Full Name: Aed Wodesome
Current Age: 40
Sub-race (if any): Adunian
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Down, up, left, left, right. Aéd matched the strokes of Erik’s waster almost casually as they danced about the yard. A parry here, a lunge there, and within 30 seconds, Erik had been disarmed and put to the ground. Aéd looked with confidence to Erik’s surprised eyes and said “Aren’t as sharp with the blade as ye’re with the wits, are ye m’lad?” as he helped his brother to his feet.”At least I know yer on my side” Erik responded, shaking dust from his person. Aed smiled as they walked back to their home.
Later that evening, the brothers met at the firepit with their family. There was Cenric, Erik, Aed, their father Cenhelm, and grandfather Addawulf. Addy, their sister, had gone to sleep early that night. As they gathered around the fire, Addawulf began to speak in hollow tones, as if to make himself seem the only sound in the night. “The Wodesomes, we were once great. I ‘ave told ye this many-a-time, but I must express ‘ow important it is.” All eyes were on the old man, with his silken beard and hard eyes. “Tonight, I’ll tell ye about our once great family...”
“The great halls of Rolosborg shown of bronze and silver, the greatest family of merchants in the mainland owned those gilded halls. In those gilded halls was also a gilded throne, of the likes that had ne’er been seen before. Upon that gilded throne in the gilded hall, there sat a gilded man.”
Erik interjects, “That’s a lot of silver!”
“Aye, it was! One day the gilded man on the gilded throne was greeted by another man in gilded garments. Do ye know who ‘e was? Erik, Aéd?”
Aéd exclaimed, “No, pap! Tell us!”
Addawulf smiled at the boy and resumed, “The man was a messenger...” Addawulf made a sweeping motion with his hands, then. Aéd smiled happily at the motion.
“But the messenger didn’t bring good news, no...” The smile was wiped from Aéd’s face. “That day, the gilded man on his gilded throne in his gilded halls was given very bad news indeed.” The boys leaned in closer to hear the words of their grandfather. “The message that ‘e brought to the gilded man was world-shaking, it was! The gilded man on his gilded throne was told that ‘e was no longer allowed in the world ‘e loved. The gilded man had to leave his gilded throne and his gilded halls and go only the Three know where!”
Aéd’s mouth went agape at the thought, and Erik asked, “Where was he sent, Pap!?”
The old man replied, “They were sent nowhere, just away. The great gilded man knew not what to do, but with ‘is last scrounges of wealth, ‘e bought a ship for ‘is family and some of their close friends, to the island that we live on now...”
“What was his name, the gilded man?” asked an anxious Erik.
“The gilded man’s na-”
Just then, a loud crack sounded in the distance. Cenhelm stood up and motioned for the group to stay put. He then went out onto the beach and found a wooden boat of Adunian make beached against a rock on the shore. Cenhelm looked shocked as he realized why the water looked darker than normal. Cenhelm inched around the side of the boat and found a dead man in a kilt lying inside of it...
*****
*seventeen years later*
Aed scratched his beard as they looked at the graves. Poor Addawulf had told his last tale, and their poor Addy, she had sung her last as well. Cenhelm walked up behind the two men put his hands on their shoulders. “Do you remember that man we found those many years ago?” Aed stares back at him. “Aye, what of ‘im?”
“That man, ‘e may herald the new age of Adunia... I want you to take yer brother Cenric and go to the mainland... Return our glory and avenge the needless deaths of your kin.”
Aed and Erik nod solemnly and begin work on the boat the next day.
Ambitions for the Future:
Aéd, and the rest of the Wodesome clan for that matter, seek glory and rebuilding of the family trading empire and glory their name. It is to be gained through any means necessary.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer:
Aed notices the shady figure begin to quicken pace as he makes his way to the palace. Rather than alerting the guards- as surely they must have more important business to attend to than a hooded man walking in the streets- Aed decides to approach the man diplomatically.
Aed: Aye stranger! Might I ask what yerself be doin' squabblin' about the streets like a proper thief?
Shady man: Leave me be, knave.
Aed: Well that's no way to treat a man who only wants a friendly conversation, en't it?
Shady man: *draws dagger* If you want to make it to your family alive, you'll back away and be quiet!
Aed: *backs away slowly, showing false signs of fear* Aye lad, I mean no trouble.
Shady man: Right. You don't. Now go "squabble" back to your filth of a home an--
*Aed tackles the shady man to the ground before he can continue, knocking the weapon from his hand and leaving him dazed.*
Aed draws his sword and calls for a nearby guard, letting him do his duty.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer:
Aed slowly walks toward the bandit marauders, gaining as much ground as possible. Before the bandits can react, Aed shouts out to them:
Aed: AYE! You there! What business have ye to threaten that man? Scurry off, or it will be your head!
Bandit 1 looks to Bandit 2 and back to Aed, and advances quickly. Aed gets in the best fighting stance he can and makes himself look as big and frightening as possible. As the second, and faster, bandit closes in on Aed, Bandit 1 apprehends the helpless old man. Aed makes quick work of the nimble bandit, who didn't seem nimble enough to dodge the uppercut Aed had prepared. Bandit 1 looks to Aed, with a sword drawn to the man's neck, and says:
Bandit 1: Hand o'er all of your gold, er the old one gets it!
Aed withdraws a coin purse from his satchel and tosses it on the ground, midway between he and the bandit. The bandit tosses aside the old man and reaches for the coin purse. Before he can get to it, Aed has charged and drawn blades with him. Aed sustains a cut to his thigh, and ends the conflict with a stab through the gullet.
Aed approaches the old man, ensures that he is well, collects his things, and sets back off on the road.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer:
Aed, coming from a trading family, knows just how to haggle with these types of people. However, his curiousity gets the better of him, and he asks for any ale the man may be carrying.
Aed: So, fine gentleman, have you any mead for a weary traveler? 'Been on the road for three days now. Could use a good rest, aye?
Merchant: Ah yes, I have many a bottle of common ales and meads. However, I do have exotic drinks that may interest you...
Aed: Well out with it, lad! What 'ave you got?
Merchant: I have picked up different, stronger ales from caravans of all sorts. Would the fine customer like to browse my wares?
Aed: Aye, I've got nothin' better ta do, I s'pose!
Merchant: Here is a bottle of my finest Elven wine. Unfortunately I have so few bottles that I can not have anyone taste test. Would you be interested?
Aed: Why, I've never seen anythin' like it! Look at the glow! How much for it then, lad?
Merchant: I'll take 200 gold for it, dear sir.
Aed: Oof, well that's a bit of a problem. How's about somethin' like 30 gold?
Merchant: Outrageous! I bought it from the caravan for much more than that!
Aed: Well, I can understand that. You're a hard-workin' man. Got a family back home?
Merchant: Well, yes sir, I do. My wife ,Lunette, and my daughter, Rosaline.
Aed: Aye, I know how it can be with that. I'll tell ya what. How about 50 gold pieces, and this *takes out flute* for your daughter?
Merchant: Why, my little girl has wanted to learn to play for ages! You have a deal.

Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Jethrodiah Baitsman
Current Age: 56
Sub-race (if any): Northerner
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Jethrodiah Baitsman, born fifty-six years ago to his parents, Malachi (Age: 47) and Ambrose (Age: 45) Baitsman, lived most of his life in the town of New Arethor. His father was, by trade, a fisherman, and a very competent one at that (it is the family trade, after all). Since the age of three, Jethrodiah has lived and learned by a river, stream, or any body of water large enough to support aquatic life, as he had to assist his father every day in the day's fishing because it was the only way they could make ends meet. In the evenings, young Jethrodiah would come home with his father and, as his mother would prepare the evening's meal, Malachi would tell him of fantastic tales of their family, swearing that the first generation of Baitsmen were the best line of fishermen in all of Aegis, and how their fish were a favorite meal of King Enor Sheffield of Oren (He never questioned the validity of this).
Jethrodiah had to become a man a bit earlier than the other boys of Elysium, as shortly after his tenth birthday, Malachi suffered a terrible wound on his left hand when he was attacked by the undead on his way home from an extended fishing trip to finish off the rest of the month's debt. The severity of the wound, along with the time it took to get Malachi to the nearest doctor, made the amputation of the hand necessary. After that event, Malachi would have to stand behind his son and use his right hand to help young Jethrodiah pull in the day's catches. Regardless of the constant pressure of mounting debts and Malachi's unfortunate wound, the Baitsman family was happy.
Life continued in this vein for the next thirty years, with Jethrodiah becoming the man of the family as his father's health deteriorated from age and exhaustion. Jethrodiah slowly found himself having to spend more time taking care of his father, and within the same year, his mother. As debts rose and their conditions worsened, Jethrodiah sank into a deep depression, spending most of his time staring into the water he should've been fishing in. At age 47, Jethrodiah Baitsman had to cremate the bodies of his parents, who had finally succumbed to their chronic illnesses. The scar of these events cast a shadow over his life, as well as the house he lived in and the waters he would gather his income from. Because of this tragedy, he was all too happy to board the first boats to Anthos the following year.
Once the boats docked in Anthos, Jethrodiah forcefully shut out the grief of his past and pursued work within the walls of the city of Kingston. Over the next eight years he became accustomed to the lands around him and had practically become complacent with his surroundings. Every day he wakes up in the morning and sits by the quiet waters of the stream that flows near the Anthos Highway, the water being the only thing that can calm his scarred heart.
Ambitions for the Future:
To survive, pay off monthly debt, and become a respected fisherman for the Baitsman name
Personality:
Terse, patient, and understanding. His opinions are moderate and are capable of being swayed in either direction depending on the crowd he's in, and he shows a cool affection to those he cares about.
Skills:
Fishing
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin)
Average height (5' 10''), pale, aging skin. Gray beard, fishing clothes, green eyes.
Any other details you wish to share about your character:
Due to his father's wound in his early life he was never taught any sort of swordplay or other physical activity. His mother was able to teach him how to read and write, though.

