Greetings!
Welcome to Blocky World, a new vanilla adventure-build server in the style of Hermitcraft. Tours and invites are available for any chill, fun, talented architect / redstoners looking for a No-Hacks No-Griefing straight up collaborative Minecrafty good time.
Come check out the non-profit hippy lodge Goodvibes Commune in the spawn town of Homer for maps and respawn supplies. Feel free to farm from our variety of crops and livestock, and use our organic home grown golden carrots to breed some steeds at the Goodvibes Stables. Need some paper? Check out the Goodvibes Public Center basement for Mr. Auto-Mato's state of the art Sugarcaner.
Walk north to visit Ozu Manor under Mt. Shochiku, or fly east to Booji Island to check out my (Nephes') shipwreck The Esteban! (say hi to the Teenage Mutant Sea Turtles: Carravaggio, Giovanni, Titian and Botticelli). Further north you can find the Redland End Portal, or travel west across the Lumino Sea passed some beautiful jungle islands and see Rockmih's wintry Manor in the snowy land of Altfeuer.
Much is planned for Blocky World, including some secret government industrial facilities containing massive iron and mob farms, piston bolt connections between locations, and perhaps even an Ender Pearl Cannon or two.

After weeks of exploring the territory around the server, I have finally settled on a location for my base, on an island far south called Brujuku, which will be a satirical eco-hipster-future combination of Brooklyn, NYC and Harajuku, Tokyo, with uber modern architecture meets oldschool NYC / Tokyo urban architecture, complete with a futuristic automated-resource infrastructure (mob farms, iron farms, greenhouse farms, etc. all funneling resources into a collective storage system at my base).
I've also ventured out into new chunks and brought back a supply of bees, which I supplied to both my base and the non-profit Goodvibes Public Center in the spawn town of Homer. In addition to that, I built a temporary iron farm in Homer which is already producing an excellent level of iron. The spawn-area chunk it is located in runs in the background no matter where a player is active on the server. So it's always producing iron (the iron you see is how much it produced just while I was taking pictures).
Also considering renaming the server, as I just discovered someone had already named their server "Spudcraft". Any suggestions?

So I've been working on Nephuku Estate, my base in Brujuku-ku, the Brooklyn-Harajuku mash up parody city-island which will be home to a large, advanced technological server infrastructure, farms, machines, mass storage / sorting systems, etc. My address is 1 Neapolitan Ave, Brujuku-ku.
I finished two rooms of generic item sorting, and built a couple "sinks" in the kitchen of my base and down in my work station, where you can come in with a shulker full of random items, place it on the sink, and the system will suck all the items out, sort all the generics, and return the un-sortable items to a chest just above the sink. It's working wonderfully well and makes work on the server a breeze, and I already have a lever toggle hooked up to divert items to an external mass storage facility which I plan to build later on the island.
I also finished a really cleanly compact 2x1 honey-block-slime-block flying machine elevator to take you from the ground floor up to the garden roof where I have a few crops set up. One simple button can be pressed to either activate the elevator or call it to your location. The bottom floor comes with a pair of automatic piston doors which remain closed until the elevator arrives, and then opens automagically.
Yesterday, I wound up challenging one of our server mods Ozuhara to a bare knuckle boxing match. After some deliberation, we decided to fight in the Goodvibes barn in Homer. We strippedd down and emptied our inventories, stood at opposite pillars within the barn as Rockmih counted us down to fight, at which point we released the hurricanes. Ozuhara opened the chicken gates, letting chickens come spitting out, throwing eggs at me, and then fled to the cow pen where he hid among the cows as I struggled to land a blow among all the livestock. Afterward, we set up an H.B.K.B. Scoreboard (Homer Bare Knuckle Boxing) just outside the Goodvibes barn with two item deposit chests for fighters and a set of rules. I think we're going to build some more advanced arena type games / fighting competition areas, but bare knuckle boxing in the barn wound up being more fun than I anticipated. XD
A couple other random things I wound up doing recently are, I found the very first wooden pickaxe crafted on the server, enchanted it, and named it The Immaculate Mattock, which we will build a shrine / temple in honor of. I built the first shop in Homer, an enchanted book store called The Coolasstic Book Fair. I further mapped out my island Brujuku-ku, and the wider continental territories. I built a cacti-smelter XP generator just outside Nephuku Estate which helps keep my gear repaired. And I built an annoying slimeblock piston machine in Ozuhara's base and gave it trapdoor wings and named it "BIRDIE FLAP FLAP FLAP". XD

I've started working out the streets and street lamps / traffic lights in Brujuku-ku. I'm really happy with how it's coming out, it's really starting to feel like a Brooklyn / Harajuku city.

