It is indeed surprising what consequences one simple decision can have on the world. One can bring about the achievement of perfection,
whereas its counterpart can take us closer to planetary destruction and, undoubtedly, the end of the world as we know it. No land is perfect forever. Once you achieve something, it’s bound to break at one point in the future, sooner or later. Same goes for peace. Now, peace is a delicate concept with quite a lot of meanings. There are multiple definitions for peace and really nobody knows which one is the real one. There is fear-inspired peace, which tyrants have been using for centuries. They appoint an anarchist, a dictator which absolutely rules over everyone and everything.
Although such peace is admirable, it is not everlasting. Absolute power leads to absolute corruption, to great hunger for power.
Then, there is actual peace. A peace which nobody can describe simply because nobody has experienced it before. The sort of mentality when you know that everyone wants your good and you want everyone’s good. The feeling of achievement that every living being on this planet is contributing to the technological and mental advancement continuously.
Where there is peace, wars are bound to happen. Wars are cruel manifestations of a person’s or multiple’s will to dominate ultimately over all. However, there is a balance between peace and war as there is balance for everything since the creationism. That is allying against a common enemy.
The Parted Isles used to be a land of perfection, of happiness, of true peace. A land where everyone contributed equally or more than they had to. A land where everyone was your friend. Such great balance was kept by The Nexus, an ancient crystal which people worshiped as being a god, or even God himself.
Of course, as perfection cannot be forever, it slowly tore up the cage in which The Darkness, a primordial being, was sealed during the past centuries. With darkness came death, bringing The Parted Isles’ races to extinction. However, they were given a choice: join the darkness or remain dead.
Some kept their nobility and refused the offer, while others joined the darkness in its eternal run for glory. The universe was now too unbalanced again. There was only bad, there was no good. So, from the skies fell a deity of great power, which gave the dead another choice: fight the darkness, or rest in peace. Although many decided to rest in peace, a great number who seeks revenge on the darkness. A small number, however, is still deciding. Which ascended being should they part with?
Who is the player?
The player is a dead human from The Parted Isles who hasn’t yet made their choice. Upon starting a character, they will be prompted with a presentation of the two sides. They will walk through a cave which will show both parts: the darkness and the light. The first will be represented by a small portion of a village fit inside the cave: groceries, people, warriors with light blue and white uniforms walking around looking happy. The presentation will last for about 30 seconds, then the village will vanish and the cave will become normal again. During this presentation, there will not be a ceiling to the cave, and the same goes for the darkness’s presentation. However, while presenting the light, it will be on day time whereas the darkness will be on night time. The darkness will be represented by an army of black-skinned (like the actual black color, not brown) soldiers being trained by another being with red eyes wearing a black and dark red coat. The soldiers’ uniforms will be dark black and grey robes. Very few of them have red eyes, a bigger number have yellow eyes and the grand majority have white eyes (we’ll get to eye colors down below)

Nature has many ways to manifest when it comes to maintaining balance. One of them, apparently, was introducing the curse known as “The Curse of the All-Seeing Eye”, which gives certain players visual prowess that consists of an advantage in combat.

IntoxicatedGaming has been an independent company/network since 2011. IntoxicatedNetwork is a small group of friendly players who create indie games fulfills the enjoyment of others. We have had few successful Minecraft, Garry's mod and Rust servers. At last, we are coming back to Minecraft with a brand new server.
Started off as an RP (Role-play) server, solely based and inspired from the game Skyrim: The Elder Scrolls. Our company, IXG, had developed servers from a wide variety of themes, games. And have always looked forward to MMORPG games and servers. Now with our recent respite, we decided to step-up and revive our old project and create this a better and innovative project to success.
Now we have come up with a fresh concept design, The Parted Isles, and decided to take all our MMORPG server development experiences throughout the years to be put it into one project. Lately, we've been seeing a few recent MMORPG servers die off, it may be due to horrible predicaments such as: financial issues, lack of staff initiative/motivation and project management as well as having a devastatingly low vision/creativity for concepts/ideas. And a whole lot more to mention.
As such, we have endeavored in developing and learning systems and ideas that engages well to player-immersive features which we plan to reveal soon. But for us to make them a reality, we need talented pioneers for our development team in our upcoming project.

In my three years of playing Minecraft, I’ve had an opportunity to gain experience from various servers, of course not all successful, however all of them had a significant lesson to teach me. The most significant being Galaxy Gaming, an environment where I acquired both leadership and managerial skills. I was appointed the position of Head of Operations whose duty was to make sure every branch of the server’s management and staff ran in conjunction with each other. I expected high quality work from the staff team and myself, and it was delivered. I occasionally encountered obstacles however they posed no threat to my objective. Success. I naturally am an extremely ambitious person, I’m the type to set goals and achieve them at any cost necessary. I believe this, along with my other qualities such as enthusiasm, thirst for knowledge, problem solving, adaptability, friendliness, and ability to keep my cool in any situation will allow me to succeed and contribute as much as possible in an attempt to better the network and myself! I've always wanted to become staff on a successful server with an immense player base because I like meeting new people, discussing culture, different skills and anything else that comes to mind!I think because I have been in a position where I have been in charge of multiple sectors of a network all at once I have a level of experience and self reliance needed to be successful in this position, as I have been here before.
I enjoy playing for long periods of time and after a while I get tired and decide to take a break. This was the case in the most recent server that I was staff on, I was staff on this server for a little over a year, worked my way up to a point in which I was running the server alongside the owners, and unfortunately we all grew too busy to maintain this server so we all decided it would be best not to waste funds and shut the project down. I am still friends with the Owners and former staff, however we have mostly moved in our separate directions and don't talk as much.
I enjoy being in a position where I can organize and analyze things to make them the most effective. My strengths are in my managerial skills because of my strong leadership traits. I believe in creating and maintaining a strong work environment where everybody gets the job done and plays later; hence my motto, "Work first and play later." Kind of cliche I am aware but effective.I have been all ranks ranging from Trial Moderator to Head of Administration not including Head of Operations, Co-Owner and Owner on too many servers to count, I'd consider myself an experienced individual that would be able to work wonders for this server. My punishments for everything is usually similar, warning, second is talking to with all minor punishment and then major punishment after, it really depends you have to keep in mind that these as little kids and it takes them a while to learn lessons. In extenuating circumstances however of course they differ but most offenses aren't extremely serious to stay from that pattern most times.
What other things can you contribute to IntoxicatedGaming/Network and The Parted Isles (we highly approbate people who are genuinely wanting to help contribute): Honestly since Galaxy Gaming I haven't found a server to that professional caliber that I feel would be successful. My name is Louis and i am a 18 year old computer science student at college i am looking to start Working for a server who needs it as the server i used to was sold to another owner last month it was a hub server with other server connected to it like prison factions and other game modes it had about 50 players at all times and normally maxed out at about 150 so i am used to a lot of players i want to get back into the Staff side of minecraft.

