No, resuming minecraft after a lengthy haitus.
[All About Minecraft]
Why should we pick you for Moderator over someone else?
My age should play a key factor in such a decision. With my age comes a certain level of maturity and understanding that younger individuals might not have, even when claiming something along the lines of "I'm 13, but I'm really mature!" you can never be sure. I will always make sure that any decision (banning, muting, and everything else in between) is done with the utmost professionalism. Meaning that I am to be completely impartial when making decisions that would normally be hindered by ones personal stance on a situation. For example, banning/muting someone because he was bad mouthing my mother.
In what ways could you positively contribute to the community?
I'd have to say my overall understanding of how minecraft works, both with the player oriented areas of the game, as well as technical issues such as dealing with plugins. There are many people out there who don't quite know how to run plugins, and I'm not saying you're one of them, seeing from your forum post I can see a lot of time and effort went into it, but its always good to have someone else on deck that can help you out when you might need it.
What is your previous experience in any type of moderation?
I've owned my own server on 3 different occasions, so apart from the obvious "Owner" rank, I've been pretty much every administrative rank immaginable, Admin, Mod, etc.
If accepted, what are the top 3 goals which you would aim to complete during your time as a staff member?
Goal 1: Get to know everyone on the team.
Goal 2: Help solve any individual problem a total of 50 times.
Goal 3: Help in the further development of the server as a whole, not just the generic "ban the bad guys", but definately more than that.. Helping the server grow and learning from the experience myself.
What skills do you have that allow you to stand apart from other applicants?
I hate to refer back to my age, but I feel its a valuable asset. I am very knowledgable in all things minecraft as I've been playing this game on and off since beta, however please note that even though I've played for so long I'm still always learning! Plugins are something that I've dealt with time and time again, so I guess I'll just tack that on. I've also got peoples skills. Working in retail, I'm dealing with people on a day to day basis, and sometimes I have to deal with people that aren't exactly easy to deal with. Using something like that which I can directly translate from real life, I feel that in conclusion I can be a valuable asset to this server.
What type of mentor would you prefer? A casual mentor who lets you be independent or a serious mentor who is always checking in with you?
Casual. Always casual. A serious mentor just adds too much of a forceful dynamic to your everyday life and who the hell wants that?
Is there anything else which you would like to add?
Only that I thank you for taking the time out of your day to read through my hefty application. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon, easy fam.

Sometimes I wonder if what I'm doing is right or wrong. if I am able to moderate and help others, I would definitely see how my views change if any.[/b]

I belive i have the best leadership skills, I tend to lead those even if I don't realize it. I also have great Communication skills and quickly adapt to any situation.[/b]
What type of mentor would you prefer? A casual mentor who lets you be independent or a serious mentor who is always checking in with you?
Casual Mentors are great for those who Need little to no help. a Serious Mentor is for those who need some major help with how to understand what to do. so I would like to have a serious mentor at first, then have a casual one later.[/b]

[All About You]
What's your Minecraft username?: Subzero_____ (five underscores)
Enter all your previous Minecraft usernames: Scorpion____ and Fasieh
What's your age?: 14
What languages do you speak?: English, some Turkish and Saraiki.
What's your Discord username?: Subzero#8568
What country are you currently living in?: Australia
What's your time zone?: UTC+9:30 (South Australia)
What time are you most often on?: The times I am on differentiate depending on the day and circumstances.
Monday: 4:00PM - 9:00PM
Tuesday: 5:30PM - 9:00PM
Wednesday: 4:00PM - 9:00PM
Thursday: 5:30PM - 9:00PM
Friday: 4:00PM - 9:30PM
Saturday: 10:00AM-4:00PM
Sunday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
As I said above, these times change especially during the school holidays, then I can be much more active and be on a lot when I'm not busy.
How many hours can you contribute per day?: 2-3 Hours on Weekdays mostly, and 3-5 Hours on Weekends.
What do you do outside of Minecraft? e.g. Jobs, school, sports, hobbies, etc: I go to school and I am currently in Year 9, I do kickboxing on Tuesday and Thursday every week, I don't have a job yet but I may be getting one in the near future to earn some money. I like to do kickboxing and some other sports and I also like to play some video games such as Minecraft (of course), Skyrim and Assassin's creed. I do like hanging out with my friends but not in large groups.
Are you able to record videos when reporting a player?: Yes, I have OBS and another program which are able to record in 1080P, I have a youtube account to upload evidence unless I must directly upload it to forums, and I do have some editing software if I need to edit.
Are you currently a staff in any other server?: No, but i previously was on two other servers, I will talk about that later in the application.
[All About Minecraft]
Why should we pick you for Moderator over someone else?: I have a positive attitude towards doing my work, I can work co-operatively and with other players as long as everybody is being reasonable, I am kind and can be serious when needed, but at other times casual and laid back. I follow protocol correctly and can reason with someone who may have something against me. I am somewhat a good leader, and I can deliver work on time, and do it efficiently.
In what ways could you positively contribute to the community?: I can patrol the server in a way, and report as many hackers as possible, deal with disputes, and moderate chat when needed to. My previous experience allows me to do things such as help the community and help other staff whenever needed.
What is your previous experience in any type of moderation?: I was once co-owner on a server named "GlacialEra" I joined the server sometime in September as a builder originally, but after working not just as a builder, but moderating the community I became a co-owner. Later on the server had shutdown by the server because he couldn't pay for it, but also because it wasn't going "the way he wanted", which was true, but he was quite a corrupt owner. Many years ago I was Mod on a server which I dont' remember much off, but it had a loyal community but was griefed and shutdown.
If accepted, what are the top 3 goals which you would aim to complete during your time as a staff member?: Keep the server safe, from its chat to the atmosphere by moderating the chat and reporting rule-breakers, work towards improving the servers game-modes by sharing ideas and helping out, and I will make sure I will complete all tasks/assignments on time.
What skills do you have that allow you to stand apart from other applicants?: I am able to speak "Saraiki" which isn't a very common language, but was taught to me by my grandparents just out of interest, I can also speak some Turkish. I am able to co-operate with people or things that would get on peoples nerves, and I can actively patrol the server constantly if needed.
What type of mentor would you prefer? A casual mentor who lets you be independent or a serious mentor who is always checking in with you?: I'm not exactly sure, a casual mentor is always good since you have your own decisions to make, and can learn from whatever mistakes you make by accident, but a serious mentor is always making sure you do things exactly correct but wants the best for you, but at the same times gives you less freedom. So I think I would go with the casual mentor... but that isn't a 100% true answer.
Is there anything else which you would like to add?: Thanks for reading my Application