*Jethrodiah stops speaking to himself mid-sentence as he notices a mysterious black figure making his way towards the palace*
"Now just what is that man up to, I wonder?"
*Jethrodiah continues to inspect the figure as a group of guards walk by. As the guards walk by, he clears his throat, and says in a soft voice*
"Excuse me, sirs, should that man be-"
*The guards continue walking by, paying no attention to him. Jethrodiah clears his throat loudly, causing one of the guards to look back*
"Excuse me, sirs, but should that man be entering the palace?"
*Jethrodiah points to the spot where the man was, only to find that he is no longer there*
"Sir," *The guard begins, annoyed* "The next time you feel like distracting us from our duty, try to make it a bit more believable, eh?"
*The other guards snicker and the group walks away*
"Bastards." *Jethrodiah huffs* "That man can do what he wants in the palace since the damn guards don't feel like guarding it."
*Jethrodiah rises with another sigh and begins to walk towards the exit, flinching as a piercing scream comes from the palace, sending several guards rushing for the gate*

"'Oi, some'ow we don't find ourselves believein' 'ye, now do we, Wallace?" *One bandit says to the other*
"Aye, Jacob," *The second bandit says, holding his sword closer to the old man* "I think he's lyin'!"
*The old man cries for help as one of the bandits disarms the old man and the other begins trashing his house*
"Oh... What am I supposed to do about this?" *Jethrodiah mumbles to himself* "I haven't used one of these things before in my life and I'll be damned if I'm going to train on those two..."
*Jethrodiah looks on as the bandits continue destroying the old man's home*
"I think I know what I'll do... I'll stay hidden, and when the bandits leave I'll run up to help him and act like I never witnessed any of this... Yes, that's what I'll have to do."
*The second bandit leaves the home carrying some books and a small pouch of gold*
"'Oi! I knew 'e was lyin'! Look what I found under 'is bed!"
*The bandit shows the gold and books to the other bandit, who is holding his sword to the old man's throat*
"Who d'ya think 'ye were foolin', old man?" *The first bandit says to the old man, leaning within inches of his face*
"Why don't we just kill 'im and be done with it?" *The other bandit calls to the first*
"Naw, we won't do that, now will we, old man?" *The first bandit inquires the man, who whimpers*
"Just burn it down. It'll be teachin' 'im a lesson anyway!" *The first bandit replies to the second, who pulls a torch off of one of the walls and sets it on the floor*
*The first bandit grabs the old man by the collar and throws him onto the ground while the other one laughs*
"Now don't go lyin' to us next time, aye?" *The bandits laugh and walk away into the woods*
*Jethrodiah runs up to the old man*
"Are you alright? What happened?"
*The old man lies on the ground, unconscious, as his home goes up in flames behind him*
"Well, that got a bit too out of hand... Not really much I can do now, I guess."
*Jethrodiah leaves some coins and food on the ground by the man and walks away*

Answer: *Jethrodiah walks up to the man's stall*
"G'day, merchant. How much will it take to let go of that fishing pole over there?" *Jethrodiah points to a fishing pole lying on top of a chest marked, "Tools"*
"For her?" *The merchant begins* "I'd say about... 50 minas"
*Jethrodiah is taken back at such a price*
"You're joking, right? I haven't seen a day in my life where any quality pole was worth more than 15 or 20 minas at most. I won't offer any more than 20."
"Sir, you may not understand, but this is a special pole." *The merchant picks the pole up and holds it in the air*
"This pole is made of the finest quality of birch wood that a man can find. Anyone could see the obvious worth of this pole." *The merchant sets the pole on the stand with a smirk*
"This pole looks like it was made of some floating scrap of wood you found in the gutter this morning. Come to think of it, I don't want that thing anymore. It looks like it would break before I could reel in one fish with it." *Jethrodiah begins to walk away*
"Wait, wait, wait! We can negotiate..." *The merchant begins*
"How about I sell you this pole for... 15 minas and..." *The merchant thinks*
"Make it 12 minas and I'll throw in this fish." *Jethrodiah slaps a fish onto the stand*
"Hm... Make it 13."
"11."
"But you just sa-" *The merchant begins*
"I know what I said." *Jethrodiah interrupts the merchant*. "Now you're lucky I'm still giving you the time of day with this rod. 11 minas and this fish or I walk."
*The merchant inhales sharply before sighing*
"Fine."
"Good." *Jethrodiah places 11 minas on the counter and collects his pole, peering over it*
"This actually does look like a nice pole... Probably could've paid 10 for it though..." *Jethrodiah mumbles to himself*

Current Age: 22
Sub-race (if any): Dark Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Cellissel was raised with her family of traveling bards and had a simple childhood. Though her parents never had much money, they always encouraged a bright, optimistic spirit. Cellissel was a curious young girl. She loved traveling around to meet new people and explore new places. She was very patient, though she sometimes got tired of one thing and eager to move on to something new. She never had all that much energy like most children; she rather preferred to think and ask questions. Singing was always her favorite pastime, and still remains so.
Now old enough to travel on her own, Cellissel has set out to see Malinor for herself. Her love of arts and singing has pushed her to continue performing and entertaining. Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Cellissel has lightish gray skin and pure white hair. Her eyes are a pastel periwinkle. She wears a tattered purple shirt and black skirt, the only clothing she owns due to her lack of money. The flower in her hair is for remembrance of her family, because it’s the same kind her mother used to grow.
Any other details you wish to share about your character: Oh yeah, and she’s a pacifist.
Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: Cellissel approaches the group of elves, her eyebrows raised skeptically. “Why are you doing this? Can’t you go about your own business?” They all turn to her. The younger elf’s face is still frozen with fear as the older elves sneer at the newcomer. One of them raises a sword, pointing at playfully at Cel’s nose. “And you think you can take us all by yourself?” The others snicker. Cel takes several steps back. “No, I don’t want to fight you. I just want you to leave that poor little boy alone.” “And what could you possibly do to get us to do that?” “I….” She looks between them one last time and bolts off into the woods to the sound of their laughter.
2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
Answer: Cellissel scoops up the coins and puts them back into the pouch. She sets it next to him, bending down and asking, “Are you alright?” The man moans slightly. Cel furrows her brow, worried. “Do you need any help?” She takes his lack of response as a yes. With one last look at the sack of auras, she runs off to the nearest town to get him a doctor.
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer: Cellissel approaches the clearing a bit hesitantly. “Step right up, I’ve got anything you may need. How may I help you, young lady?” Cel stares in wonder at the carriage, eyeing a small shell. She picks it up and runs her hand over its smooth, ribbed surface, admiring the tints of pink and purple in its cream complexion. She turns back to the man to ask, “How much is this?” The man smiles warmly, seeing that he may make a sale. “Ah, yes, that beautiful shell. Tell you what; I’ll cut you a deal. I’ll ask only thirty Minas. What a bargain!” Cel’s eyes widen as she puts down the shell. “I can’t afford that! I have to save all my money for food.” She sighs, discouraged, before she suddenly comes up with another idea. “Will you accept fifteen for it?” The man raises an eyebrow. “Fifteen? No. Twenty is the minimum, if you’re that persistent.” Cel nods, her face brightening. “Twenty Midas it is.” She hands him the money, still looking down at her shell in admiration. “Thank you kindly, ma’am,” the man says. “Please do come again.” Cel nods and walks off, too busy thinking about the shell to realize how much of her money she spent on a useless object.