Cured a couple zombie villagers in Brujuku and have bred about 20+ of them now.
Also worked out some nice subway / street lamp / traffic light designs and road layout.
But the coolest thing I've done recently is that I had a little stroke of baby genius, you see the trash can my buddy Rockmih is standing on in the middle pic, I've hooked up all the trashcans on every street corner to funnel items to my item sorter. So you can walk along the street and just dump any random item into a trash can, and it will all get sent to my base and sorted in my storage system. I'm going to expand this across the entire island-city, so you can be anywhere in Brujuku-ku, and just dump items into a trash can, and they will all be sent either to my base, or eventually to a massive centralized storage facility called the Brujuku Yield Index.
And also just generally screwing around with my server buds on the Blocky World.

I finished the rough layout of the subway system / Neapolitan Ave. subway stop outside my base in Brujuku-ku, based off the subway system in Brooklyn NY. There will be 2-3 subway stops across the city, and will eventually be connected up to a train running back to the server spawn town. I'm developing a working subway token system, where you will be able to purchase 32 tokens for 1 diamond at machine just outside the subway gate entrance, and enter them into shulkers activating the gate, letting you into the subway platform. I also renamed the server spawn town Funkytown, and helped finish up the foundation of the Funkytown Inn, which another server member is building to house villagers.

Some rando stuff I've done recently:
1. Some Blocky World peops and I mounted some horses and took a trip out to the Stronghold on the other side of the main continent to visit the End and get them an elytra. I wound up flying around for a couple hours trying to find End Castles, my elytra broke and I fell out of the sky, losing all my fully enchanted gear and inventory. It was tragic and painful, but after a few hours the next day, I got a new set of enchanted gear.
2. I finally figured out the street / grid layout I want to implement on my island city Brujuku-ku, and started extending the street down toward an area where I will be building an iron farm and mob farm district. The lower areas will be for some more industrial farms including an iron farm, a mob farm and probably a Brujuku Brewery potion farm facility, the area on the plateau which is called Nephuku Heights will be a more residential district with brownstones, bodegas, an automatic-record farm Nephuku Records shop, and more.
3. Wound up giving an impromptu tour of my base to a neighbor, showing the trash cans in my city where you can discard random items which will all be funneled into the item sorter / storage facility in my Nephuku Estate base. I told her to throw her trash in the trash can to clear her inventory, and then told her to throw her sword in, where she was like "NO!" I convinced her to trust me, she threw it in, and showed her how it was sent through the sorting system and deposited safely into a return chest for un-sortable items.
4. After renaming the spawn town about ten million times trying to find something catchy enough to stick, I finally settled on the name Funkytown. Another member is building an Inn for Funkytown and I think we're going to build a train station called The Love Train.
5. I received a cake at my mailbox in Funkytown with a rather rude message written to me in Japanese. XD
The server is starting to get pretty fun. It took me forever to figure out exactly how I wanted my city to be laid out, but now that I have a loose idea of how it will be built I'm going to focus on designing the buildings which will house my various farms, and build a strong infrastructure of supplies for future builds, and probably open up some shops in Funkytown where I will sell iron and gunpowder and other resources.

Recently:
1. Did an absolute massive TON of landscaping in Brujuku-ku.
2. Loosely laid out the street blocks of the city.
3. Built a 3 chunk cluster slime farm.
4. Helped a server member get and breed villagers.
5. Woke from AFK to find a hole in my boat and two parrots inexplicably burned to death. (Lightning?)
6. Accidentally shot Paaaaaatrick the cat while horsing around with other players in Funkytown.
