** Pandemonium 2 - New World just started (Dec, 27th)
Many new features have been rolled out with this update.**
Welcome to Pandemonium II, the latest release in this epic saga of hardcore Minecraft survival. What matters to you here, is staying alive. You are about to experience an unforgiving wasteland where numerous others struggle to survive on a moment by moment basis. Mobs will do everything they can to brutally destroy you. The terrain itself is is hostile in nature and key resources are scarce. Players will ambush you, mobs will murder you, and thieves will rob you. However, this is a land of exile. There are no rules. There are no governing powers. The only thing shaping your destiny is you and your blood soaked sword. Go solo or work with others to build a team of champions to survive and battle your way through the elements of this land.
This is a deathban hardcore PvP server. The server is designed to make survival something that is actually a challenge for once and a task that few shall prevail.
- Hardcore PvP and PvE experience (kill or be killed)
- Deathbans (you are banned for 2 hours when you die)
- A truly survival experience (starting zone is a desert wasteland)
- Custom mobs and mob AI to enhance the survival experience
- Game difficulty increases the deeper you venture into the world - Scarce resources and drop rates that increase with better tools
- Huge content depth from early starting stages of basic desert survival to late game unique dungeon content, boss mobs, legendary items, custom enchanting etc.
From the creators of the original Pandemonium deathban server...
We bring you the new Pandemonium II server, also known as Exile. This server runs the same mechanics system as Pandemonium with only a few minor tweaks. A wiki is in the works to provide greater detail in the future. For now, you will have to rely on the forums and word-of-mouth from the desert's war-torn survivors.
Screenshots:
The epic desert wasteland where your journey begins. This is the new desert of despair!
Small oasis zones are scattered throughout the desert area
Do you dare venture forth into the deep underground caverns?
Rules:
- No Mods or exploits allowed except Zan's Minimap.
(players are frequently banned for attempting to use lighting mods, xray, zombes fly mod, and mods that provide any kind of entity radar)
- No combat logging
- No climbing over or digging through the protected bedrock walls. If you find a hole in the wall, please report it and do not go through.
That's it.
You are free to kill, steal, and pillage to your hearts content. You decide your destiny.
WARNING: Once you are banned on this server, for any reason, you are permanently banned from a network of other servers as well through a shared blacklist. You have a 0% chance to be unbanned from any of Azmodan's / Haliotro's servers, even if you were banned mistakenly. We don't take chances. Once banned, always banned.
You are free to kill, steal, and pillage to your hearts content. You decide your destiny.
Exploit Protection:
- Anti-XRay features are in place on this server. That means two things for you. 1. You can hide chests and be 100% confident that they will not be found by any means xray. 2. You can be confident that players are not finding rare ores such as iron or diamond via xray.
- Nameplates are not visible underground or at a distance.
- Player tracking to identify and / or rollback damage from someone attempting to use xray
Warning: Do not raid or visit a base you find via chunk lag. This will be treated as xray use.
Basic Gameplay:
- Don't die. You are deathbanned for 2 hours when you die. This will cause you to lose everything that was on you. Thus, dying will usually be a major setback. Do everything you can to stay alive.
- Hunger is enabled. This also means you have a very limited amount of time to get your act together. Find a good source of food as soon as possible.
- Drops have been reduced. You will only get a handful of planks from punching down a tree. Work your way up to some decent tools as soon as possible.
- The soil is toxic. Dirt, grass, and farmland can only be harvested with shovels. Obsidian and mossy cobble are toxic as well.
- You cannot pick up sand without a shovel.
- Mobs get stronger the deeper you go into the dark underground caverns.
- Game difficulty increases substantially the further out you go from spawn.
- There is a naturally forming obsidian layer that will help you identify when you are passing into the most dangerous part of the deep mines.
- Gold weapons, armor and tools are better than diamond.
Wood < Stone < Iron < Diamond < Gold
New Players: MUST READ
1. When you first join the server, you may only have a matter of minutes to prepare yourself before night fall. Unless you really feel like you know what you're doing, do NOT hang out on the surface come night. You will die.
2. First thing you need to do, is come up with a basic plan of survival for your first night. That means, find gravel, look for any wood planks, grab some cactus, and build yourself the best possible survival shelter you can with what you've got. The deathbans are 12 hours, so this is your only shot and continuing your play on the survival until getting a 2nd try at it tomorrow.