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer: Under normal circumstances, Dunhill Edgehand would not persue the minerals, but since it was such a large amount of diamonds, he thinks of all the tools and supplies he could thrive his small plot of farm with. He starts to make his way towards to the brittle, weak bridge. As the stone bridge begins to chip and break apart, Dunhill starts to move more cautious and with more speed. as he almost reaches the end of the bridge, a large chunk of the bridge falls to the bottomless pit below. Dunhill reaches the his destination, taking the diamonds. Dunhill stows the diamonds away into his overall's. Darting across the crumbling bridge, Dunhill makes a large leap over the gash in the bridge where the part had fallen out. He just shortly grabs a hold of the bridge, pulling himself up to the other side. Making his way off the bridge, he turns around, seeing the bridge collapse. Dunhill marches away with confidence and diamonds.
2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?
Answer: Stand firmly in front of the small dwarf, protectively. As the Two older dwarves Stop and notice Dunhill stick up for the small dwarf, they don't say a word as the walk out of the tavern. As you turn to the child, he stares up a you and say, "Thank you." with tears still running from his face. Dunhill ask, " What was that all about, Laddy?". He explains that the local teenagers were making fun of him for losing his parents to a recent Orc bandit raid. He tried to defend himself with words against the teens, but he retreated to the tavern, thinking he had lost the antagonizing kids. Dunhill replies with a sigh, "I understand what you are going through, Lad.". The young one replies,"Really?". As Dunhill explains the story of how his parents were killed by dragons, long ago, the child hugs Dunhill and starts to sob. Dunhill just rubs the child's back and says," It'll be alright."
3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?
Answer: Dunhill just shakes his head, and says,"No Thanks, Lad. I'v got work that needs to be tendin'." The Bearded bartender says," It's on the house, Mate!". Dunhill thinks to himself for a moment. He's had a very long week. The shipment of seeds and buckets did not come in as they we scheduled and the usual problem like poor tools and the old wagon keep breaking down on him. He gives into his senses and starts towards the bartender. After about five hours of hardcore drinking, three arm wrestles, and one broken pint glass over a poor *******'s head, You've given in and headed home. The next morning he wakes in his bed, back at home with the largest hangover he has ever experienced. Saying aloud," I will never do that again.". Startled by a voice from behind him in his bed," Why not? That was fun.". He turns to see a very good looking Human woman. Dunhill looks at the Human woman and just says," Aw' ****.."

Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: An act of putting oneself into the role of another character, either created by themselves or assigned by another person. These characters interact with each other via virtually through role-playing games or in real life.
Meta-gaming: The use of knowledge outside of a role-playing scenario to benefit oneself inside the
role-playing environment. This act is highly frowned upon and in some cases illegal.
Power-emoting: The abuse of the emote command to take advantage of another player so that that player is powerless. For example if I were to say jeffthebaker turns around and stabs victor in the heart this would be considered power-emoting because victor has no opportunity to counteract my stab and has to accept the fact that I stabbed him in the heart. This, as well as meta-gaming, is also highly frowned upon and in most instances illegal.
In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Jefferson Daraznosonbien
Current Age: 18
Sub-race (if any): Northerner
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Jefferson Daraznosonbien never had a direction in his childhood. His father was a drunk and was hardly home. He didn't keep a job and sat on the street corner begging for enough money to buy a pint of ale. His mother was a hardworking woman. She was never taught a craft but supported Jeff and herself by performing odd jobs.
But that all changed when Jeff was 13. His mom was away for the weekend, she had the task of delivering a message to the Dwarven caverns. She said she would be back in 4 days. But the 4th day ended and she hadn't returned. Then the 5th day passed, and a week, and 10 days. Some say an Orc abducted her somewhere along the route, one witness believes he saw that very lady being brutally murdered by an Orc.
Jefferson Daraznosonbien soon accepted the fact his mother was gone, and he couldn't count on his dad. He soon took to pilfering a bit of food here and there, just enough to get by. He took what he needed when he needed, not because of greed, but for necessity. By the age of 17 he was following his mother's footsteps, in a way. He performed tasks for those who payed well, but he performed different jobs. Not tending cattle or delivering messages, Jeff found himself in the business of some rather "dirty" jobs. Sometimes people disappeared, sometimes people wake up finding their valuables gone. Was it Jeff? Nobody can say for sure.
Ambitions for the Future: Power, fortune. The way to advance in society is with money, and with money grants power. Of anything else, Jefferson craves power. Knowledge, skills, magic, anything that can give Jeff an advantage, he desires.
Personality: Jefferson Daraznosonbien doesn't go out of his way to meet many people, but those who do know him know he is a very intelligent man. He doesn't talk much, but when he does, there is a meaning to what he says. His close friends might even argue he can be quite humorous. Jeff sees the value in everything, and he is always on his toes. He is a thinker, but also a do'er. If Jeff want's something done he does it himself.
Skills: Jefferson Daraznosonbien is extremely dexterous. He is great with using weapons but also creating them. His small arsenal of daggers and knives were all self-made. And his excellence in combat gives him little difficulty when conquering his opponents. He craves knowledge, and is easily adaptable to the elements he is introduced to.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):
Any other details you wish to share about your character: I plan on developing Jefferson Daraznosonbien into a rogue-type character. The little alliances and deals I make are purely made for self benefit. Although a human, I wouldn't consider this character as being loyal to any race.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Let the guards handle it. Surely there are enemies about and creating a scene won't do any good. There is no reason to attack the man, even if I kill him I wouldn't be able to loot the body before the guards arrive. I am here for a reason, and that reason is not to body guard the Emperor. I don't even like the emperor. He can kill the emperor, we need a political change anyways.
Answer: I wait, always watching. I get near them but not close enough to where they can sense my presence. One man starts looting the old man's pockets while the other stands behind him and laughs. I get behind the one laughing and swiftly take him out. The other bandit turns around and grabs for his weapon but it's too late. I already have my throat up to his neck. I kill him and then loot the bandits. I sort out what belongs to the old man and return it to him. He thanks me and I nod as I walk away, slightly grinning with the satisfaction of helping an old man and getting some money.
Answer: I quickly scan one end of the stall to another. A brightly colored stone in the corner catches my eye, it is obviously valuable. I grab it and give the small man a relatively low price. He accepts, obviously not knowing the value. I plan on reselling the stone to another stall, making a quick and easy profit. There are also a pile of spell books. I don't know much magic but it would be a good tool to use. I look through the pile and find a couple appealing books. I give the man a fair price, noting I am already profitting off of the stone. He accepts the price and I walk away with the books and the stone.

