What Position You're Applying For: Management/Development Team
Past Experience: I have much experience in both project management and plugin development. Firstly, I have worked as an administrator on many Minecraft servers, and I have run a few short-lived ones myself. Therefore I have a lot of experience reviewing staff applications, managing staff and reviewing ban appeals. Secondly, (unrelated to Minecraft but I think it's still relevant) I worked as the project manager for the wikiHow article review project, which was a scheme organised by wikiHow to check articles for accuracy, involving a team of hundreds of reviewers, both professionals and community members. I volunteered to join the project in its early stages and was appointed manager soon thereafter, working directly under the wikiHow management team. I was tasked with organising team members, categorising articles to be reviewed, approving reviewed articles, and collecting and displaying data about the project (all of this data was stored in Google Sheets, so I am very familiar with that). I also ran a weekly newsletter giving information and updates about the project and I frequently contacted team members personally about their performance, congratulating them or telling them to improve. There were also plans to give awards to the best team members, but wikiHow management decided against it. Of course, the article review wasn't my idea, but everything else like storing data and the newsletter was thought of and organised by me. This position gave me loads of experience in team management, organisation, data management and idea generation, which I believe would be invaluable to the Avarus team.
As for development, I have worked for years as a Minecraft server developer, both professionally and as a volunteer. I mainly create back-end utility plugins such as anti-cheat, ban management and admin dashboards, rather than minigames, though I am able to create them too. I also have experience as a web designer and developer, winning awards for my web apps. I am also experienced with Linux servers and the like as a result. I am familiar with HTML & CSS, Java, JavaScript, PHP, AngularJS, Ruby, Rails, Python and jQuery and am able to code proficiently in these languages.
Why you want this position: I feel that my skills would be valuable to the Avarus team and that I would prove to be a great asset to the server. The concept of the server is unique and intriguing, and something that I would like to be involved in and that I would like to help develop.
Typical Daily Schedule: During the day, I have school until 3:40, so I'm unable to work then, though I can still be contacted during school hours. I am able to work after that though, which lines up nicely with North American timezones.

Developer Application
My name I'm not going to disclose, but I am 16 years old and my skype is "Colonelpigmask", and I'm applying for the developer position, I have past experience in developing a few utility plugins, and a few joke or test plugins, but most of my plugin creation has been more centered around learning things rather than putting my skills to use, I believe I could do that here. Before I started plugin developing I ran my own servers back in 2012 / 2011 when I first started playing minecraft, I configured plugins and used them, but didn't really know how they worked so I started developing. I want this position so I can put my skills to use and make plugins for a server, rather than just myself. I'd run a server for myself, but I don't want to bother with the hassles and drama as an owner that I can't handle, so I'd rather stay out of that and just be a developer. I'm usually developing for myself on my own time, and browsing multiple forums helping other people out, my bukkit account is https://bukkit.org/members/whoneedspacee.91071198/ but most of my actual time is on discord with a group of developers I play with. My spare time is usually spent playing "H A C K M U D", which is a Javascript scripting game on a virtual internet. I'm available most of the time on weekends, and after highschool on weekdays, though you can still contact me through discord. I'm a very handy person, and I'm usually capable of creative ideas for plugins and games that could be fun or skill based, I'm a competitive gamer, and when I produce games I mostly spend time looking for more replay-ability in games, and adding new things that could add strategy's players could use, and overall making things more fun. Most of my games were made in garry's mod e2's through wiremod, and making gamemodes for garrysmod. I had an idea in progress that I never finished that might be fun for minecraft, it's pretty generic, and pretty much civilization 5 in minecraft, but it could be fun and have a lot of new things added to it. Overall I would be a good addition to your team, and I can usually create idea's, and see them through while finding new ways to make them fun along the way, your server would be a good motivation for me to finish my ideas, or at least have a reason to finish them since without a server I have no reason to release or create any plugins.
As a Moderator on the MCGamer Network, I moderated the hub, filed Report Abuses and dealt with many players who broke rules. Along with these jobs, I was part of many events and helped out tremendously with the community.
During my 5 months as an Administrator on Team Elite, I led our build team to create many projects. I also managed the staff below me while holding build sessions, performing monthly activity checks and running the team with other Administrators.
For over two years I served as the leading Staff Management Administrator for Static PvP Network. I started out as a Moderator and climbed my way through positions, Trial Sr. Moderator, Sr. Moderator then Trial Administrator and finally becoming the leading Staff Management Administrator. In this position, I coordinated all Sr. Moderators and their jobs along with the Moderators. I lead my own team of Sr. Moderators who managed the Staff team.
Why you want this position:
I would love to hold this position to help Avarus as much as possible. I can help within and outside of the staff team to better the server in its entirety.
Stereotypical Daily Schedule:
I wake up and attend school until about 3:45 PM and then leave for practice every day at 4:30 PM and get home at 8:30 PM. All the time in between is free.
Thanks for your interest, but we're currently not hiring any administrators. However, we are always looking for lore writers and game designers, if those positions peak your interest, feel free to apply for one of those.
Also, your application would be null and void even if we did need an administrator. Check the bolded text on the bottom of the app template.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the server will be shutting down permanently. There were two reasons. One was that Nathan (HelpfulFreak191) had become tied up with schoolwork supposedly, but many of the staff (including myself), theorized that it might be a bluff because of the other reason we are closing, which is that there was a lot of discord due to my inability to let past incidents go, and Nathan sort of controlling more than his share of the server, as he did not put in the amount fiscally as I had (by a lot, $40-50 I believe), and not letting other people do things. He was called out for it by myself and one of our new developers, which we think caused him to bluff about the schoolwork. That being said, I know he was tied up with it, but it was an awful convenient time for him to leave.

hmm, i wonder where you got this idea from...
I have added both of you on Skype.
Our idea came from inspiration from W&K, Massivecraft, and Wynncraft, along with a few others. Thanks for your interest.

I see you're a freelance developer and digital artist. You could apply...
I do not apply for positions on servers. People either come to me and ask for assistance or for my skills.