3. Find Food. You need to work on a steady source of food to keep you alive as hunger is not enabled. Your gameplay will be short without food.
4. Find Wood. You need wood and / or some renewable trees to finally make yourself tools and a weapon. This is a very important milestone, but one that may take you several in-game days to achieve.
5. Form a team or be aggressive. Your chances of survival are much higher if you work together with others or at the very least, kill them off and take what little supplies they might have come up with.
6. Once you have some basic gear and good supply of food, venture underground to acquire some materials worth killing for.
76. Don't pick up dirt without a shovel. Don't break obsidian without a diamond pick. Don't punch mossy with your hands. They are all toxic.
7. Lava buckets are disabled.
8. If you find a rare resource like Diamond or Gold, use the best tools you have to harvest it for better drops.
9. A chest is the only way to save your progress...because eventually, you will die.
It is normal to rage quit on a daily basis when you die in-game. That's part of the experience of playing on a hardcore server. Goodluck

Did you read the New Players: MUST READ tips? If not, you will probably die quickly.
Pro-Tip: Never ever let yourself get a false sense of security on this server. Everyone dies...sooner or later, everyone dies.
Hardcore Team Building Tips:
Yes, working cooperatively with other competent players can give you a worth while advantage. Here are some tips to help you team up with complete strangers:
- The best way to earn trust is by helping someone.
- Take risks.
- Ask around. You may find a number of established players "looking for members to join them" just so they can draw you in and kill you with little effort. If you're new to the server, it's probably best to team up with others who are new to the server. You may want to gauge their skill level before doing so. If you've been playing a while, you should have some idea of who is already on a team and who or who not may be trusted.
- A good starting point is to team up with 2-3 others just to guard each other's backs and work together to clear out the deep caves. It's probably best however, to maintain different bases or at least different hidden stashes if you decide to defend a group shelter. Thus, there would be little benefit in betrayal. Greater trust can always be built up over time.
- Once you have an established team and a formidable team base, you're probably sharing most of your resources as a group. However, I still highly recommend that you agree to divide out the rare resources after each deep run and allow each member to hide their valuables in their own private stashes. These stashes should be well hidden and not simply 1-2 blocks into a wall somewhere in the base. This allows for the formation of large teams without the risk of losing your valuables to a betrayal. This sort of strategy also doubles as protection from losing your best stuff to a raid.
- For more advanced gameplay, use a voice chat service such as Skype or Vent. This will build trust very quickly.
Hardcore Base Building Tips:
Here's a few general tips for protecting your stash regardless of whether or not you choose to team up with others:
- This is a hardcore server. Eventually, your base will be found and it will be raided. Thus, don't go over the top decorating your base and making it look fancy. Focus on essential components of your base such as resource farms, storage, mine access, etc.
- Always hide your most valuable possessions.
- To protect from xray, your hidden stashes should be buried deep and in random locations. This will make it easy to identify xray use. Hiding your chest inside your base will likely cause it to be found. Burying your chest only 1-2 blocks deep will also allow it to be found much more easily.
With these tips, you will be able to take risks and work as a team with others without losing all of your hard work. Goodluck!

PANDEMONIUM II CHANGE LOG
Posted 31 December 2011 - 10:32 PM
Pandemonium II:
Here's some of the new features that I want to point out quick.
- Nameplates are no longer visible underground, behind blocks, and at a distance
- Mobs get stronger the deeper you go
- Mob drops and rare resources are better the deeper you go
- Weapon damage has been increased across the board
---------------------
New Mob Mechanics:
There are now a "sufficient" number of spawns at night and in the cave systems. This is not anything like what it was previously. Difficulty level now = hardcore.
New Mob Hunting:
Mobs can see you from further away
Mobs can break your torches to recruit allies
Zombies can break Sand, Sandstone, Gravel, Dirt, Grass, and Mossy Cobblestone to try and get to you
All mobs are hostile during the day and do not burn
Some mobs have been weakened slightly, but beware.
If you are new to the server, you will need to work very hard to survive your first night.
Here's some tips that will help new players:
1. Don't waste a moment. You will need every second of your first daylight to gather supplies and get to your night location
2. Quickly look for gravel or planks that you can use as building material for your night shelter. Zombies cannot break wood
3. If not comes and you are not prepared...and perhaps even if you are, RUN! This may be your only chance at survival.
4. 3 x 1 covered holes, cactus defense, and running are probably your best options. Goodluck
---------------------
New Features / Updates:
Mob spawning has been increased. This is much more noticeable on the surface.