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions
from elsewhere!
Role-playing: Creating a
fake character that you play throughout its “life”. For instance in gmod I
would usually create a civilian create a stand and sell various goods. When I
got enough money I would eventually buy a house and maybe even start a “family”
with some friends.
Meta-Gaming: For instance if I see a character name behind a mountain I can’t say
“oh lets go see how the view is on top of this mountain.” In other words if I
in real life know information it doesn’t necessarily mean my character in game
does.
Power-Gaming: If I’m an assassin I can’t say “sneak up behinds the guard and slits
his throat silently”. I have to give the character/person in game time to react
to my actions or type.
In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Riondil Seni
Current Age: 20
Lineage: Father was a cross
between a High Elf and a Wood Elf, and my mother was a pure Nothernor.
Past / History (includes childhood, major-events, and etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Born
during the war in Aegis I was an oddity when it came to children of my lineage.
My hair is a dirty blonde and my eyes a darkish blue. My build slightly broader
than the average human, the only thing that gives my elfish descent away are my
pointed ears. When I was orphaned on the streets I survived mostly by stealing.
While stealing from a bread shop one day when I was about 10 I ran out into the
street and came face to face with a local Lord and his squat companion a dwarf.
The lord was just an average human but seemed to bear himself with a regal
manner. He looked me up and down and said “my look at you smart, quick, and a
strong little runt.” I try to hide the bread but the dwarf hobbles around
behind and to see what I was hiding from him. “And it appears a skilled thief,
how would you like to come with me and have dinner for the night”
Knowing
better than deny a lord I follow him back to his manner on a hill. I am bathed
then given clothes. I begin to notice the room around me. Above the fireplace
is the portrait of a boy, slightly bigger than me and looked vaguely familiar.
Not really caring I throw on my clothes which by the time I got them on were
slightly larger than me and headed to the main dining hall. After a rather
awkward meal we all sat back. The lord started looking at me in the most
peculiar way. Not wanting to meet his gaze I looked down in my lap and began to
twiddle my thumbs. I looked up at him as to not be rude and then it hit me I
pointed right at him and exclaimed “You’re the boy the in that portrait above
the room aren’t you!” he smiled at me and said no that instead that was his
recently deceased son. He began to tell me the story behind this rather random
dinner. The dwarf sitting next to him was going to be his son’s trainer along
with a few others. His son was going to be a great knight when one day in a
training accident he was killed. He now has no one to take care of the estates
and no heir. So as not to let the family fortune and land that’s been in his
family for centuries he needed to find an heir. Well to make a very long story
short that heir if everything works out would be me. I was shocked nothing like
this ever happened to normal people, only in fairy tales.
So
from that day forwards I was trained in the art of being a proper knight, not
only with the sword but the pen and tongue as well. At the age of 18 a tragic
event became me and my new found family. A band of bandits came to our house
and started to raze it. Acting quickly I throw on my training leather and long
sword and bow. By the time I got out of the now burned away manor they were
gone and they left with them my foster father lying on the ground. I quickly
ran to him taking his hand in mine. I felt something wet on my face but I
didn’t reach up to swipe it away. Looking at me with piercing gray eyes and
started to cough up blood. He said to me I need to find Ragnorak Torrinand and
his brother, he will take me into care until my training is complete and with
that he died. After burying my father and getting the small belongings that I owned
I began my trek to find this mysterious Ragnorak Torrin who would take me into
his care and continue my training.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure
stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no
good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: I get up from the
bench where I was enjoying the warmth of today’s sun. The streets aren’t very
crowded this time of day and it seemed peculiar for this man to be out at this
time. I stretch my legs in preparation for anything that might come and begin to
trail the man. On the way past the guards I take one by the shoulder and force
him to walk with me. “Now listen to me, there’s a man here, and he’s looking
really suspicious.” The guard looks at
me and agrees “what should we do” I tell him “I suggest you try to cut ahead to
warn the keeps guards” The guard nods to me and cuts right where there is a
shortcut to the gates so he can cut ahead. I trail him till he is at the castle
gates. The guard had done his job well and there was a full team to meet the
anonymous man. He stops just out of bowshot and waits for the guards to hail
him. The guard I pulled aside steps forwards and asks “what business do you
have here peasant, now be off with ya” the strange man doesn’t move but simply
offers himself up to the guards. Immediately this arouses my curiosity and move
over to help the guards. I ask if I can watch the man in case something wrong
but in the back of my head I know that this is either a very clever assassin or
a fool. They give me permission and lead me to where the man will be kept. On
the way in I catch a quick glimpse of his face and notice a piece of gangrene flesh
and part of his bare bone, and quickly as it was there it was gone. As we
entered the shadow of the keep I know right away I had probably gotten myself
involved in something much larger then myself and that I probably shouldn’t be
here.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large
clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable
old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits
- they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armor and an
iron long sword, how do you react?
Answer: Not doubting my
years of experience and expertise with a blade I step into the bright sunlight
to confront the bandits. Sensing my presence they both turn around to confront
the possibly new threat. I ask them what seems to be the trouble. Without
answering they both look at each other than at me and charge swords flashing in
the sunlight. The first one throws a dagger which I quickly swipe aside with my
blade. By the time I brought my blade to bare the two were already upon me. Whipping
my blade forward I meet the first frenzied but unskilled attacks with some
well-placed parries and blocks. Having them off balance I begin to push towards
the first man. The first I dispatch quickly with a few short thrusts, he went
down with relative ease. While concentrating on the first man the second
managed to jump me from behind. We both end up on the ground him on top my
sword gone from the struggle. He looks me in the eyes and asks “Any last
words?” Seeing no way out of this one I close my eyes and wait for the end.
Suddenly I feel his weight pulled off me, I open my eyes to the old man forcing
his sword through the bandits guts. After cleaning his blade on the bandits
cloak he walks over to me helps me to my feet and says to me “you still got a
lot to learn kid.”
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a
small man standing behind a colorful stall. You approach the stall and notice
that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling
just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you
to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of
choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: Immediately the long
sword grabs my eye. I ask permission to test its weight. Given permission I
grab it and heft it off the wooden stall. I give it a few swings to test its
balance and weight. The length fits my build perfectly and the make is of
exceptional quality clearly from a master smith. I must have this sword; it
would be a lovely addition to my arsenal. I examine the hardened iron for
imperfections or cracks. Deep in the many folds of expertly crafted iron where
the smith had molded it I can tell its strength and workmanship was beyond
comparison to anything I had ever seen before. I look at the man tell him “You
do realize how beautiful a sword you have here right?” he nods and says “It is
indeed what’s your offer?” “how does
BLANK sound” The vender looks at me with narrowed eyes “what are you trying to
do here don’t lowball me” I roll my eyes and say “Double what you got it for
then” the vendor agrees and we both walk away happy, him not knowing the
better.

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: Acting, moving, and talking like a character you are acting as without breaking out of your role as the character. Meaning that when you roleplay a character, when you talk, you talk as them, when you move, you move as them. You are completely immersed in that character.
Meta-gaming: Using resources outside the game to give the player an advantage in the game. For example, you have read about a character in a roleplaying game, but you have not met him before. When you do meet him, you know more about him and can assume things about him, despite him not knowing anything about you.
Power-emoting: Unfairly saying something in roleplay that drastically changes the game beyond others' control. For example, one player says in front of player 2, "A rock falls on player 2 and kills him."

Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Aureus Natron
Current Age: 37
Sub-race (if any): None
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Aureus was born in the Holy Oren Empire with sailors as parents. At 4 years old, his parents left the Holy Oren Empire and planned to sail around the world. On the ship they traveled on, his parents gave him an education and the experience of the many places around Anthos. His father had experiences fighting Orcs when he was younger, so he taught Aureus some basic moves with the sword in the case he needed to defend himself.
But one day when Aureus was 15 years old, the ship was passing through The War Uzg. A group of Orcs walking by the shore attacked the ship by throwing flaming spears and shooting flaming arrows. Aureus and his family got away by rowing the ship away from shore, but the ship was badly damaged. It caught on fire in the attack and was partially burned up.
Aureus and his parents knew that the ship would soon sink if they didn't get help. Since they were bordering the most southwestern part of The War Uzg, they decided to go the long way around Anthos because they knew they could be attacked again by Orcs if they traveled on the border of The War
Uzg.
When the ship was bordering the Empire of Urguan, Aureus and his parents needed food soon because their supply was running out. They stopped at the snowy Empire of Urguan and traveled inland. They found a bag lying in the snow filled with food. His family started gathering food from it since it looked like it belonged to no one, but in the middle of their scavenge a group of Dwarves approached them.
The Dwarves called them intruders and thieves so the Dwarves attacked. Aureus' parents told him to run, and so Aureus did as he was told after hesitation of leaving them. One of the Dwarves followed him and soon caught up to him. The dwarf was a strong warrior that looked to have some experience, but Aureus still fought and did not surrender. He took a stick off the ground and fought with it against the Dwarve's sword. He hit the Dwarve on the head and knocked him out. Aureus got back to shore and climbed aboard the ship, realizing that he had a somewhat natural gift with the sword, despite his limited training.
All by himself, he rode the ship north until he reached the Holy Princedom of Malinor. His ship was about to sink when a ship filled with Elves came riding out onto the waters. They offered to help him because he looked injured and hungry, and Aureus accepted. The Elves fixed his ship and got Aureus back to good health, which gave him great respect for the Elves.
Aureus finally returned to the Holy Oren Empire and saw that his family hadn't returned. He then spend the next 22 years adventuring around Anthos, not wanting to end his times of adventure he had at seas.
Ambitions for the Future: To settle in a house in the Holy Oren Empire and venture into unknown
lands.
Personality: Adventurous, brave, and a little vengeful because of his traumatic experiences long ago.
Skills: Sword fighting (learned from fighting the Dwarves), navigating (from traveling for most of his life).

They follow the figure through the streets. Two of the guards follow the figure from behind, while Aureus takes another route to gain an advantage on the mysterious person. Close to the Emperor's palace, Aureus runs in front of the figure and makes him stop in surprise. The guards confront the figure, and one asks who he is. The clothed figure finally answers slyly after a pause, "I just wanted to meet the Emperor. He is on the streets meeting with others today, after all."
The guards accept this answer and go back to their duties, but Aureus follows the figure in secret just to be sure. The Emperor is outside the palace talking with the people of the city. Aureus sees the dark figure lurk behind the Emperor and reach for a sword. Aureus shouts, "Watch out, Emperor! Look behind you!"
The Emperor turns around and gets out of the figure's way. The clothed person drops his sword in defeat and the guards come back. They haul the figure away while the Emperor thanks Aureus.
Answer: Aureus walks up to the bandits, who each wear chain armor and weild an iron sword. Aurues asks, "What are you doing to this poor man?"
One bandit points a sword at Aureus and says, "Leave us alone and mind your own business."
Aureus warns, "I am skilled in combat. It would not be wise of you to engage in fighting me," despite him knowing he couldn't stand a chance against both of them.
The bandits don't back down, so Aureus kicks one to the ground and slices his sword against the other's chest. Although he did not severely hurt either of them, they were startled enough that Aurues was given time to run away and yell to the old man, "Follow me!"
They travel through the forest with the bandits chasing them, and then come to a village. There are people with swords and armor in the village, so Aureus hides behind them with the old man by his side. The bandits come to the village and see they cannot outmatch all the villagers, so they give Aureus a mean look and turn back into the forest.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggleand choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: Aureus walks up to the stall and asks, "Hello, sir. What do you sell here?"
The man says, "Name it, and we've likely got it. Then we'll settle on a price."
"Okay," Aureus replies, "I'm running low on food. How about a piece of bread?"
"Yes, we have that. What would you like it for?"
"Two minas."
"That's not enough. I need more. How about four minas?"
"No, that's too expensive for me. Lets settle on three."
"No, I don't think so. The lowest I will sell the bread to you is four minas," the man counters as he crosses his arms.
"But I can get a loaf of bread for that much at the local marketplace. I may as well just go buy it there," Aureus says as he prepares to leave.
"No, fine," the man says desperately, "You may have it for three minas. Deal?"
"Deal."
The man hands Aureus the loaf of bread. "Anything else?" he asks.
"No, that will do," Aureus replies before leaving the stall.

