Info:
ConvergenceCraft is a 1.7.10 server with magic themed mods and plugins! See here for more info.
Builders and other content creators will receive a special rank, and will have access to creative mode to build for the server ONLY, not to spawn in items for their personal gain.
Username? NaturallyCole and NaturallyKylee (build team)
Age?: We are 15 and 13
What relevant experience do you have? Have you worked on other servers?: Kylee and I built her server up from scratch. We also have a lot of experience helping other servers build their spawns. Our build type is more natural and wood-sey like.
Why do you want to be staff?: We would like to be staff because your server's mods sound amazing and we would love to build for you!
How active will you be (for the next two months)?: Everyday for up to 12 hours (Please note I (Cole) am going on a nine day vacation starting tomorrow but Kylee will be on.
Show me some examples of your work! For builds, preferably with the default texture pack, no shaders.: I attached two pictures, unfortunately I have none of our recent builds but we would love to show you in-game if possible.

We already have a server spawn but I would love to get the opinions of some fellow builders, and there's more building to be done in the future!
I suggest you get on the server and play survival for awhile - I make a few exceptions but for the most part I prefer for staff to also play survival. You'll also have a better shot if the players and I are more familiar with you.

I have not had the chance to work on other servers.
I enjoy creating things for the entertainment of others.
Most likely, my levels of activity for the next two months will be unhealthy.
I whipped up a dungeon specifically for this application, hence why I'm so late. I made it using the mods in the convergence pack. The map can be found here! You'll also need to add this to your mods folder so the scripts can run. It's server-sided, so if it's added to the server, none of the players will have to install it to join.
Edit: It just occurred to me that I may or may not have uploaded the wrong world file. However, I am too tired to check so I'll look at it tomorrow.
Experiences: I've won various art shows, and have been an admin on another multiplayer game.
Reason for being staff: I want to help lighten your load, help others make things, and help with lore.
Activeness: Until August, my schedule should be clean. After august, I will be free on weekends and after school.
Examples: Sent privately.
Username: BioRobo (also go by BioWizard or BioWizward on some other sites in case it ever pops up)
Age: 14
Experiences: Admin from the same game mentioned by XXImmy4evrXX, general experience from refining my own writing over time.
I personally focus my writing in worldbuilding, dialogue, and mythology-like writing (primarily stories regarding deities or other parts of religion), but I can contribute other things to the lore upon request.
I can also work with sprite art if it's a skill that proves useful (though I wouldn't honestly count it as one of my biggest strengths).
Reason for being staff: I want to assist with writing lore and can potentially assist with building if necessary.
Activeness: I should be very active, though may suddenly be inactive (or at least much less active) for about 2 1-week periods (or simply 2 weeks in a row depending on how our schedule works out) over the course of the summer for family reasons. I should still be at least contactable though, as I'm still going to be online for a good chunk of time, but I may be unable to log in to the server.
Examples: Check spoiler (writing) and attached images (pixel art).
Context: A story called The Sulfur Chronicle, which is set in a medieval fantasy world becoming industrialized after the discovery of gunpowder and basic smoke-powered machinery.
Norilia, our home, is known to be very diverse in its landscape across its two continents; Ikoris and Orllo. What we had learned to always anticipate in its nature; its creatures and its strange inhabitants, from masters of plague to incarnations of sin had never prepared us for what was to come, not made by nature but made by man.
The population of Humans had discovered gunpowder first, and with it had discovered a means to become a dominant force in a world once ruled by magic and divinity. Their discovery lead to many things - guns that sent plumes of ash into the air as they fired, powers of the forge's heat and coal harnessed into energy and utilized as a source of fuel... It gave them an advantage unfathomed in times before.
The rest of us caught up in due time but it became apparent that this new revolution brought with it a new terror. Our old world ideals; magic, religion, they seemed irrelevant to some. What we praised and worshiped seemed meaningless with the invention of this burning powder.
Some thrived in the new environment, others fell with a crash. The rumors of a new breed of magic - 'Technomancy' they called it, fusion of magic and gunpowder - arising amidst the new Human innovations. A new sin to some, but to many others a new creed of divinity. One that brought man to the top of the ladder. No gods, no masters, no limits set by nature. A world ruled by man. And all that was necessary was to follow machine over messiah...
All that is really left for us is to lie in wait. After all, we have just reached the beginning of a new era. A new chapter in the world's story...
The Sulfur Chronicle.
Map of Norillia's two continents.
Our time on Norilia, though long, had not proved very fruitful when it came to discovering what our lands had to offer. Very few dared travel outside whatever some other poor soul risked mapping; we feared the world outside of our civilization's embrace. What we had marked, we marked with precision like that of the gods'.
We can only hope what lies beyond our eyes isn't as fearful as we conceive it.
Map of Norillia as labelled by its inhabitants.
Many of us used our little mapping to the greatest advantage we could; gathering all our civilization, every pinnacle of sentience and every abysmal being, into only what we saw with our praised maps.
"Alliances," some claimed. "Empires, countries!" Many people can agree these new-aged politics were a joke, that we were fine seperated from each other. The discovery of gunpowder and coal should have no influence on how our kingdoms discuss things; they shouldn't be discussing things at all, they said!
"To each their own"; this is true, but despite this seemingly pointless debate there is still the fact that these new concepts remain. The capacity for wars causing more damage than ever because of the revolution Humanity sparked is a threat indeed. We are to stick together if we wish for our walls to stay strong.
Political map of Norillia.
Key:
Blue - Human territory
Yellow - Azedrayl - Demodrayl alliance territory
Green - Draqous - Pladrayl alliance territory