The Eye of Ender bonus has been updated.
+ 1 heart damage all weapons (except bows)
+ 2 hearts damage to bows
+ significant fire damage bonus to all weapons
+ additional experience gain from all mob kills
An eye of ender simply needs to be in your inventory to automatically take effect.
---------------------
07 January 2012 - 12:49 PM
Zombies are even smarter and have a little bit better pathfinding.
PigZombies in the normal world are hostile on sight.
Rare spawns of cave spiders below the obsidian layer.
Surface mobs are a little bit weaker for now.
---------------------
Beware new players:
If you burrow into a mountain, those mobs are vastly more difficult than surface mobs.
If you make a 2 x 1 hole, you will find yourself being camped by mobs. If you do this, at least surround it in cactus so most of them get killed off in the process.
The server has been updated with a massive update of about 2 weeks worth of features. Most of these updates are geared towards the enchanting process, enchantment effects, and enchantment drops.
There are a few notable changes here. The first is improved durability for wood, stone, and iron weapons. In vanilla, iron swords have 250 uses and iron axes only 125. Stone is only 120 for sword and 60 on axe. As you can see, they've all been beefed up here. This is to make enchanted low-grade weapons more viable. Diamond axe durability was increased slightly. Gold axe durability was increased substantially.
wood sword: 2 1/2 hearts, 150 uses
wood axe: 3 hearts, 100 uses
stone sword: 3 1/2 hearts, 250 uses
stone axe: 4 hearts, 150 uses
iron sword: 4 1/2 hearts, 450 uses
iron axe: 5 1/2 hearts, 300 uses
diamond sword: 6 1/2 hearts, 1100 uses
diamond axe: 8 1/2 hearts, 900 uses
gold sword: 9 1/2 hearts, 2100 uses
gold axe: 15 1/2 hearts, 600 uses
bow: 4 1/2 hearts, 385 uses
Other important damage modifiers:
+ 1/2 heart damage bonus earned every 25 player levels
+ 1 heart damage bonus from Eye of Ender for melee weapons
+ 2 hearts damage bonus from Eye of Ender for bows
+ 12 1/2 seconds of enchanted fire damage to all weapons from Eye of Ender
+ 50% damage for Critical Hits (hits dealt while in mid-air)
This is just a fancy way of saying that weapon enchantments matter now. Mob health has been enhanced, but damage enchantments have been given significant upgrades. The idea is to allow your weapons to specialize against various mob types. Damage bonuses against various mob types can range from +20% to +700% damage now.
Enchantments Bane: Bonus damage vs Spiders, CaveSpiders, and Creepers Smite: Bonus damage vs Zombies, Skeletons, and Pig Zombies Sharpness: Bonus damage vs All Mobs and Players
Unlike vanilla Minecraft, you can now get interesting enchantment combos that stack together for an amplified effect. In vanilla, you can only have 1 damage enchant on a weapon. On the Pandemonium server, you can have 2 or all 3 of the damage enchants on a single weapon. Each one will stack together for added benefit.
Stacking Bonuses
Sharpness damage can act as a multiplier for your Bane or Smite damage as well.
If you have a sword with Smite 3 and Sharpness 2, you will get +150% damage vs Undead Mobs from the Smite 3 and then +30% damage vs all from the Sharpness 2 and extra damage on top from the armor piercing. All of your bonus damage from levels or special items such as Eye of Ender are amplified by these bonuses.
Damage Example
So if your base damage was 10, the Smite 3 would cause you to do 25 damage vs Undead (250% of normal damage). Stacking the Sharpness 2 damage on top, you now do 325% of normal damage, a total of 32 damage vs Undead in this scenario. This means that your Smite 3, Sharpness 2 sword will cut down Zombies, Skeletons, and Pig Zombies 3x easier than normal.
Armor Bonuses
In vanilla, armor can generally only have one type of protection enchantment. On the Pandemonium server, you can multiple protection enchantments that will stack together. For example, a helmet with Protection 2 provides an 8% damage reduction vs all damage. If your helmet also has Projectile Protection 4, this will provide 20% damage reduction from arrows. By having both, your helmet will block 8% of all damage first, and then another 20% of damage from arrows.