Full Name: Duren Longbeard
Current Age: 36
Sub-race (if any): none
Clan (if any): none
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): "My story starts here. In a hole in the ground there lived a Dwarf. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a Dwarven-hole, and that means home, to me. In this hole there lived two Dwarves, Angus Longsword, and Annabel TrimBeard. They fell in love, not a simple love that ends within days: it was the love that brings families together for generations. Back in Aegis these two fell in love, their passion brought with them a feud that almost ended the history of the best Dwarven mead of the northest villages. When Angus and Annabel fell in love, they fell hard, bringing goth their families into a fierce battle of dowries. Neither side wanted to place a dowry since they lacked any money to do so and both parties expected a dowry from the other. Angus and Annabel went off on their honeymoon within the Mead Cellar as the two families battled against something that didn't matter. The Longsword family was known for its master swordsmanship. The TrimBeards where known for their undieing pride, this brought problems all over the small village of Du'Kaz, war almost broke out between both families. Once Annabel and Angus came back, they came back to a problem that would tear them apart. Annabel was so disgusted she wanted to leave, Angus's great love for Annabel made him follow hand in hand, step in step. The families realised they lost their young and ended the feud, shaking hands never to put either family in that position, meanwhile, Angus and Annabel left creating a pact sealing them together forever and ending their ties to their family. Annabel had the bright idea of creating a new name, one that combined TrimBeard and Longsword. She suggested: Longbeard, since Angus had a long beard and Annabel had a... Nevermind, lets continue. With this new name, The Longbeards where created, forging the a family with strong hands and unsurpassed brewing skills, yet their pride would bring them close to extinction."
Duren takes a sip of his ale and continues writing.
"The Longbeard family existed through the era of Aegis, stronger than they ever where. In many ways the Mead Brewing clan got themselves into politics on accident and for lobbying of ideas. Longbeard was a name known as the leading brewers of most towns, expanding into the Human kingdoms as well. The Longbeard name was associated with the upper class, due to their immense wealth and network of relatives strewn across the lands. They where powerful, and power kreeps to ones head, slowly, but surely. The Longbeards helped the kingdom explore Asulon, with intrest of opening new business. The Longbeards expanded to fast, not enough business emrged in the region and they slowly crumbled. Quickly they tried to re-establish back in Aegis stronger than before. This became problematic since new Ale breweries came to town soaking up the rest of the business. The Longbeard name fell from power, they became desperate. Garish Longbeard, a young Dwarf lad, had the idea of turning to crime. Him and his two lackies beat up a local leaving a rival brewery. Word got out to the other Longbeards about this, they became furious and held a Longbeard council. During the council voices where thrown at each other, Mugs, and knives too. One dwarf sat cooly, Garish. He eventualy rose and yelled for them to settle down. The Young Dwarf began speaking; 'If we encourage brigands outside rival breweries, and we advertise the safety of ours, people shall change their minds.' The other Dwarves began thinking about this idea, many questions where raised, many did not want to participate but the majority encouraged them to join the masses. With this new tactic business boomed once more, but many became suspicous. Guards where positioned at other breweries, One brigand was caught and confesed the whole ploy. Business boomed in Aegis and Asulon at this point. There was now proof to bring this massive monopoly down. All business was shut down all 300 members of the longbeard clan where arrested. The Longbeards did not know how to survive without ale, slowly some died, while others knew there must be change. The remaining 237 Longbeard leaders rose up in prison demanding ale, they where cut down. The Longbeard family was destroyed, crippled, completely severed from their past greatness. A few remaining longbeards survived, ashamed of their name."
Duren takes a big swig of his ale, wipping a tear away from his eye. he stares at the pages he was writing in for a minute, then continues once more.
"Harold longbeard and Mathilda longbeard arrived in Anthos, living there for some time. After 30 years they met, quite old. They fell in love, both longbeards as well, one of the last few who came to Anthos. At a very old age they had a child, they named him Duren, standing for "Strong" in the old longbeard language. The language was created during the longbeard golden age, never used, but was started to be taught untill the Longbeard collapse. Mathilda was too old and she could not survive the child birth. Duren lived but Mathilda had passed, with a smile on her face as Duren was born. Harold loved Duren immensly and cared for him as best as possible, despite his work and loss of wife. Harold always told Duren night time stories, stories about the Longbeards. The stories where always good untill Duren became of age. Harold taught him everything of their past, it became proper for longbeards to pass on their story."
Duren looks once more at the writing, he tears up for a second and wipes it off. He takes out his knife and carves Mathilda into the side of the table, unnoticed. He sips his ale and continues on his story.
"I, Duren Longbeard, sought after the reclamation of the Longbeards past. I began working in the mines with my father, Harold for 3 years. I helped him on his way but this work wasn't for me, I was young, adventurous, I wanted to see the world. I took half my saving and gave them to my father so he would have enough to survive. I took the other half and left to explore, I found work all over in local berweries and as a servant. For 3 years I traveled Anthos discovering much about the people, I learned how to create Ale, I became an expert. I also grew addicted to Mead, since I was a longbeard, Also from the mining my hands where strong, I was a fairly built dwarf who loved mead. after another year I decided it was time to go home. I returned to my father very sickly, the coal had filled his lungs and he couldn't mine anymore. He lived off his reserves and his friends helped him. I wanted to stay but I couldn't help myself, I ran towards the mountain cliff. i looked over and saw the great lands of Anthos, I realised what I had to do, I was determined to restore the longbeard name and have it recorded, I'd make Harold, my great father, proud. I returned home and gave him the rest of my money, I kept a little to buy a book and pen, I would support my father with constant money from afar, and I promised I would visit., constantly."
Duren stopped writing, noticing the page was dotted with wet tear spots. He gulped down the rest of his mead, close his book, stood up, and walked out. The book was left there for any traveler, titled, The Dwarf: Down and up again.

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer: Duren quickly looks around, he checks for ways to cross to it. He thinks about jumping, he then looks down and sees he will surely die. He decides no one shall take the diamonds, he also thinks no one is here other than him. he quickly gets topside to his camp, he looks for a large plank to cross on. He finds one and another dwarf helps him along. They get back down but the plank is too short. Duren decides to run and jump. The other dwarf holds down the boards towards the center, Duren runs and jumps off the end onto the ledge. He tosses the diamonds over and waits for help and a longer plank. WHile he waits he drink his canteen full of mead.
Answer: Duren quickly pretends to be a drunk dwarf, he yells, "BOY! come 'ere lemme show ye' a lil' bit o' things of me past and what not." He appraoches the boy, stumbling. The men still aproach. Duren decides it's time to act, he drops his mead, yelling "damn me luck!" As he stumbles he hits one of the cloaked men and grabs his hand, crushing it using longbeard hand strength. The men yells out loud and Duren grabs the kids and runs outside looking for somewher safe. Duren then asks the boy what was going on and tries to find someone responsible for him.
Answer: The longbeard love of mead demands Duren run towards the mead. All duren heard was, "get yer'self an ale!". He denies anything will come bad out of the situation and runs to the inn keeper to get his mead. This could be the end of Duren Longbeard, folled into drinking poisoned ale.

Answer: I get down on my knees to help the old elder up, walking with him and letting him lean on me for support. While he chats with me about how young people these days never help their elders, I silently slip the pouch into my chiffon, knowing that I would need the soon when i run away from home...

Full Name: Julius Naymeer
Current Age: 22
Sub-race (if any): Southeron
Past / History (include childhood,
major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Ambitions for the Future:
An
autobiography by Julius Naymeer.
My
name is Julius Naymeer, and this is my story… Coming on eighteen years ago now,
is when I first met my father. He was, at least I thought, was an honest
working man. When I turned seven, my father left my mother and me at our family
farm, taking all of the money we had earned and saved. Until I was about twelve
years of age, we never found out where he had left to, or who with. My uncle
later revealed to us that my father left to go start a life of crime with him,
and told us that he had been killed by a small hunting party consisting of the Kharajyr.
We never found out why he was actually taken, but we believe that he was taken
as a sacrifice. I was hurt when I heard my father had been killed, however my
mother was a little less sympathetic… After all, he did abandon us with nothing
but the land we lived on.
I
am now 22 years old and I have moved out of the family farm. I currently run my
own farm on the outskirts of Kingston; I am, at this moment farming Carrots and
Potatoes. I wouldn't exactly say it is the most profitable, but it helps me get
by in this world and I’m still earning enough money to put away for the future.
Later on in life I wish to join a trading caravan If none will accept me, and I
can afford it, I will start my own. Hopefully by this time in my life I’ll have
found me a woman to come along with me on my journey that is to come.
Julius
Personality: Julius is a friendly person who enjoys socializing in the town with the locals. He enjoys asking them how it is living in the interior of the city, and admires their responses.
Skills: Julius is better than the average at farming. He is 22 years old now and has been brought up on farms his whole life. He currently owns his own farm that he works on. He is also an expert at cooking food and knows many recipes. Julius is terrible when it comes to combat, as the only training he has received is that of cutting his food.