What country are you currently living in?
The United States of America
What's your time zone?
Central Standard
What time are you most often on?
4pm-12am
How many hours can you contribute per day?
Per day, a healthy estimate would be 5-6, depending on work, studies, and how much needs to be done on the server.
What do you do outside of Minecraft? e.g. Jobs, school, sports, hobbies, etc.
I work as a contractor so I do a multitude of things ranging from construction, plumbing, home improvement, etc. Starting this fall I will be attending University.
Are you able to record videos when reporting a player?
Yes, I am able to record in full HD.
Are you currently a staff in any other server?
No, I am not, I recently applied to one, but after seeing some people have not so good things to say about it I withdrew my application.
[All About Minecraft] Why should we pick you for Moderator over someone else?
Honestly, I'm not going to claim to be a perfect person, we all have flaws, of course. What I can offer is someone who never really gets stirred up, no amount of trolling or anything of the sorts will blind my judgment or enrage me. I also have a good head on my shoulders when it comes to dealing with PR situations, working as a contractor really puts me into spots sometimes where damage control becomes number one priority. Other than that I'm just your usual easy to work with guy, who holds a high standard for work that he does.
In what ways could you positively contribute to the community?
Well, I'm an overall just good guy, so it's pretty easy for me to make friends, which in turn may lead to reputations of the server having good friendly staff, if you don't already, but I'm sure everyone on the team is an upstanding individual. I'm a reasonable problem solver, so I can be relied on to do such. I've helped manage Facebook pages with 8,000+ likes which gave me a good knowledge about maintaining an acceptable appearance for a community.
What is your previous experience in any type of moderation?
Any type of moderation, I'm going to assume you want to include real life instances, but in a mine-craft sense there is of course experience with being admin and mod, even co-owner on servers, all of them have gone under though so they aren't really worthy to mention. As in my real life experience, as stated numerous times before, as a contractor, I do occasionally hire others to get a job done quicker, so I'm attuned to dealing with quality control, and making sure guidelines are followed. Also for a short bit, I helped out a small e-Sports organization with their CS: GO team, mostly I just managed their social media, but I also dealt with players and their manager when the owner wasn't around, so that was fun.
If accepted, what are the top 3 goals which you would aim to complete during your time as a staff member?
As for a short term goal, I'd just like to get to know the whole team and have a good understanding of the community being built.
Mid-Term would be to really flesh out the community and get as many people as possible in, even if it comes to advertising on social media and such.
Long-Term definitely is getting the server huge and popular where people come to have a great time without worrying about someone ruining their day.
What skills do you have that allow you to stand apart from other applicants?
Oh boy, I feel like I'd be repeating myself a good amount if I went through it all again, but for a short recap: Good real life experience in dealing with "customers", extensive background in the gaming management scene, easy to work with, sticks to guidelines and dead lines, loves competitive scenes.
What type of mentor would you prefer? A casual mentor who lets you be independent or a serious mentor who is always checking in with you?
Well, when I started doing contract work, I opted for a serious mentor, mostly because there is a lot of things that could go wrong when doing my work which will cost a good amount of money, so I wanted someone who would keep checking on me and making sure I wasn't costing money. For most situations though, I'd prefer a casual mentor, one that I'd go to for help if I needed, not one peering over my shoulder to make sure I'm not screwing up.
Is there anything else which you would like to add?
I just want to thank anyone and everyone who took their time to read this and consider me for the spot. Also, I really like that you are adding a good award for the faction that wins the season, it adds incentive and attracts players, good thinking, seems like a team I would enjoy working with.

What skills do you have that allow you to stand apart from other applicants?
I belive i have the best leadership skills, I tend to lead those even if I don't realize it. I also have great Communication skills and quickly adapt to any situation.[/b]
What type of mentor would you prefer? A casual mentor who lets you be independent or a serious mentor who is always checking in with you?
Casual Mentors are great for those who Need little to no help. a Serious Mentor is for those who need some major help with how to understand what to do. so I would like to have a serious mentor at first, then have a casual one later.[/b]
Is there anything else which you would like to add?[/b]

What's your Discord username?: Subzero#8568
What country are you currently living in?: Australia
What's your time zone?: UTC+9:30 (South Australia)
What time are you most often on?: The times I am on differentiate depending on the day and circumstances.
Monday: 4:00PM - 9:00PM
Tuesday: 5:30PM - 9:00PM
Wednesday: 4:00PM - 9:00PM

Why should we pick you for Moderator over someone else?