Armor enchantments block damage before it hurts the armor. This in effect provides a little durability bonus to the armor. Having Protection 2 on your helmet blocks the damage all of your armor pieces take by 8%. However, if you had Protection 2 on all four of your armor pieces, then your entire armor set would take 32% less damage and your health would take 32% less damage.
Number of Enchantments
The number of enchantments a weapon, piece of armor, or tool might have is influenced by the level of the enchantment you did. Most items will only have 1 or maybe 2 enchantments for lower leveled enchants. For high level enchants however, you're likely to see 3 or 4, or in very rare cases, 5 enchants on a single weapon. Similarly with armor, you might only see 1 enchantment at lower levels, but you'll start to see combinations of 2, 3 or possibly even 4 enchants at higher levels.
Swords:
level 0 - 24: 1 enchantment
level 25 - 49: 1 typically, sometimes 2
level 50 - 74: 1 - 2 typically, sometimes 3
level 75 - 100: 1 - 3 typically, sometimes 4, and 5 on very rare occasions
Axes / Tools:
level 0 - 24: 1 enchantment
evel 25 - 49: 1 typically, sometimes 2
level 50 - 74: 1-2 typically, sometimes 3
level 75 - 100: 1-3 typically
Bows:
level 0 - 24: 1 enchantment
evel 25 - 49: 1 typically, sometimes 2
level 50 - 74: 1-2 typically, sometimes 3
level 75 - 100: 1-3 typically, and 4 on rare occasions
Armor:
level 0 - 24: 1 enchantment
evel 25 - 49: 1 typically, sometimes 2
level 50 - 74: 1-2 typically, and 3 on rare occasions
level 75 - 100: 1-3 typically, and 4 on very rare occasions
Helmets also have a rare chance for an extra enchantment.
Unfortunately, the enchantment qualities are not totally up to date yet for Armor and Tools. The update was decided to be rolled before these were finished. These will follow in the next few days. In the mean time, the number of enchantments on armor and tools will be similar to vanilla.
To keep the game balanced and interesting, enchanted weapons, armor, and tools are now much more accessible than normal. This is accomplished through three venues:
1. Mobs
Enchanted gear is now dropped on occasion by a variety of different mobs.
2. Enchanting Shrines
Not existent in the current map.
3. Higher Level Enchanting without Bookcases
For the time being, bookcases are not necessary to access higher leveled enchants. All you need is an enchanting table.
You can now have more enchantments and more possible enchantment combinations with a new enchanting model that can use up to 100 player levels for max enchants. Each level of a potential enchantment displayed in your enchanting table menu represents a cost of 2 player levels. In addition, enchanting is now based on your total player xp instead of just an arbitrary number of levels. Thus, you are not penalized for doing enchantments while being higher leveled.
Enchantment Cost Based on Item Type
You can now enchant lower quality gear at a reduced enchanting cost.
Gold Gear and Bows require 1 - 100 levels for the enchantments
(enchantment values are still displayed as 1 - 30; every level in enchanting represents about 3 player levels in cost)
Diamond Gear can be enchanted at 25% reduced cost
Iron Gear can be enchanted at 50% reduced cost
Leather, Wood, and Stone Gear can be enchanted at 75% reduced cost.
Due to a bug in Bukkit, the enchantment table can not be modified to use enchants higher than level 30. When placing an item in the enchanting table, please refer to the tool tips that pop up on the left to understand what level enchant is there and how many levels it will cost you to use on that item.
Enchantment Assignment
Enchantments on your items are assigned at random. However, unlike the vanilla where the enchantment is based on things like the enchantability of the item and so on, here, the higher the level of the enchant you are putting on, the more likely you are to have better enchants and the more likely you are to have multiple enchants.
The level requirement for each enchantment represents the minimum level your enchantment needs to be possibly obtain the given enchant. The requirements are based on player level cost. If you want to try and get an enchantment with level req 80 for example, then you'll need to select an enchantment that is at least level 40 in your enchantment table. This of course does not mean that you will get that enchantment but it does mean that you at least have a chance to get that enchantment now. The higher the level the enchant you are doing, the more likely for your item to obtain multiple enchantments. It also varies the probability of getting each of the various enchantments.