____
1. Whilst in the mighty human
capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the
Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within
shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Julius notices the
dark-clothed figure sneak stealthily past right behind him. A few moments pass
before he gets a grasp on what is actually happening – He is going to try to
assassinate the Emperor. Julius quickly looks around in all directions,
searching desperately for a guard. Alas he finds one some hundred meters down
the cobblestone path, Already out of breath, he explains to the guards what is
about to happen. The guards laugh at Julius and then hear a scream from the
palaces’ front guards. The guards now rush over.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep
oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled
cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade,
surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him.
You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: Julius quickly decides to
sneak around the tree line to get behind his newly acquired opponents. He
points the tip sword at the two bandits, ordering them to drop their swords. They
refuse then quickly turn around and smack the sword right out of Julius’ hands,
then order him to leave.

no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do
you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that

Answer: Julius explains to the man
that he himself is a farmer interested in joining the merchant trade. At first Julius
notices a pristine set of iron armor, and decides to lowball the merchant for
250 Minas. The merchant disgusted at his offer offers it to him for 600.
Julius, knowing he does not have that kind of money, but is still looking for a
profit, decides to lower that offer again, down to 400 Minas. The merchant now
actually considering his offer as realistic, still declines saying that the
offer is still too low. Julius finally offers 500 Minas for the armor set and
the owner accepts. Julius now has a fairly valuable item that he may sell at
another location for at least a 200 Minas profit, however, that is not all he
wants to be taking to the next town he arrives in. He sees a couple golden
decorative swords, and tries getting the pair for 100 Minas. The owner of the
shop still in the mood to do more trading, accepts, knowing that he will still
profit off the deal, and it is going to help out a man accomplish his dream. Julius
now throws the armor and golden swords into his carrying sack, thanks the
Merchant for being generous and proceeds to start his route to the next town with
his new profession as a simple Trader.

Clan (if any): (Family lore says the
Graymans a descended from the Blackaxe clan)
Past / History (include childhood,
major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Fili was born back in Kal’Urgan of Aegis and with three older brothers; Kili, Dili, and Yili. He had lighter skin and orange hair, compared to his brothers who had dark skin and black hair. Being the youngest he was usually bullied by his older brothers. His father Grilim Grayman who had been a great warrior in the past taught him to fight and stand up for himself, These were useful skills but he could not take on three people at once. Therefor he decided to use tactics and traps to outsmart his brothers and became known as the strategist of the family. He always looked for an easier route than what was in front of him. As a child he always had a
fascination with stone, very usual for a dwarf. His family directed him down a path of a miner and taught him the few they knew about mining (his family had a history of being soldiers not miners). A master mason worker that had stumbled upon him one day decided to take him under his wing and taught him how to sharpen his skills.
With these traits he got jobs finding gold and iron in dark places with little light, a skill he gained after days of mining in the dark, but in times of war his love for his friends and family was too great so to please them he’d go to battle as well. He managed to scrape out a living by mining but decided he wanted something more. At the age of thirty two seasons he moved out of his family home and was apprenticed to a soldier of the Legion who taught him
about how to use swords above all else (which is rather odd seeing that most dwarves carry axes and hammers), and with this new skill he gained the respect of a
Ironbreaker enlisted in the legion, who then taught him how to use bows and other types of swords including the lighter human-based ones (dwarf swords are often wide.)
He made a name for himself by fighting many battles and after Kal’Urgan was destroyed he came to Kal'Azgoth. He has now gotten enough wealth to start looking for better work but he feels he should join the Legion in order to carry down his family tradition and so plans to follow his brothers into war and all other ends.
Ambitions for the Future: to bring
my clan to honor and become part of the Grand Council
Personality: brave, slow to
anger(for a dwarf) argumentative, stubborn, ready for a fight if the time
comes.
Skills: mining and seeing ore in dark places, swordsmanship (over the Dwarven axes and hammers), and had a decent aim with a bow(dwarf-wise anyway)
Appearance (this must include an
in-game screenshot of your skin): orange hair, brown eyes, broad shoulders, and semi-short beard (dwarfwise)
Each question in this section
must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event
in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or
lore at any point.
1. Whilst mining deep in the
undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side
of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks
precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do
you do?
Answer:
Fili looks at the thin, wavering bridge
before him and thinks to himself about if he should risk everything for those
diamonds at the other end. Before he can think it through he finds himself
walking forward on the weak bridge. Pickaxe in hand he compels himself to push forward and
with one thought he rushes forward and sprints across, before he knew it the bridge emitted an echoing CRACK! As he sprints across, now at full speef the bridge collapses under were his feet were and he grabs on just in time before the bridge becomes two pieces of rock jutting out from the ravine wall. Fili has a weak grip, for when the bridge fell stones came down and hit him t=in the shoulders and one right into the ankle. As he tries to pull himself up the piece of bridge breaks, however luck was with him today a great stone had fallen and broken the bridge piece from the back. It fell backwards instead and Fili was able to slide down only to fall abruptly and slam his legs against the hard unforgiving stone floor of the ravine hurting his ankles in the
fall. As he slowly arises and realizes he hadn’t fallen off! Fili made it to the diamonds!
2. You are sitting in the local
tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather
young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself,
and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two
shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at
the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to
approach the young dwarf. What do you do?
Answer:
The two shady dwarves in the corner get up and start approaching the beardling with a dagger, seeing this Fili starts to feel sick, it’s not like a dwarf to do this terrible thing. It’s not like a dwarf to watch another be hurt especially a beardling. Without a second though Fili gets up and walks right in front of the two dwarves and asks them “ye fellers want an ale?” as he glares at them with stone-cold eyes. The two dwarves realizing that they’d have to have a fight rather than a simple murder went and sat back down and started talking again. Fili looks down at tear-filled eyes of the beardling and ask “ye alroight ladie?” and he responds with “aye I beh fine” I offer him a drink but he turns it down saying he wasn’t in the mood (which is quite unlike a dwarf) however seeing that the beardling stopped his crying he walks back to his seat at the corner and continues with his pint of ale.
3. Whilst wandering through the
Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get
ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner
looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do
you react?
Answer:
Fili turns around seeing the heavily bearded
bar-owner who offerd him the ale shocked he answers back “Aye ‘ow much moite?” and he
responds “aye I’d beh three minas fer meh finest.” Fili thinking it over Sees that this seems like
a fair price so he pays him three minas, and the bar-owner hands the pint of ale to Fili then goes and gets himself one. Losing their sense of time to the ale they talk for hours about their hopes and dreams, as well as many entertaining and funny stories. After hours and hours of talking
and “drink-offs” Fili’s eyes started to shut and before either could think they had both passed out after all their long and loud hours of talk and drink and go into a deep, dreamless sleep until he wakes up with a empty barrel of ale on top of him and the bar-owner’s face sliding against the bar’s tabletop. After heaving the barrel off him he tips the man a good 21 minas seeing they’d made and walks home.
Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? Yes I have.
What previous experience have you had with role-playing? I enjoy using /nick plugins and adopting other personalities (as an archmage, warrior, demon etc.) I also played Oblivion and Skyrim. I enjoy a good story line complemented by interesting weapons and powers and a fine back story.
How did you hear about Lord of the Craft? I googled "role playing servers" and found the site. I delved into the lore and thought it was really good.
Have you read the Elven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography? Yes I will.
Definitions
Role-Playing: Adopting the persona of a character in a story. Through the gameworld you become that character in a way, and make that character's decisions.
Meta-Gaming: Utilizing information your character would realistically have no idea even existed. ex. Knowing the enemy's attack from an outside source instead of whats in-game.
Power-Emoting: Creating an event through emotes where the only possible person who benefits is you. ex. Zeckron casts a spell that brings the entire building around him to collapse, but leaves him miraculously untouched.
In-Character Information
Full Name: Acaln Sil
Current Age: 135
Sub-Race: Dark Elf
Past:
Acaln was born in Normandur. His father was a swordsman of some local renown and he was taught the deadly art from an early age. Shortly after his 25th birthday he attended a function and bore witness to the magic art. A thief had attempted to steal some fine jewelry and would have escaped if not for a wizard who heard the gold chink, and turned the thief into gold as punishment for his greed. Acaln was amazed and wished to know more, he found some old volumes and had a disastrous attempt at magic. Thoroughly browbeaten and having learned his lesson, Alcaln took up work in the city finding good use for his skill as a swordsman. Living a double life as a brute by day and a scholar by night, Alcaln studied ancient novels and arcane texts, searching, hoping, to find out what he did wrong... and then he met Leyu Llir, and to his eyes she was the fairest thing to grace his presence. A young woman of station and beauty. Leyu captured the young guardsman's heart. But for all his attempt at charm and grace he failed to attract her fully. She nearly drove him mad, coy remarks and teasing glances left him a shattered man and he turned to drinking, got into a brawl, and was arrested by the ranks he had joined. When he was released he left the city on a pilgrimage never to be seen until he met Leyu again in Leumalin a century later.
Ambitions:
Acaln hopes to find renown and maybe join the Mages guild.
Personality:
Alcaln is a deep thinker and a solid talker, he is cool and calculating when dealing with low lives and villains, and cannot stand injustice.
Skills: Alcaln was trained in swordsmanship from his father who intended it to be his career.
Open-Response-Questions
1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Icy rage fills my heart, I walk up to the group and ask in a cool voice barely more than a whisper: “Iblees's curse is quite a bane is it not?” They whip around surprised, two look uneasy but the oldest one sneers. “What? You think you're some kind of holy man? Let us have our fun and you be on your way.” I drop my voice to a whisper, “Events could take a turn for the worse here elor, you might want to be on YOUR way.” The Elf's face grows red at the insult, I casually move my cloak away from the hilt of my sword, he grows pale and mutters, “Fine, we'll leave him alone.”
I rush forward and check his heart, still beating, still good, he seems to have caught the brunt of the blow on his staff, thus avoiding injury to his head. He is a little bruised but otherwise unhurt, when he comes to he seems lucid, I help him up and see him on his way, before he goes he turns and insists I have a few coins for my labor.
Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do?
I notice a sword. A fine sword it is too, its edges are tipped with blue diamond that shimmers faintly in the moonlight. I ask: “A fine blade you have there merchant.” He glances at it and he says: “Aye, and an expensive one too me lad.” I inquire the price. “700 minas” he says “no more, no less.” I glance back at it, it shimmers seductively in the moonlight. “How about 500?” He shoots me an incredulous look. “600 at the very least.” I press in. “What about 510 and this axe I found?” He looks at the axe, it's a fine axe -or so I've been told, myself knowing nothing about axes. “Where did you “find” that?” he says. “I pulled it off the corpse of a zombie, do you want it or not?” He bites his lip. “It's fine steel. Many dwarves would covet such a thing... Very well 510 minas and that axe and I'll sell you the sword.”

