Currently in the process of getting our new SSD partioned, and moving all our servers across to there (on Zeus). Will be a very brief outage (no more than 5 minutes) of service, but there will be a huge performance boost.
EDIT: Update complete. All our minecraft servers are now running on top a top quality SSD.
I bought a server from nodecraft. It was the first time I ever got a server from a company. I didnt know how to do stuff, but the nodecraft live chat help A LOT. I was able to talk to a james, who is the co-founder who helped me step by step.
The server is VERY good, No lag what so ever and no problems!

I started and continue to run a semi-large minecraft community; CookieCraft. It's a factions-based server with a multitude of plugins, meaning it's pretty server intensive. We have had over 2,000 join the server within a couple of months and quite a few active members. The first month of operation was fine...but then things started to go downhill
I've definitely had my ups and downs with minecraft server hosting in the past. I tried those big client companies like Daddycheese and Beastnode with unfortunately, a horrible outcome. Services we're dreadful and sketchy. It took me an incredible effort to even figure out the hardware my server was running on (which turned out was pretty outdated!). Not to mention, the incredibly slow support; It took at the very least 12 hours to get a response from their 1-method ticket system. This was a horrible thing at many times, our server went down for random reasons and we couldn't find out why until we waited 12 hours. The support pretty much sucked... when we desperately needed help, we received absolutely nothing. It was as if the hosts didnt even know about the game they were trying to offer services for. We needed a change...and then we found Nodecraft.
Immediately after arriving at Nodecraft we noticed this awesome little live-chat feature in the lower corner. After browsing through some of their pages on what they had to offer, I was joyfully suprised to see a very detailed list of EVERYTHING related to their servers and hardware. Nothing was kept undercover, everything was open. After some more investigation, I eventually opened up the live chat and immediately began speaking with a representative. I told him all about the background of the server, what we're looking for in our hosts, our bad experiences with the larger companies out there, everything. He was well-informed, to say the least. He told us all of the changes that we would recieve if we switched and even did a hardware comparison with the old host. Solid State Drives..Dedicated Ips, Free webhosting, 3 month discount, free trial of services, live chat, ticket AND phone support... the list went on and on. We continued to talk for literally hours on the live chat. I learned everything about the company, it's intentions, and even a sneak peak of what is the come. By the end of the conversation, I purchased my first month of hosting. I have been with Nodecraft ever since.
I have had absolutely no problems with my server after MONTHS of intial purchase. Everything has been running smoothly, with 48 plugins, 5 worlds, I have no lag.
