are incredibly responsible, super-friendly, and overall amazingly helpful.
In this case, the old saying "you get what you pay for" does not apply. With Nodecraft, you get the same results (and more!) for a fraction of the cost that you would on more expensive hosts. Forget the other hosts, I've been with several. This company out-performs them by a mile!
Hello! I just wanted to leave a testimonial of my experience with Nodecraft hosting. To sum it up in one word, exceptional. I had been hosted a tiny server for my friends for a long time off my home computer, meaning it was only online when I was. As I became more experienced with server hosting and the administration of MineCraft servers, I decided to host it online full-time. I talked with a friend who I met through his youtube channel who was also starting a server of his own and expressed my own interest of starting one. He told me about NodeCraft. The first thing that I noticed about NodeCraft was their amazing prices. To this date, I haven't seen anything that could rival those prices from any other server provider I've looked at. For the services the offer, the price per gigabyte was truly great. Once I had the server started, another really positive point was the stellar customer support. Their live chat is almost always available when I need it and their skilled and experienced service representatives helped me through any problems I had quickly and without problem, from updating to the newest dev build to configuring my dynmap.
I would highly recommend nodecraft to anyone who is looking to start a MineCraft server and hope that they continue to offer the amazing service that they have offered to me long into the future.
I purchased a medium sized server from these guys just a few days ago, and I'm very impressed with the quality servers and support offered by Nodecraft. My tickets have been answered in under 20 minutes and I can almost always join a live chat to obtain more information regarding my server.
I've played Minecraft since BETA 1.4 and have dealt with many popular hosts (including VOLT); needless to say, there is no competition from my point of view. Nodecraft has done an outstanding job setting up their hosting business, and I look forward to dealing with them for as long as my server remains open.

As a Co-Owner for a server hosted on Getnodecraft I have found it very problematic recently. Over the last 2 days the server has gone down THREE times. Unfortunately our main owner with the support log in details isn't reachable at the moment, but i have spoken to the live chat yesterday and even through the server came back up, they couldn't help but make a note on the account.
Now the server has gone down again and multicraft is practically useless for the THIRD time, the support people don't want to know unless I have the login details. Why do they need the login details to see that there is a problem with their servers?
I have tried to use the Live Chat function only to find a unloaded image icon and the button doesn't link to anything.
I have am losing faith in getnodecraft.
I am wondering how many of these needless crashes is going to corrupt our map and player data.
I apologize for any problems you may have encountered. It's a matter of account security unless you are added to the account as an authorized user. If we just let anyone say they are a co-owner or a part of the server then people could pretty much request that we do anything they ask by knowing the server address. There are large web hosting companies and other gaming companies that have fell victim to this.
The realistic problem would be due to a possible mis-configuration in the plugins configuration combined with the fact we still don't have a stable release for bukkit. A lot of plugins are generating errors or are constantly updating with the stream of updates to bukkit. All we can really do is keep the hardware and network connected and the rest is up to you. We don't overload our servers as their average load rarely ever peaks over 2.0 in CPU usage and averages at a good 1.3.
We have no guarantee for live chat support, however respond quickly to any and all tickets. We can not monitor each and every server to watch for crashes as 99 times out of 100: the issue is due to a mis-configuration of plugins or an error related to the version of Bukkit the server is running. I'm not trying to say we cannot help you, I'm trying to say there are a lot of variables to account for. If our servers were the cause of the crashes then each and every server on your server would crash, which has not been the case. Feel free to have the server owner contact us when he's available and we'll be happy to do everything we can to assist.