Character Name:Evangelia
Character Race:Wood Elves
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:
The storm raged wildly outside, the wind battering the small house. Lightning shot through the air, seemingly aiming to destroy the village. As thunder rolled overhead Evangelia sat on her bed, her head resting on her knees. Brushing her coffee brown hair behind her pointed ears, she pushed herself out of the small cot. She sighed, looking to her alabaster skin, which was quite uncommon for those of her kind. A smile played on her pink lips as she remembered her mother describing her as the moon and sun's child. Evangelia's hand stroked the necklace at her collar-bone a small emerald amulet lay across it. It's chains were made of vines, weaving throughout each other in a memorizing pattern. In the middle there lay a fine cut emerald engraved with a small lily, outlined by pure silver. The amulet was an heirloom of her family, it gave her light in darkness, it connected her with her family, both passed and alive. sometimes she could hear whispering from it, like a call to her, though she could have been going crazy. Evangelia chuckled softly, lowering herself back onto the bed. She closed her eyes, opening her mind to sleep.
The thick trees clouded the sun from view, the sky was a blur of calming colors that barely peaked through the great oaks that spread across all of western Anthos. Evangelia sat in her yard, ripping the plush grass from the ground. She was average for an 18 year old, not rising above 6 foot, her piercing blue eyes squinted as she tried to make out the figure In the distance, approaching the small but humble cottage. A goofy grin shot up on Evangelia's face as she sprinted towards the figure with outstretched arms. Her father grinned, embracing her and planting a small kiss atop her head. In his hands he held a package that undoubtably held his pray. Her father was a born hunter, this is what brought him and her mother together. She was the daughter of a butcher, and he was the one who hunted the meat. there was a deep threaded friendship that grew between them that eventually budded into a romance, resulting in her birth. They had her in this very cottage, where she would spend the first 18 years of her life. Evangelina smiled as she gracefully strode towards the cottage where her mother stood. An uneasy smile appeared upon her face as she drew her mother towards her father. Nervously rubbing her hands together she blurted out the words she had feared to say. "I'm moving to the city." She gasped out, awaiting her family's cry of protest. They simply nodded, agreeing completely and wholeheartedly, but they had one question. "What will you do?" She wasn't quite sure, maybe she would learn magic, maybe she would fall in love, maybe she would become the master of the bow.Who knew exactly what their destiny was? But the one thing she was sure of was that she wouldn't find her destiny sitting in her warm, safe cottage. She would have to plunge head first into the real world, who knew what adventures would unfold.
What are your characters ambitions?:Evangelina wants ti live life to its full extent, so far she just wants to get in her feet before starting her future, but would enjoy possibly learning magic, or becoming a shopkeeper, or anything else truly.

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?
I strode down the street, my mind drifting from what was around me. I stumbled back into reality as a loud call priced my ears. Before me was a small dwarf, no bigger than four feet. I noticed his clothes seemed old and tattered, and from the way they hung loosely across his his body I would say he hasn't eaten a full meal in quite some time. I quickly walked past him, but guilt inward at my stomach, causing me to peddle back. I sighed, fishing money from my pocket and handing to him. He smiled a toothless grin and placed food into my hands. Nodding in thanks I walked off. Satisfaction riddling my face.
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?
I shivered in the midnight cold, pulling my robe closer around myself. In the distance a torch light grew faintly, revealing the silhouettes across the path. The two seemed to be squabbling so I sprinted towards them, aware of an ongoing conflict. An Orc and a dwarf were yelling angrily at each other, their fists held up. I approached the two, my mind screaming at me to turn around and run home. I stepped between them, my hands pushing the backwards. "I think we can solve this with words." I reasoned carefully. The Orc grunted, but put his fists down and the dwarf followed his lead, nodding in agreement the two struck a deal and went their separate ways.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:
I panted heavily, wiping sweat from my brow. The old pathway was not well know about, and had long since been overgrown with wild vines and bushes of all sorts. The only other person along this path was an old man, his oak cane clicking along the path. A root seemed to pass his notice as he tumbled to the ground, his coin purse releasing its contents. My empty stomach looked at the coins hungrily, knowing they would buy me a nice meal. I groaned inwardly as my stupid good mind shut my stomach up. I kneeled down next to the man, picking up his coins and handing them to him, while helping him up. He smiled kindly, nodding his thanks and placing two coins into my hands. We both went our ways, smiling happily.

In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Dimaethor Current Age: 264 Sub-race (if any): Dark Elf Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Dimaethor did not have a special childhood, nor an uncommon one, or even a particularly interesting one. He was born in Asulon, in Normandor, to a father that had taken up soldiery as a profession and a mother who helped run the library. They lived in relative ease together in a modest home. Dimaethor being an only child, all his father's and mother's parental attentions were spent on him. He learned to wield a blade at a young age thanks to his father. Over the years, he proved himself a more than capable swordsman. While he could not be considered a master under any standard, he was uncommonly competent with a sword. Dimaethor learned to read and write thanks to his mother. Because of her role in the library, Dimaethor never ran out of stories to read. He found an interest in Elven tales of yore, and knows many by heart.
When Dimaethor was of age, he decided he wanted to see the rest of the Elven world. He set off on his own, with his parents consent, to visit the other Elven cities and territories. It was on this journey that he was exposed to the rest of the world. Though he never left Elven lands, he met Humans, Dwarfs, and even the beastly Orcs. He haggled with merchants, chatted with locals, trained and honed his blade on many occasions, and was witness to breathtaking sights. His journey lasted more than half a century, and was only cut short by the fall of Asulon. He sailed to Elysium and Kalos with other survivors, and eventually landed on the shores of Anthos. Dimaethor settled in Leumalin with the majority of his race. However, he has yet to find his parents, though he believes they still live. Ambitions for the Future: After the fall of Asulon, and with influences from his father, Dimaethor wishes to become a Sentinel and help protect Malinor. Personality: Though outwardly a calm, collected individual, Dimaethor can be ruthless and cold. He has a deep suspicion, though also curiosity, of other non-elven races. As he wishes to become a Sentinel, he is willing to sacrafice much for Malinor. Even so, he does not make any of his decisions in haste, is often very calculating. Skills: Dimaethor is skilled with a sword and competent with most blades. He is a passing archer. He also possesses knowledge of many Elven tales, and despite his ruthless nature he is very loyal to those he deems worthy. Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):
Any other details you wish to share about your character: Not really, no.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: I frown, wishing that I was a Sentintel so I could investigate further myself. As it stands, I approach the nearest Sentinel and inform them of what I witnessed, and continue on my way.
Answer: Knowing the duties of a Sentinel, despite not being one, I help the old man up onto his feet. I then collect the gold off the street and put it inside a spare coin pouch I have, and hand it to him.
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. Full Name: Alya Edgehand
Current Age: 85 seasons
Sub-race (if any): Half-Mountain Dwarf, Half-Cave Dwarf
Clan (if any): Edgehand’s Clan
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Alya was raised in the mountains near Karik, among the Edgehand Clan. She was taught how to cook, act, and hold her own like a true Edgehand lass. She didn’t follow the path of a housewife such as her friends. No, she chose to go into battle. For years she hopped into any brawl she could find, slamming a good ol’ haymaker into the first lug she saw’s nose. When she left the mountains, she quickly joined up with the dwarven military, serving in the Dwarf vs. Orc wars. She fought hard, much akin to the dwarves alongside her. After her final battle, the Battle of the Sands, she left the life of fighting behind for a while, focusing more on friends and living life.
Alya’s lust for battle soon came back as time waned. When the Dwarven Legion was formed, she entered it full-heartedly, proudly bearing the colors of Kal’Urguan. Her fighting with the Legion led her to eventually finding Raglin Edgehand, kin to her. In fact, he was her brother. Their reunion sparked her patriotism for her clan, and put forth all of her efforts into restoring the clan’s former prowess and renown. To this day she works alongside her brother to upkeep its reputation, and bring further honor to its name.
Ambitions for the Future: To live a long and honorable life. Hopes to find glory, and present dwarven female power.
Personality: Kind, generally. Often quick to jump into the fray. Has quite the love for kittens, despite her otherwise ferocious attitude at times.
Skills: Decent swordsman, and can throw a punch better than most.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):http://www.minershoes.com/skin/view/i5189ae649a6f58509892797298501625023050175
Any other details you wish to share about your character: Alya is a stout, brown haired dwarf, with brown eyes and light colored skin and has miraculously attractive features (for a dwarf). She wears her hair tied back often, so that it will not fall in her face while in battle. She wears light leather armor, with small bands of metal and chainmail here and there. A short broadsword hangs at her side, with “Edgehand” written in dwarven text along the blade.