Grey - Hellmouth, the gate to Hell.
Above all this, however; threats of nature and of man, and threats to either force, lies what drives these things. Us.
Though the term 'we' is a loose one, it still holds itself primarily because of our common similarities; sentience. The capacity to build up, to build tall and wide, against nature's wishes to prove ourselves as the greatest force on Norilia. Conquerers of nature, not mere slaves to it.
The Humans are perhaps one of the most "uninteresting" or "boring" races physically, spiritually, and magically. Their recent rise to near global power can only be attributed to their mastery over forge and flame, their invention of gunpowder, and their mighty arsenal of guns and cannons. Some can't even conjure magic at all; not even a spark of flame, not even a drop of water. They can be attributed (or blamed) to the creation of Technomancy, and while the humans who can muster up magic are absolute masters of its concepts, the art is so rare to begin with that most not even bother at all - it's much easier and much more practical to focus on Geomancy, or perhaps Pyromancy. They usually keep to themselves.
The Elves, or Drayl are an interesting species due to their incredible versatility as a species. They have been generally noted as quicker to evolve to certain terrain than other species, and have managed to do so over sentience's grasp over Norilia to a point where three distinct Drayl. The Azedrayl, or High Elves, are perhaps the most Human-like, though they are generally seen as the most magically inclined race we have seen to date; they possess no inherent advantage or disadvantage to any particular kinds of magic. This allows them to focus on any magic school of their choosing, and are more capable of learning multiple magic schools and using them all at once. However, it is generally understood they understand gunpowder and coal power the least of Norilia's sentient beings. They are in a loose alliance with the Demodrayl.
The Demodrayl, or the Dark Elves, are seen as chaotic and destructive by most, but in reality they are not evil by nature; they merely have the most capacity to destroy things - living or otherwise - with magic. Their usually secretive ways prevent them from building a strong sense of mutual trust with other sentient species, and sometimes even within their own numbers. They have been accused of working with varieties of sinful entities in the past, but the newest accusation of the modern era suggests they are working with the beings in Hellmouth - the rumored entrance to Hell itself, lair of the demons and entryway to the mortal plane for the Daemons.
The Pladrayl, or Plague Elves, are Drayl that are heavily religious and possibly even more secretive than the Demodrayl, though for reasons unknown the racist mistrust lies on the Demodrayl instead. They are typically seen as cultlike and plague-worshipping, living in swamplike regions to allow plagues to fester. They have an art of "growing" plagues and harvesting them for their own use; primarily sacrifices and for weaponization. They are also very familiar with the art of alchemy, though were not the ones to invent it. They are almost entirely immune to most diseases.(edited)
The Draqous are reptillian beasts of men who share much of the same territory as the Pladrayl, and have a very tight alliance with them. They are masters of poison and inventors of the alchemical arts. They see poison as a highly valuable resource that is grown naturally in their homelands in many varities, as well as hunted for in the many poisonous animals that reside there. They are seen as the most uncivilized race of Norilia, though they have the same capacity to learn as any other race. They possess a very strong natural poison resistance, and their close alliance with the Pladrayl usually gives them some boost to the immune system.
Finally, the Daemons are the implings of Hell. They are usually seen as "lesser demon" or "minion" material, and are sent out by the Demons to the mortal plane to do their bidding. Their close ties to Hell and the Demons give them extreme control over Demonology; a special brand of magic that directly draws from the power of the Demons, rather than expending an individual's magic power. While they are typically seen as evil, and willingly serve the Demons, few escape the tight grip the Demons have and spend their time as a regular citizen of the mortal plane, though many hide their identity in order to do so.
Note: This piece only demonstrates my work in worldbuilding, and less so in my other focuses like dialogue or mythology-esque writing. I don't currently have saved demonstrations of my skills in these other categories, though if you would prefer to see my abilities then simply ask me and we can discuss what to do.
Experience: I have been a moderator on another relatively large-sized server called Applecraft. I was also an architect there for quite a long time. I used to write stories on Wattsap (i never actually finished a single one, but I did get to 15,000 words on one of them ;u; ).
Reason: I believe that I am qualified for this position for a few small reasons, beginning with the fact that, as stated above, I am experienced in being a staff member, a builder and a writer/worldbuilder. I speak almost-fluent German, which means that I can help higher-ups if there are any monolingual German speakers around. I have experienced the stress of being a staff member before, and thus I am somewhat desensitised to the experience.
Activeness: I should be quite active, online at least once a day (barring any circumstantial school activities i.e homework or debating or drama or whatever).
Works: Here is my imgur website, displaying most of my builds. I can also provide some samples of writing or art upon request, but as I am about to go out, I will not be able to do it within the next 2-3 hours (but I will for sure do it afterwards)
What relevant experience do you have? Have you worked on other servers? I have been staff on lots of servers.
Why do you want to be staff? too help with Custom NPC's
How active will you be (for the next two months)? not daily but bidaily or tridaily have other servers I am staff on
Show me some examples of your work! For builds, preferably with the default texture pack, no shaders. ( I am aiming to help with Custom NPC's not Building)

Yup! We have two scripters at the moment, which is good for now. If you'd be interested in applying next round, try hopping on the server and playing some survival so we can get to know you!
KraftyMincraft - apologies, my message didn't go through. I'm looking for dedicated, mature, rather well, professional staff members, and you didn't demonstrate quite enough of those qualities, or show me any examples of your work. If you intend to reapply, I hope to see better effort put in. Best of luck!
Never in my days have I been called KraftyMincraft xD