Swords
Sharpness 1: +25% damage vs All, level req 15
Sharpness 2: 1 heart armor piercing + 40% damage vs All, level req 30
Sharpness 3: 1 1/2 hearts armor piercing + 60% damage vs All, level req 55
Sharpness 4: 2 hearts armor piercing + 90% damage vs All, level req 80
Sharpness 5: 3 hearts armor piercing + 135% damage vs All, level req 100
Fortune 1: +20% drop chance, level req 25
Fortune 2: +35% drop chance, level req 50
Fortune 3: +60% drop chance, level req 100
Axes can also obtain the efficiency enchantment. However, this has no impact on combat use.
Bows
Power 1: +50% damage vs All, +1/2 heart armor piercing, 20
Power 2: +100% damage vs All, +1 heart armor piercing, level req 35
Power 3: +175% damage vs All, +2 hearts armor piercing, level req 50
Power 4: +250% damage vs All, +3 1/2 hearts armor piercing, level req 75
Power 5: +350% damage vs All, +5 hearts armor piercing, level req 100
Flame 1: Adds 8 seconds of fire ticks, level req 50
Armor Piercing
As it sounds, armor piercing damage will ignore all armor and armor enchantment reductions. An item with armor piercing of 3 hearts, will always deal 3 hearts when it hits the target on top of whatever the normal damage is from your weapon. To Mobs that do not have armor, the armor piercing damage just acts like a critical hit doing an extra 50% of whatever the armor piercing amount is.
Apply Weakness
Weakness reduces the target's damage for it's next 5 attacks. Apply Weakness IV for example will reduce the target your damage is able to do by 40%. This applies to All Mobs and Players and not just the Zombies, Skeletons, and Pig Zombies that are affected by the Smite damage bonus. Though less effective against a mob of targets, the Apply Weakness bonus can quickly turn a fight in your favor when fighting a target one on one.
Absorb Health
The Absorb Health bonus gives a chance to steal some of the target's health and heal you up to 10% of your maximum health. If your chance to absorb health hits, you will always gain 10% health up to your maximum total health. The target will in turn lose 1 heart of health that bypasses all armor.
Looting and Fortune
The Looting bonus applies to all rare loot drops including diamonds, gold, and enchanted gear.
As is with the other enchantable items, the level requirement shown for the armor enchantments is the minimum level your enchantment needs to be in terms of player levels in order to have a chance of obtaining the particular enchantment. Also as mentioned earlier, the damage reduction applied by the enchantment bonuses also reduces durability loss. The enchantment benefits from each armor piece stack together as a whole set to protect both your armor and your health. So for example, if all 4 of your armor pieces had Blast Protection 4, then you would receive 80% less damage and durability loss from explosions.
ARMOR
Protection 1: -5% damage vs all, level req 25
Protection 2: -8% damage vs all, level req 55
Protection 3: -11% damage vs all, level req 80
Protection 4: -15% damage vs all, level req 100
Fire Protection 1: -5% fire damage, level req 10
Fire Protection 2: -10% fire damage, level req 30
Fire Protection 3: -15% fire damage, level req 60
Fire Protection 4: -20% fire damage, level req 85
Respiration 1: Level 1 water breathing improvement and damage reduction from suffocation, level req 15
Respiration 2: Level 2 water breathing improvement and damage reduction from suffocation, level req 35
Respiration 3: Level 3 water breathing improvement and damage reduction from suffocation, level req 65
Aqua Affinity: Improves underwater mining efficiency, level req 65
As is with the other enchantable items, the level requirement shown for the armor enchantments is the minimum level your enchantment needs to be in terms of player levels in order to have a chance of obtaining the particular enchantment.
This means that a Bow with Power 1 does the same damage as a diamond sword and a Bow with Power 3 with the bonus damage of being Level 50 would give you bow damage the same as a gold axe.
However, attacking with a bow now causes you to become 40% more vulnerable to damage for 8 seconds. Thus, making bow use a more specialized skill.
Summary: Bow costs 100 levels for max enchant, use of bows cause 40% extra vulnerability to damage, bow enchants are now even stronger than before.
The sharpness enchant now does more damage than previously.
Sword:
Sharpness 1: +25% damage vs All, level req 15
Sharpness 2: +40% damage vs All, + 1 heart armor piercing, level req 30
Sharpness 3: 60% damage vs All, + 1 1/2 hearts armor piercing, level req 55
Sharpness 4: 90% damage vs All, + 2 hearts armor piercing, level req 80
Sharpness 5: 135% damage vs All, + 3 hearts armor piercing, level req 100
------------------------------------------------
Updates:
Weapon Damages Improved:
This was to create more benefit to the variation between weapons.