____
1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer: Alya would care little for the ore across the bridge, since she is satisfied with what she has already collected and because she would not want to risk the fall if the stone bridge was to break. But then again, it WAS a load of diamonds. She taps her chin, unsure as to what she should do. After a while of contemplation, she shakes her head, “S’no’ worth it! Ah’ve got stuff to do anyway.” She strolls off, although her mind remains on the possibilities that could have been given if she had had that much wealth. Maybe she’ll talk to Raglin about it later, and have him go mining instead.
Answer: Alya gets up from her seat, and walks towards the two shady dwarves. She does her best to look tough by building up her petite frame and says to them in her most intimidating voice, “Oi, you! Ge’ back! Y’step closer and I’ll smack ye right across th’ face wif’ this sword!” She says as she draws the shortsword that rested at her side. The dwarves would hopefully back away. If not, she would indeed engage them in combat. The menacing dwarves, after some deliberation, looked Ayla up and down, as if sizing her up, and left the tavern quietly. When they left, she turned to the child, hugging it and comforting it. “Easy, wee bonnie. S’alright.” The child sniffles and nods, as Alya runs her hands over his back comfortingly.
Answer: Alya walks toward him and warily asks the bar-owner how much the ale costs. The owner replies,”It’s on the house fer a pre’y lassy such as yerself! Come on in!” Alya clutches her shortsword with caution and steps into the bar, looking around. There are dwarves of all types dancing, laughing, and drinking ale. She would remain wary for a while, but after her second pint of ale, she would loosen up considerably. Before long, she was headbutting and armwrestling all sorts of folk.
“Wot are ye looking at?” She shouted at a dwarf, and he replied. “Not sure! Looks like ah fine lassy for me! Haha!” She barked a laugh, then jabbed her fist into his nose, breaking it with a crunch. “OWWWW, M’BLOODEH NOSE!” He’d scream, running off as he clutched his bleeding nose. Alya would nod with satisfaction. After a while longer of chilling about the tavern, she’d leave and head home for the Edgehand Clan Hall. “Ah’ve got some stories to share tonight!” She’d call out, laughing and making her way.

My family knew almost everyone in our Kingdom and it turns out when i mentioned him they said they didn't recall the boy. I saw him the next day and confronted him. We talked for what seemed like forever and it turns out we wern't that different. We didnt want to be warriors and agreed that for as long as we lived we would never try to fight for our own good. I soon found out that the boys name was Ryku. Ryku and i would spend our days not training to be warriors as most kids would do but instead we would try our hardest to convince our elders to let us go out and adventure the areas outside of the kingdom. My mother passed away when I was 3 years old I still remember the day my father told me that. My father only had enough for us to eat and drink the bare minimum due to occasional theft. He was a miner, a gold miner. Before I was born my mother and him lived happily until she could a horrid fever and my father's sucess started lowering as my mother was dying.
When I was 12 my father took me out of the mines and we stayed in a forest nearby. We soon moved back and it was hard to adapt coming back but my father bought a building and turned it into an inn. The inn was doing good until I moved out and I guess my father was lonely. I would visit him frequently but it wasn't enough. So I moved back in once again and my dad put me in charge of the inn.
5 year later he passed away I don't know what happened to him and I ran the inn alone. I could see why my father wanted me back so I sold the inn and found a store and bought some minig supplies and started mining. A lot of the time I sleept right outside the mineshaft otherwise I would go to a tavern and fell asleep in one of the chairs near the fireplace.

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?
Answer: I would find a large rope and tie it onto a large rock and hold one of the sides and walk slowly across the bridge and if it falls I will hold the rope and use my boots to climb back up onto the surface where the rock is.
Answer: I would say "Stop!" loudly and get there attention and go over to them and say "What are you doing" and take the dagger.
Answer: I would first ask where he got it and then smell it. If it smelled strange I would say "no" politely and slowly hand him back the mug of ale to not start a fight.

Aed: Thank'ee much, kind soul.

*Jethrodiah snickers to himself as he walks away*

Full Name: Cellissel Freaninddare
She still writes to her parents and older brother on a regular basis, as she values family, though she sometimes enjoys being alone to have time to think.
Ambitions for the Future: Cellissel hopes to explore the world, learning about other people and making their day by entertaining them.
Personality: Cellissel is a people person. She loves helping people and is very curious about them. Also, she values her family and the arts above all else. However, Cellissel has a short attention span and is easily distracted, especially when there’s music playing. She’s not very motivated at all and has a hard time sticking to anything productive. Though she’s patient, she’ll often get lost in the whirlwind of her thoughts while bored and not so easily be pulled back into reality.
Skills: Cellissel is a singer. Though her voice isn’t all that great itself, she’s skilled enough at putting passion into her music to keep audiences listening.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Cellissel has lightish gray skin and pure white hair. Her eyes are a pastel periwinkle. She wears a tattered purple shirt and black skirt, the only clothing she owns due to her lack of money. At all times she wears a smooth rock on a necklace that her brother gave her when she was a little girl. The flower in her hair is for remembrance of her family, because it’s the same kind her mother used to grow.
Any other details you wish to share about your character: Oh yeah, and she’s a pacifist.
Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full.

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Answer: I wait, always watching. I get near them but not close enough to where they can sense my presence. One man starts looting the old man's pockets while the other stands behind him and laughs. I get behind the one laughing and swiftly take him out. The other bandit turns around and grabs for his weapon but it's too late. I already have my throat up to his neck. I kill him and then loot the bandits. I sort out what belongs to the old man and return it to him. He thanks me and I nod as I walk away, slightly grinning with the satisfaction of helping an old man and getting some money.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one
paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as
possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): He has brown hair and a beard and has green eyes. He wears simple clothing that is good for adventuring. Picture:http://oi44.tinypic.com/9t03lt.jpg

____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Aureus walks up the the clothed figure and asks "What is your business here?"
He does not answer and instead runs off. Aureus shouts off to the guards, "A clothed figure is running from me! He looks to be up to no good!"

Answer: The longbeard love of mead demands Duren run towards the mead. All duren heard was, "get yer'self an ale!". He denies anything will come bad out of the situation and runs to the inn keeper to get his mead. This could be the end of Duren Longbeard, folled into drinking poisoned ale.

3. You are standing within the
mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful
stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of
general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has
no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do
you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that
happens).

Complete the following biography
on your character:
Full Name: Fili Grayman
Current Age: 32 seasons
Sub-race (if any): mountain dwarf
Appearance (this must include an
in-game screenshot of your skin): orange hair, brown eyes, broad shoulders, and semi-short beard (dwarfwise)

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:

Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Dimaethor
Current Age: 264
Sub-race (if any): Dark Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc.

____
Answer: Knowing the duties of a Sentinel, despite not being one, I help the old man up onto his feet. I then collect the gold off the street and put it inside a spare coin pouch I have, and hand it to him.
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: Playing as a character that you’ve created. You perform their actions and their emotions in a fiction environment.
Meta-gaming: Using OOC information so that you can benefit yourself IC, or just in general. For instance, Amanda hears the password to Joe’s castle over Skype, and she types it in and enters the castle in-game.
Power-emoting: Typing an action into the chat, where it affects another character forcibly, with no fair response available. For example, *Player 1 hits Player 2 and cuts their arm off*
In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:
Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Answer: I would find a large rope and tie it onto a large rock and hold one of the sides and walk slowly across the bridge and if it falls I will hold the rope and use my boots to climb back up onto the surface where the rock is.

Answer: I would first ask where he got it and then smell it. If it smelled strange I would say "no" politely and slowly hand him back the mug of ale to not start a fight.
