Hello folks, I'm setting up a server, and I need some people to help me build a few large Castles, Churches, Mosques, and possibly other Medieval-Renaissance Era buildings owned by men of power. For those of you interested in the server concept:
The idea is a survival mcmmo server, that runs in a feudal hierarchy system. Most players are peasants, just common players who work and build to live their lives; no special perks, no extravagant wealth. But, they are ruled by Lords, Noblemen of the world. There'd be maybe 4 or 5 Lords per kingdom. Players can choose which Lord they reside under. The Lords are given the ability to tax their peasants to a certain amount (say, 15% max) of their money (which they can get by selling things at a shop), and Lords also have a special shop with slight discounts on some items (to simulate their wealth). Above the Lords is a King, there would be maybe 3 Kings across the server, they have a similar function to Lords, but tax the Lords, and their special shop has even better deals. Failure to pay taxes results in Demotion for Lords, and Slavery for Peasants. Slavery would function similar to a prison server. Players are sent to an island, and work until they have enough money to pay off their debt. The interesting part is players can challenge their direct superior to take their role. A Peasant can challenge a Lord (Any lord, not just their own) to combat, the winner gets the Lord's position, the loser becomes a Peasant. Lords can challenge Kings, in a similar manner. There would be restrictions on how often a player can be challenged.