/stats
will show the current stats of your weapon including damage vs different mob types and durability (works for swords, axes, and bows)
When the command is used, you will see a message that says "Silverfish spawned". You can ignore that. It just so happens that I'm spawning a non-existent silverfish at your location in order to trigger the stats check on your weapon.
Damage stats are displayed in HP damage, also known as 1/2 hearts.
------------------------------------------------
Feature Updates:
Ender Pearls are now consumable for XP
1. When you have an ender pearl in your inventory, type /enderxp
2. Ender Pearls give 4,000 XP
Keep in mind that the alternative use for Ender Pearls is combining them with a Blaze Rod to make an Eye of Ender which provides a handful of player benefits.
If i could make a suggestion, Make the deathban 1 hour or 30 minutes otherwise the server will die quickly.
Also i died on lolness due to hunger
Now playing turkc and loving it.And i just logged in on turkc and was dead...i logged out with full hearts?
):Any chance of getting unbanned?:smile.gif:
The amount of customization that the admin / developer adds is insane. I played his last server, and it was hands down the best server I've ever played. Me and my 5 friends would play it all day for weeks on end.
It's insane how much work this guy puts into his server and he deserves alot more recognition, give the server a try.
If i could make a suggestion, Make the deathban 1 hour or 30 minutes otherwise the server will die quickly.
Also i died on lolness due to hunger
Now playing turkc and loving it.
And i just logged in on turkc and was dead...i logged out with full hearts?
):
Any chance of getting unbanned?:smile.gif:
Yeah, I just removed hunger because everyone kept dying way too fast.
Now, keep in mind that you need food to regain hearts. The mobs are not very friendly on this server.
Great server, Good fun until you die due to your own stupidity to get that piece of coal you so wanted.
i hope yogogopo or whatever his name was treats my iron pic with the care it deserves;)
See you in 12 hours!
XD damnable creepers, never turn your back to them even if you think they are stuck XD. Thanks for the help lolness hopefully zixi lives and is able to make a grave for both of us XD. Lots of fun recomend this server a lot and will try out Pandemonium.
I just added the same anti-xray features that were being used on the Pandemonium server. This renders it nearly impossible xrayers to find hidden chests or locate certain rare ores on the map.
As part of the update, if you find yourself mining in the dark and see strange ores everywhere, stop mining in the dark. Either turn off your lighting mod or adjust your monitor settings back to normal and you won't find yourself mining in the dark anymore. Not to mention, you'll live a lot longer that way, I promise.
On making a hidden chest: Any chest you place under a block of smooth stone will be permanently invisible to any xray attempts once you leave the area where your chest is.

Glad the server is back! If you like Hardcore PvP, this server is one of a kind, I've searched, and played Many other Hardcore PvP servers, Some are good, some are even great. But this server is just, Awesome. the fact that everything has a drop rate, The fact that it's every man for himself, Found someones base? Raid that ****!... 12 hours is the perfect amount of time for a Deathban. Just long enough to make you say EFF, I died. Keeps the server alive, But you also see alot of people die in a day, Which is hilarious all on its own.
First of all, I'm glad you all are back again. Pandemonium was an amazing server. The level of quality and time put into this server is incredible. Nothing has been forgotten every little detail has been manipulated in some way to make the experience the best it can be while still being a very difficult challenge. The deathbans keep you tense at all times and there was never a dull moment. This server is just the same. Although its just a stepping stone for Pandemoniums new release, I look forward to all the great moments to be had, with and against, you all.
This is by far the best Hardcore server I've ever been on and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a challenge. Think back to that very first week playing minecraft, all the excitement you had, all the new things, all the scary and amazing first times, that is exactly what this server is like. Just like the first time. The conditions are harsh, but you'll always find yourself wanting more. I can't wait to play with everyone again and welcome all of you newcomers. You won't regret playing on this server.