The first will be represented by a small portion of a village fit inside the cave: groceries, people, warriors with light blue and white uniforms walking around looking happy. The presentation will last for about 30 seconds, then the village will vanish and the cave will become normal again. During this presentation, there will not be a ceiling to the cave, and the same goes for the darkness’s presentation. However, while presenting the light, it will be on day time whereas the darkness will be on night time. The darkness will be represented by an army of black-skinned (like the actual black color, not brown) soldiers being trained by another being with red eyes wearing a black and dark red coat. The soldiers’ uniforms will be dark black and grey robes. Very few of them have red eyes, a bigger number have yellow eyes and the grand majority have white eyes (we’ll get to eye colors down below)
Nature has many ways to manifest when it comes to maintaining balance. One of them, apparently, was introducing the curse known as “The Curse of the All-Seeing Eye”, which gives certain players visual prowess that consists of an advantage in combat.

In my three years of playing Minecraft, I’ve had an opportunity to gain experience from various servers, of course not all successful, however all of them had a significant lesson to teach me. The most significant being Galaxy Gaming, an environment where I acquired both leadership and managerial skills. I was appointed the position of Head of Operations whose duty was to make sure every branch of the server’s management and staff ran in conjunction with each other. I expected high quality work from the staff team and myself, and it was delivered. I occasionally encountered obstacles however they posed no threat to my objective. Success. I naturally am an extremely ambitious person, I’m the type to set goals and achieve them at any cost necessary. I believe this, along with my other qualities such as enthusiasm, thirst for knowledge, problem solving, adaptability, friendliness, and ability to keep my cool in any situation will allow me to succeed and contribute as much as possible in an attempt to better the network and myself! I've always wanted to become staff on a successful server with an immense player base because I like meeting new people, discussing culture, different skills and anything else that comes to mind!I think because I have been in a position where I have been in charge of multiple sectors of a network all at once I have a level of experience and self reliance needed to be successful in this position, as I have been here before.
I enjoy playing for long periods of time and after a while I get tired and decide to take a break. This was the case in the most recent server that I was staff on, I was staff on this server for a little over a year, worked my way up to a point in which I was running the server alongside the owners, and unfortunately we all grew too busy to maintain this server so we all decided it would be best not to waste funds and shut the project down. I am still friends with the Owners and former staff, however we have mostly moved in our separate directions and don't talk as much.
I enjoy being in a position where I can organize and analyze things to make them the most effective. My strengths are in my managerial skills because of my strong leadership traits. I believe in creating and maintaining a strong work environment where everybody gets the job done and plays later; hence my motto, "Work first and play later." Kind of cliche I am aware but effective.I have been all ranks ranging from Trial Moderator to Head of Administration not including Head of Operations, Co-Owner and Owner on too many servers to count, I'd consider myself an experienced individual that would be able to work wonders for this server. I not only have experience in Administrating servers, but I also have experience in management and the organization of large projects. My punishments for everything is usually similar, warning, second is talking to with all minor punishment and then major punishment after, it really depends you have to keep in mind that these as little kids and it takes them a while to learn lessons. In extenuating circumstances however of course they differ but most offenses aren't extremely serious to stay from that pattern most times.
What other things can you contribute to IntoxicatedGaming/Network and The Parted Isles (we highly approbate people who are genuinely wanting to help contribute): Honestly since Galaxy Gaming I haven't found a server to that professional caliber that I feel would be successful. I am mostly on all day on free days (weekends, public holidays, etc.) but try to balance my time between the real life and gaming. What kind of previous experience have you had moderating games/servers?*: I was promoted to Helper on a server named Pixelors a few months back after an exceedingly good application - they let me skip the interview process as well. I applied for the following teams - Report Team, Forum Managers, Wordsmith (essentially the wiki manager) and Application Staff and was accepted into all of them. A while later, I lost motivation for the server and resigned.
There has been three survival servers that all shut down that I moderated - Agare, Collisian and Esgaroth. I ensured that the Enjin website was making progress and that everyone was being treated kindly.
There are many more servers that I have moderated from the Minecraft Forums, but I have forgotten the names of them. I remember two of them - VetoNetwork and AusMC.
In what way or how would you resolve any sort of antipathy or arguments between players? I would calmly approach the players and ask for details describing the conundrum or problem and then ensure that both players are calm whether that be by a warning or verbal talk. Then I would resolve the problem by issuing correct punishments.