- Game difficulty increases the deeper you venture into the world
- Scarce resources and drop rates that increase with better tools
Goodluck

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Famous Enchantment Update
The server has been updated with a massive update of about 2 weeks worth of features. Most of these updates are geared towards the enchanting process, enchantment effects, and enchantment drops.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Table of Contents:
1. Weapon / Durability Updates
2. Weapon Specialization
3. Enchantment Combos
4. Access to Enchanted Gear
5. How the New Enchantment Table Works
6. Enchantment Guide: Weapons
7. Enchantment Guide: Armor
8. Enchantment Guide: Tools
Breakdown of XP per Level in Minecraft:
https://docs.google....VTg5bWxrLUtWTnc
This will help those who are interested understand the difference of xp between levels.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
1. Weapon / Durability Updates
-----------------------------------------------------------------
2. Weapon Specialization
This is just a fancy way of saying that weapon enchantments matter now. Mob health has been enhanced, but damage enchantments have been given significant upgrades. The idea is to allow your weapons to specialize against various mob types. Damage bonuses against various mob types can range from +20% to +700% damage now.
Enchantments
Bane: Bonus damage vs Spiders, CaveSpiders, and Creepers
Smite: Bonus damage vs Zombies, Skeletons, and Pig Zombies
Sharpness: Bonus damage vs All Mobs and Players
-----------------------------------------------------------------
3. Enchantment Combos
-----------------------------------------------------------------
4. Access to Enchanted Gear
-----------------------------------------------------------------
5. How the New Enchantment Table Works
-----------------------------------------------------------------
6. Enchantment Guide: Weapons

Smite 1: +50% damage vs Undead, level req 10
Smite 2: apply weakness: -8% damage, +100% damage vs Undead, level req 20
Smite 3: apply weakness II: -15 damage, +150% damage vs Undead, level req 35
Smite 4: apply weakness III: -25% damage, +225% damage vs Undead, requires level req 60
Smite 5: apply weakness IV: -40% damage, +350% damage vs Undead, requires level req 85
Bane 1: +50% damage vs Arthropods, level req 10

7. Enchantment Guide: Armor

Updates:
Base Damage: 4 1/2 hearts
Enchanting Cost: updated back to 100% (max enchant costs 100 levels)
This means that a Bow with Power 1 does the same damage as a diamond sword and a Bow with Power 3 with the bonus damage of being Level 50 would give you bow damage the same as a gold axe.
However, attacking with a bow now causes you to become 40% more vulnerable to damage for 8 seconds. Thus, making bow use a more specialized skill.
Summary: Bow costs 100 levels for max enchant, use of bows cause 40% extra vulnerability to damage, bow enchants are now even stronger than before.
Sharpness 1: +25% damage vs All, level req 15

New Features:
/stats
will show the current stats of your weapon including damage vs different mob types and durability (works for swords, axes, and bows)
When the command is used, you will see a message that says "Silverfish spawned". You can ignore that. It just so happens that I'm spawning a non-existent silverfish at your location in order to trigger the stats check on your weapon.
Damage stats are displayed in HP damage, also known as 1/2 hearts.

Feature Updates:
2. Ender Pearls give 4,000 XP
Keep in mind that the alternative use for Ender Pearls is combining them with a Blaze Rod to make an Eye of Ender which provides a handful of player benefits.
I hope you enjoy the updated features!
Also i died on lolness due to hunger
Now playing turkc and loving it.And i just logged in on turkc and was dead...i logged out with full hearts?
):Any chance of getting unbanned?:smile.gif:
It's insane how much work this guy puts into his server and he deserves alot more recognition, give the server a try.
Yeah, I just removed hunger because everyone kept dying way too fast.
Now, keep in mind that you need food to regain hearts. The mobs are not very friendly on this server.
Pandemonium will be back someday soon. This server is helping us figure out the code updates that are needed.
i hope yogogopo or whatever his name was treats my iron pic with the care it deserves;)
See you in 12 hours!
-lolness/turkc
Alight take care of that hole we call base! Not permaban, can play again tmrrw so will help improve it.
Goodluck guys.
New Anti-Xray Features
I just added the same anti-xray features that were being used on the Pandemonium server. This renders it nearly impossible xrayers to find hidden chests or locate certain rare ores on the map.
As part of the update, if you find yourself mining in the dark and see strange ores everywhere, stop mining in the dark. Either turn off your lighting mod or adjust your monitor settings back to normal and you won't find yourself mining in the dark anymore. Not to mention, you'll live a lot longer that way, I promise.
On making a hidden chest: Any chest you place under a block of smooth stone will be permanently invisible to any xray attempts once you leave the area where your chest is.
i might go back to playing 100+ hours a month
I look forward to trying it again tomorrow.
I recommend this server ALOT ! epic to the max.
